I woke up to find my water heater leaking so I placed a call to Rickert Plumbing. To my surprise, they answered immediately and the friendly voice on the other end said they could come out to take a look at the water heater the same day. They gave me a time frame between 11am -1pm. Once they arrived, Jason and Noah took a look and explained in detail what was wrong and told me I needed a new water heater. They gave me options and took the time to explain in detail every thing I needed to know to make an informed decision. They got the job done quickly and were meticulous about cleaning the work area as they worked. Both Jason and Noah were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I’m extremely thankful for these two guys who I didn’t know before today but will be a customer for life. Thank you guys for a job well done! Highly recommended!! 👍🏻

We selected Rickert Plumbing after we had seen the professionalism and skill-sets they brought to a recent job in a plumbing emergency we had at our home. We decided to get the entire sewer replaced from (as it turned out) underneath our home out to the street. It was found that at a critical juncture, the sewer pipes had not been correctly joined when the house was built, and one pipe was not totally inserted into the other, which of course compounded other problems that were found. I inspected the faulty pipes myself. I can't believe we didn't have more problems that we had over the years...All the people who showed up yesterday coordinated their efforts so that a thorough, expeditious, and exceptional job was done, and that our family was inconvenienced as little as possible. I cannot say enough about Jay & Noah and those they had working with them, especially the father/son excavator team.The city inspector said an excellent job had been done. I highly recommend them. Here is a list of what was done yesterday July 31, 2018: SCOPE: - Remove rocks, shrubs, tree, & bricks from around porch area. ( to be saved and replanted if possible ) - Cut and remove concrete side walk at curb and reinstalled. ( MAY SETTLE ) - Excavate down to and expose existing sewer main. - Cut out and remove existing sewer main from porch ( up stream clean out ) to curb ( down stream clean out ). - Supply and install new 4’’ PVC with all related fittings including 2 new 4’’ PVC 2-way tees with clean outs at current locations. - Provide plumbing and inspection. - Dispose of all trash and debris. - Tested and checked for leaks and proper function. All pipe is now properly pitched and flowing properly at this time. No leaks were found. Extras performed ( Not initially included in the above scope of work ) - Removed existing 3’’ ABS pipe from inside of basement, & under porch. - Removed concrete block wall as needed to receive new pipe sleeve. - Installed new 4’’ PVC sleeve through concrete block walls from porch exterior to basement interior with approved rubber couplings. - Applied “ HYDROLIC CEMENT ‘’ to both interior and exterior penetrations. - Installed new 3’’ PVC pipe and related fittings in basement and reconnected to existing 3’’ ABS drain line. - Installed new 3’’ CLEAN OUT WYE in basement. Today while I was caring for my two toddler grandchildren, our entire plumbing system backed up and went south, the basement started flooding, and I was desperate for professional assistance. Thank God for Jay Rickert. He agreed to visit my house in under an hour, and he was true to his word. He quickly assessed the situation and implemented a working resolution, giving us tips for how to get our old builder-grade sewer pipes evaluated and then possibly upgraded if necessary. He was also very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Rickert's Plumbing and cannot say enough about how good his service is.

Contacted Rickert Plumming and spoke with Jason immediately. They were at a location close by and were at my residence within 30 minutes. Both Jason and Noah were were professional, fair in their price and did an awesome job !!! I would highly recommend them for any plumbing issues that you may have.

It went very well

I called Jason to see what his schedule was and explained the issue I was having with constantly hearing water running from my upstairs toilet. He said he would be out in the morning. He called the next day to make sure I was home, and was here within 15 minutes. Came in checked out the situation, and we talked about replacing another part and not just the flap as it too was showing signs of deterioration. I said we might as well get it done now since he was here and it would save me a call later down the road. He was in and out in about an hour. He has been here on several other occasions to install my kitchen faucets and re-routed my waterlines in the crawl space when I re-did my kitchen. He is now my go to guy for all plumbing repairs or needs we have. He is dependable, reliable, and extremely reasonable with his pricing. I highly recommend anyone to give him a call, as he will not disappoint you.

We were 1st time customers, and needed help fast. My wife called Rickert`s plumbing on Thursday morning, and Jay was able to schedule us for that afternoon. I got a call from Jay, around 10:30 asking if they could come by in about a half hour, which worked out perfect. Jay and a helper arrived, checked out what was needed and got to work. Less than an hour later the drain was clear, everything was cleaned up, and everybody was happy. I will certainly give Jay a call with my future plumbing needs, and wouldn`t hesitate to recommend him to anyone in the area looking for a reliable plumber.

Fantastic, he was on time, very curtious,gaveme a estimate and returned with everything he needed to do the job. He completed the job in the scheduled time he said he would,and everything was cleaned up and in working order. We were never completely out of a working toilet.

Jason arrived at the scheduled time and completed the work in a professional manner. We had previously called on him to complete the plumbing in a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom. All challenges were met in a professional manner; on time, fairly priced and with a personable attitude. We would highly recommend him.

Jay and his worker(Noah) were extremely professional, explained exactly what needed to be done and why and gave me the price for the job. They arrived timely with all the needed material, did a professional job and left the area cleaned up. Extremely pleased with service. As a homeowner and real estate investor Jay is my go to guy for plumbing.
