Dan from Water Works gave me an estimate of about $1800. I asked for a break down of the costs, he said because he needed to bring another person along to hold up the sink while he makes the installation. This is the reason for the inflated price. I told him i am also scheduled to meet with another plumbing company for another estimate. He then said will not give me a written estimate because I will be speaking with another plumber that could be his competitor. I was disappointed at this utmost unprofessional response. I, needless to say, did not use their services. I ended using someone else who was not on your list of recommendations. A good referral should be not only a job well done but also the integrity and trust. I unfortunately was very diss appointed. As a result I would like to cancel my membership with your referral services. Please confirm to me you will terminate my membership and make the appropriate refund for the monthly fees to me at your earliest convenience. Thanks

I had a half-bath whose faucet was old and not working right. Similarly, the shut off valve (under this sink) was old and impossible to turn. I purchased 2 different replacement faucets (from 2 different well-known brands) and started to call plumbers to have this installed. Many did not call me back, some were busy for a few weeks. When I called WW they were available so I scheduled an appointment right away. The rep on the phone explained that their guy would come and assess and give an estimate (free). If I wanted to get the work done he would do it during that same visit, if not they would just leave with no commitments. When the guy arrived (on-time) he seemed very nice and polite. I showed him the sink and the faucets I had purchased and right away he said 'That one is terrible, I will not install that.' and he priced my job based on the other faucet. He explained that the faucet install was 1 price and the shut-off valve was another (and EACH of these were ~$350 to complete). I mentioned an Angie's List coupon (buy one service, get one half-off) and he said I could use that. I really thought the price was ridiculous (~$650 total) but no other plumbers were calling me back and I could not offer my guests a bathroom without a sink so I agreed to do the job. The guy proceeded to install the faucet and the valve. In the middle of the job, I confirmed with him that the job includes all new material from the shut-off valve to the faucet - he said 'Yes'. During the install of the faucet (now this was a basic faucet!) he started banging things, making heavy sighs & sounds and then told me that there was something wrong with my sink that was preventing the faucet from being installed right so he needed another guy to come to help him. He also pointed out that it's jobs like this that justify their high prices. The other guy came and (from what I saw) just watched him complete the install. At the end, he told me that he wasn't able to tighten a mount all the way (under the sink) so he just secured it with caulk and that it will be OK. I was so happy that he was finally done (after 3+ hours) that I just said 'Fine'. After he left, I noticed that he did not provide me with a new trap, instead he used my old one (so much for the job including all new material). Also, as I used the faucet that first day, I realized that he installed the faucet incorrectly since the plunger (the plug that blocks the drain so you can fill the sink) cannot be pushed down (as hard as I push, it will not move and plug the sink). I am terribly disappointed in the quality of their service and the fact that this guy lied to me 2x (he did not give me new material and he did not tell me about the plug not working). Shame on me for agreeing to pay for this and not calling them back to complain but frankly, I just wanted them out of my house for good. He was so full of excuses and hot-tempered that I figured I'd be lied to again or told I was wrong. This was such a basic plumbing job - imagine if it were more complex? I will not use them again nor do I recommend their work..

The first time they came out, they checked up on my heating and they recommended some changes, which we did. The work they did on my sink turned out okay. The workers were okay. I'm not giving an "A" to the company, though. They're on the high end of pricing. They told me it was a little less than $200, and I said, "fine." The first time after they did work for me and increased the amount of work to do, I ended up paying them like $700, for their work. About a month later, my boiler wasn't working and they said I needed to get a new boiler. So then I had to get a new boiler, but they didn't give much of a credit for the $700 I paid the month before. The workers did great, but I think the company cheated me. I felt I was between a rock and a hard place. It was getting into winter and starting to get cold. I thought it was going to be a repair problem or something quick, but they said I needed a new boiler. You can wait and look at other prices and freeze in the meantime, or you're forced to do it with them. I was forced to do it at that point, because I didn't know what else to do. We needed heat. They did the job that same day, but I got killed with the price. I'll be using them in the future because they've got me on a contract.

it went very well - professional service

We have a 4 year old system (entire system was a new install when we moved into the house) that was not blowing cold air last year - the company that installed it (NOT Waterworks) came out and recharged the system but blamed us saying we kicked off the cap on the compressor which of course we didn't. We have had problems with this company and the system since the install (leaking/ no cold air etc) so we were looking for a reliable, honest, professional company to replace them. Waterworks was all of this and more! The initial call to the office was excellent! Very cheerful and professional, she asked all of the right questions, and overall I felt that she really understood what was going on. She promised to send one of their best techs out and they were able to schedule me within a few days (impressive since it in the height of everyone's busy season). They sent out Frank, and as promised, they called me 30 min prior to his arrival so that I could meet him at the house (and not lose a day of work!) -again just shows that they go the extra step to work with their clients! Frank arrived on time and was simply EXCELLENT. He diagnosed the problem (leak), recharged the system and told us what we need to do going forward (come back for a further diagnosis/add sealer etc.). But at least he got us up and running for now! He also gave us helpful tips about using the proper air filters so that we would maximize airflow and just basic, general maintenance tips. Frank also took the time to make sure I knew where on the system to look for problems that needed immediate attention (like frost/icing on certain pipes) and that I understood how the system in my house actually worked. I got a better education from Frank than the people that installed it! I can't say enough about how AWESOME this company is and how impressed I was with Frank. Completely night and day from the initial company that we used. I really wished we would have found Waterworks when we moved here and used them from the beginning! We will definitely be calling them back to research/seal the leak! Thanks again to the Waterworks team - we really appreciate you taking care of us! Anyone looking for a reliable/professional A/C company - look no further!

They were very good initially, especially when called, sent a technician right away to look at the issue. They were also good at using a little camera to see what was going on and finding the leaky pipe. Our main issue with them was the price. It was very expensive for the amount of work it took (about 45 min, when originally they had said it would take much longer). Overall, the work done seemed to be fine and of quality, but I don't think we will use them again due to the price.

It went well overall. Since my boiler did not have any major issue they suggested that I should install smoke alarm in the basement.

The guys that came here were nice. They tried to unclog a toilet and had a tough time doing it. They rolled through my house tires filled with snake wires that stained my carpet. They eventually got the clog out and the toilet worked. However a few month later the same toilet started to leak from the bottom as they forgot to seal it so it would not leak. What is annoying is when I called back to let them know the women who answered the phone did not seem to interested in helping me and told me that all her tech were out and she wouldn't be able to get here until the next day.

They fixed a shower leak as well the drain in the tub because you had to hold it down in order for it to drain. I asked them if they could install a filter I already purchased for the sink, the estimate they gave was extremely high. Plumbing in general seems to be very expensive.

I was extremely pleased with the service from beginning to end. I contacted them through Angie's List and got a prompt reply. They were very accommodating with scheduling. Brian was our service technician. He was friendly, knowledgeable and neat. He was not pushy with selling other services or an annual contract. He advised of options and recommendations. They honored their Angie's list promotion. Regardless of the promotional cost, their fee was more than reasonable compared to other companies I considered. I could not be more pleased with Water Works and highly recommend them.

Professional on time neat nice

I was very pleased with the service I received. Luis is the technician that provided my service and I found him very professional, understanding and knowledgeable in his field. He exemplifies what customer service is truly about.

They came out and took a look at the unit and told me it might need some oil. He didn't have any with him, so I actually had to go buy it myself. I'm not exactly sure what I got for the $49, but they were on time and professional enough. I'm not sure if it was worth the money, so I don't necessarily recommend the Deal.

I was not impressed. Their fees are extremely high. The man had an attitude. I felt at every turn that everything had to be done.

The plumber was great and he explained everything that needed to get done and what to expect in the future. He even took me on a tour of my house/yard to explain water softner technique, French drains, and the type of water heater I will need in the future. He was very thorough.

They did an outstanding job, They were open on a Sunday and Bill got there courtesy, professional, he went above and beyond. He also cleaned up very good afterwards. It was just an awesome experience with these guys

They called right away and we made an appointment. They showed on time, very professional. I will be using them for future plumbing work.

The technician was wonderful and efficient. The ladies in the office were so diligent in getting the time right for me as I was in and out all day. I appreciated their coordination and had not dealt with such a proactive office before-will definitely call again for plumbing services.

The plumber was punctual, knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with. He presented me with all the different options and costs. All charges were in line with my expectations and there were now surprises. I will definitely use Water Works in the future.
