Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for an A/C tune up and cleaning.

Description of Work: I have a service cotract with this company which I should cancel. Over the last year, I had multiple issues wit my AC unit.I had 4 different technicians come. The first one brought an apprentice, spent hours and told me the problem was that my unit was too big for my house. It had run well for 5 years up to that point. Problem not fixed. The second one came and said it was my air filter and sold me $100+ filters. Problem not fixed. The third one added Freon. Problem fixed for 6 months. The fourth one thought it was a leak. Had to come back another day for it. Told me he could fix it for $900. Then told me he couldn't find it and it would be $2,300. There were also some other things that I am not comfortable sharing on a public site.

Description of Work: First time using Angie's list.After discovering broken flapper on my toilet (and the seal to which it connects) I called Water Works early in the morning and made an appointment for between 1 and 3 that day. After calling me to tell me the technician would be late, the repairman showed up at 4 PM. He commented negatively on the quality of the toilet in the house (it's an American Standard, standard flush rate - not the cheapest, not the most expensive but widely available) saying it was a cr#p toilet, probably from Home Depot, which, he said, sells poor quality toilets, but he would try to see if he had a flapper that would fix it but it would cost $299. Seemed high but I said OK. FYI - I bought the house a year ago with the toilet already installed and subject to a home inspection. Home inspector said both toilets in the house worked fine. So the repairman went to his truck, gets a flapper, tries it and says it doesn't fit because of the poor quality toilet. He says he won't find an appropriate flapper in his warehouse either. He than said he would have to do an extensive reworking of the back of the toilet which would cost $499. I informed him I could buy a new toilet and have it installed for less than that. He responded that he could not fix the toilet with any kind of warrantee for less than the $499 figure he mentioned. After a tense discussion where I tried to understand why it would cost so much and explain I just needed it to work he said he couldn't help me and left. I called around and found another plumber, not on Angie's list, who came two hours later and installed a flapper from his truck and had the the toilet working in 20 minutes for a total of $145.

You gave me a pick of 4 plumbers I picked Water Works they were very professional . I had part of my 4 inch sewer drain-replaced in my-basement . The plumber I had (Sean ) was right on the mark he did a great job also made me feel like he really cared about his about his job he was neat and very personal . My total job cost $ 1.800 which wasn't bad for the amount of work he did by him self . I would tell anyone who asked to call Anggies List for help . And Water Works for a plumber .

Description of Work: After a small get-together, our toilet refused to flush. It kept backing up. Tried plunging, didn't do the trick. Went out and spent $10 at Home Depot on a 3 ft auger, no dice. Went back to Home Depot and spent $50 on a 6 ft auger, waste of money. Finally gave up and called Water Works because I saw their reviews here. Technician came out on time, assessed the situation and concluded that one of our main pipes was clogged. He opened a trap and snaked the pipe using a large professional electric snake. Crisis averted.

They just did a tune up on our air conditioning system. They checked the filter. They checked everything on the air conditioning unit and everything up in the attic.

Description of Work: I called Water works at 8:30 am I was told someone would arrive between 10 am and noon. At 10:15 the Tech arrived. He quickly diagnosed the issue. He gave me a quote and repaired the problem, all within an hour. I needed a new pump. He had one available and all the needed parts. Very courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend them.
