My toilet was not functioning properly. Water Works promptly made an appointment and the service man arrived on time. He did the repair and I am happy to say that everything works! Water Works is very professional and their service men are great but I think that they may be a bit expensive. If I ever need plumbing services again I will definitely shop around and get price quotes just to compare prices and to make sure that they are competitive--- if the prices are comparable I would hire Water Works in a heartbeat. July, 2015 update: This is the second time that I've used Water Works and this is the second time that I was pressured to have additional work done. This seems to be a company policy- not the behavior of one plumber because it happened both times. I was pressured to put in a new toilet. I told them that the color of my 1950's bathroom can not be matched and I really had no plans to spend thousands of dollars to replace the whole bathroom because I needed a part for a toilet. Again I was pressured to put in a white toilet that would go with everything! Then both times the plumber went into the cellar to check on the pipes and both came back with quite a list of all of the additional work that I needed to have done. I finally agreed to have a leak tended to (which I needed) but frankly I just do not look forward to calling this company again. The prices are not cheap but the work they do is very good so it is ultimately worth it. But, the pressure to build up the sale and add additional work and replace fixtures made me feel pressured and a bit hustled. The Plumbers are professional and polite - This must be a company policy and I really would rather they not do this.

My experience with Water Works was fantastic. I was able to call for an emergency and have a tech out the same day. I was called with an ETA for the tech and given a window for expectations and all were met. The tech was professional and answered all my questions regarding plumbing 101 in my new home. Would definitely recommend.

After a botched job (that left dirty footprints on my rug and the light on in my crawl space) by Roto Rooter, I called Water Works hoping to solve my back up problem. Omar showed up as scheduled, put booties on over his boots before entering my home, and snaked the pipe to break up the roots. He then got out the camera (which roto rooter would have charged another $300 for) and put it down the clean out and showed me the root issue I was having, and recommended some things going forward. The whole experience was fast, painless and reasonable.

Everything went fine. He was courteous and kind.

Dan, the plumber, explained the cost options for the repairs we wanted. He was knowledgeable, patient, and professional. After we decided on the repairs he immediately started the work and completed it to our satisfaction.

In addition to fixing my toilet and sink pipes, he also made recommendations to me about owning a home and things that I might need attention to other things. I was considering heating for my home and he also discussed products in depth. He also offered the range of what I could pay with their company and other companies and what the pluses and minuses were. He gave me the whole spectrum! He was very resourceful and informative. He was here on time, he was clean, and he did what he said he was going to do.

I am very satisfied with their work.

The technician was very good. He went to great lengths to explain what was going on with my furnace and ways to improve it's performance. He was on time, very thorough and very patient.

Service person was very pleasant, explained everything, made some suggestions to keep bill down.

This is a revision of my previous review of waterworks. After my original review, I received a call from the owner. He was very upset and apologetic that I had a bad experienced with one of his technicians. He had a supervisor,Bob,come out and repeat the inspection. Bob was very professional and very thorough. He checked every point on that inspection list that was promised. Bob was very pleasant. He explained everything that he did and made recommendations. I thank you waterworks. You have remedied a bad situation.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was okay. The price was decent, and they showed up on time, but I probably wouldn't use them again. I would look for somebody more local. They were trying to upsell on other items, and they were telling me that there were other things that I needed done.

That was fine. He came and did what they were suppose to do. We don't have any complains about them. It was satisfactory and he seems to know what he was doing.

Water Works' responsiveness was wonderful. Jim and Omar are wonderful. The technicians were pleasant, explained what they and I thought I needed to know, brought cement blocks to raise the water heater as discussed on their first visit and completed the work more quickly than expected. They then showed me what they had done and explained what to do in case of problems (such as hurricane floods affecting the heater). I'm delighted.

They arrived on time to look things over and we also went over the additional things we needed done. That added about $350 to the Angies list deal for the new water heater, but I know it was very reasonable. They came 2 days later to do the actual work and had everything done within about 6 hours. The steam pipe was tricky since it was in a tight area. The old pipe had to be cut away and then the new steam pipe inserted. They added a shut off I wanted for a long time for an outside faucet. The hot water heater was done according to code and they got the permits as well. Place was clean as a whistle when they left. Overall, very surprised at the quality of work, responsiveness, professionalism at such a great price. I would definitely use them again (probably to check out my steam pipe banging this winter) without hesitation and would recommend them highly based on this experience. Well done!

They were great; they were so great I has them install a water softener unit and all went well. Great company very professional.

When I called to make the appointment, I stated that our garbage disposal was in need of repair or replacing. When the technician arrived, he said that he could not look at it until I agreed to have the unit replaced (even though, at this point, I didn't know if replacement was even necessary). I asked how much it would cost to replace the disposal and he stated there was a flat fee of $795. I told him I found this to be quite high; we have had much more extensive, complicated and time-consuming work done for significantly less. He said there was travel time involved, which was reflected in this charge, but the office had already informed me (when I asked about it while making the appt.) that there was no trip charge. In addition, having priced disposals online, I knew that a retail price for the unit was 140-180. After I re-contacted his office, the technician was finally instructed to check the existing unit. Since it was determined that this would be 'a simple fix', he was told to reduce the price to 645. However, this reduced price would still reflect an hourly fee of approximately 350-400. When I mentioned this to him, the technician was hostile and responded that I wouldn't argue about a lawyer's fee. He was quite rude and I truly don't understand the relevance of this comparison since I was clearly comparing their fee to those charged by professional plumbers we have used. On the invoice it was stated "unjammed, very difficult to do"; however the technician spent very little time on this 'repair'. This was a terrible , waste of my time and a very distressing and unsatisfactory experience. Regarding the coupon offer: The 99. you will pay for "200. worth of services" covers their initial service charge only, with 100 being applied toward their flat-rate fees. Essentially, there is no 200. worth of services if you do not accept their flat-rate charge. If, for some reason, you are considering using the Water Works "Big Deal", I would advise that you call first and ask what their flat rate is for the work you need. According to the technician, all of their work is done with flat-rate pricing; they do not, apparently, charge by the hour or for the specific materials needed. In my opinion and experience, their "Big Deal" is no deal at all.

Plumber did exactly what was offered in the Angie's special deal. The plumber was cordial, prompt, and knowledgeable. I'd use this company again.

We had a new water heater installed, having purchased an Angies's List deal. The people in the office were very helpful, and took the time to answer all of my questions with extreme courtesy. They scheduled the job promptly. Jim arrived this morning, on time.He removed the old water heater and installed the new one. He was very professional. We liked him very much, and have a very good feeling about the whole experience. We'll use this company again.

I had an outdoor frost proof faucet that was leaking a lot from the handle. Sal from Waterworks was outstanding in explaining the options to replace or repair. The best was to attempt the repair that he did flawlessly. He did an outstanding job! Right down to searching the web from his phone to locate a handle for me to order and update after the repair. He really thinks of what is best for clients. I could not be happier not having to replace the unit that would have required breaking the inside wall wainscoting or the outdoor singles to get a replacement. All is fine now and we did not having to go breaking open walls.

Odd. I wasn't home at the time of the service and they didn't leave any report or information on their findings or any recommendations on the condition of the heater.
