If I were just grading Ricardo, the owner, I would have given all A's. He was professional, polite, prompt and was very good at explaining exactly what installing the drainage system would entail. He even had a video on his laptop showing what everything would look like before, during and after the process. This was helpful. He also said he participates in the work while the job is performed. This made me feel more confident in his company. (He was there most of the time but did leave for several hours on the first day. The second day he was there the whole time.) By the way, I did NOT choose one of your other highly rated waterproofing companies because a salesman came to do the estimate and was not someone who actually performs the work. To me, there is a big difference. You said you wanted all the details, so here it is: I lowered the grades on Quality and Professionalism due to SOME of his workers. They were suppose to wrap the small pile of my belongings with plastic wrap but didn't. Instead they used one of MY tarps and loosely threw it over the top. As a result, many of the items on the bottom of the pile got cement dust on them. I wish they had covered the washer, dryer, sink, toilet, furnace (it was off). These are all fairly new appliances and got a layer of cement dust inside and outside of them when all the drilling was going on. They dislocated the exhaust pipe to the hot water heater. (I easily put it back in position though) On the first day, ONE of the workers (4 total plus Ricardo) was kind of creepy. He would always look away as if he didn't want anyone to see his face. He frowned anytime I saw him. However, the second day all the workers were polite and normal.. Ricardo had said he was going to power wash the floors, but didn't. However he cleared my patio of fallen leaves which was nice. These are minor issues and had nothing to do with the main project, but did tarnish the glowing opinion I originally had. Over all, I was very happy with the work and would hire them again. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a French Drain. If you tell them specifically to cover your stuff, I bet they would.

Riccardo is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was punctual, responsive, diligent and forthright. His fee was reasonable compared to other estimates we received and he provided more services than any of the other companies we interviewed at no additional cost. He completed the job quickly and left the basement in pristine condition. He was on time for all appointments. He also started and completed the work on schedule. We used one of the larger basement waterproofing companies for our previous home, however Riccardo's services and workmanship were far superior. I would urge the reader to at least interview Carlos if you are in need of basement waterproofing services. I would certainly consider enagaging his services for other projects as well.

The owner and his crew were outstanding. These guys work hard and they did a great job.After they were done, you couldn't even see that there was any construction work performed.They cleaned and put everything back as it was! I recommend Rika Construction.
