NEIGHBORHOOD PAINTING

This company painted my office building where I am a tenant on the second floor. My landlord hired them. The first problem occurred when they first started the job. They took off all of the screens to clean the windows and frames and then tried to leave without reinstalling the screens. This meant that I couldn't open my windows without insects and other things coming in. I stopped them before they left and demanded that they reinstall the screens in several of the windows. They reluctantly agreed and seemed annoyed. They came back a few days later and started and completed the painting. They supposedly reinstalled the screens, but incorrectly installed the screens in different windows from which they originally came. After they left, one screen fell out, another one is about to fall out and two others are installed badly. I called my landlord, and then the company. After many calls, the only response I received from Neighborhood Painting was in a voicemail in which they lied about the screens rusting (they're aluminum, which doesn't rust) and that they would give me an estimate to reinstall the screens that they had incompetently reinstalled. What a ripoff! They lied about the rust and then want to charge for what they screwed up from the beginning. I would never use this company to do anything. Consumer Beware!

Although Matt's estimate was higher than other vendors, I had heard such great things about his company's work from our brokers. We considered the old phrase "you get what you pay for." We were right. Matt's team are perfectionists and the work they did in our house is outstanding. It's really all about the initial prep and they went above and beyond. I could not recommend this company enough for any of your painting needs. They are really nice, helpful, professional and take pride in their work.

Matt H was recommended by our realtor as well as by the local hardware store. We could not be happier with our choice. His crew worked through a very large job in a very short amount of time (due to our own time constraints) - they worked through the weekend and very long days. The quality of the work was top notch and Matt (and his crew leader Joe) were very supportive of fixing any small cleanup matters that needed addressing. His pricing was also fair - in line with other quotes we received. Moreover Matt is also a very fair, responsive and honorable person - he is someone you can trust. Matt and his team are very well respected and regarded in the Westfield community and we feel that we could not have made a better choice going with him and his team.

.We have used Neighborhood Painting before and had a good experience . Matt, the owner came to give us an estimate and we set up an approximate date depending on weather and how his schedule was going. The job was pushed back a couple of weeks and Matt was easy to get contact and kept us informed. His crew arrived on the date at 8:00 am. and set up equipment, drop clothes to cover our bluestone patio and front porch. We wanted special care so as not to damage some of the antique fragile windows with the power washing and also we were concerned about our shrubs and plants near the house. They thoroughly powerwashed the house, let it dry for a day or so, then proceeded to sand the house and trim where needed.They caulked around the windows, and took special care to not damage the fragile ones. The trim was very carefully painted, and since the house is tudor, the trim was a dark brown and there is alot of it but they were very careful and precise. The rest of the house was done in about a day, and the whole job was completed in alittle over a week with them working steadily except for a rain day. We were very pleased with the whole experience. Matt is friendly and easy to deal with and the crew were polite and good workers. We would hire them again!

Unbelievably fast, efficient, and effective. The bathroom looks great.

They are the best around and we have used several companies over the years. Now we would use only Neighborhood Painting for our needs because of the superior quality of the work and the respect they show for our home.

They did a great job, both on the first major project in 2006 and on this smaller job. Very responsible and professional, with attention to detail. Not cheap, but worth the price for the excellent work.
