 + 2 moreWhen I called Mr. Stefanelli, he came and gave me a written estimate. He was courteous and considerate. He explained the project to me and answered my questions. Compared with other siding salesman, he did not pressure me to make a decision to hire his company and I did not get annoying follow-up calls as I have received from some other companies. When the project began, he informed me when he needed payment and we were able to arrange to meet, although I work full-time and the work was mostly done when I was not home. I am satisfied with the job that was done and the house looks a lot better. I was very pleased that there was no mess after the cleaning crew left.
Description of Work: Mr. Stefanelli's company removed my asbestos shingles and then installed vinyl siding and new gutters and leaders where needed. Additionally, his company installed two new attic windows for me. At the end of the project, they cleaned the area around the house so that there was no debris left. I just had a few remaining vinyl pieces, which I have stored in the garage. At a later time, I asked Mr. Stefanelli to return to repair my garage roof. He came and did the repair, but then Hurricane Sandy did a lot of damage to my trees and my garage. I again called Mr. Stefanelli to look at the garage and will be paying him to fix the garage roof again. There is a piece of wood sticking out of the roof of the garage and that put a hole in it.

 + -1 moreDescription of Work: Persistent recurring leak .Others were unable and unwilling to locate the problem suggesting "maybe" we need a new roof. Mr. Stefanelli found and appears to have corrected the problem. So far it's good. And when the time comes to replace our roof he will be the first person we call.

 + 0 moreThey were timely and very diligent. They did good quality work. They came when they said they were going to come and they did it in a timely manner. He was a very nice man. Somebody else said I needed a whole new roof. He did that I didn't need a whole new roof and it wasn't even where the water was coming in. He said that I needed new gutters and he came quickly to do the work. He said he would watch the roof. I told him that I would give him the business when I need the new roof because of what he did. I felt good about his work. I didn't get any other quotes. I will absolutely consider using them in the future.
Description of Work: I used Robert Stefanelli to install new gutters and do roof work on a little shed in the backyard.

 + 0 moreCalled for several estimates. His price was very competitive. Started and completed the job quickly, in a workman like manner. Selected Stefanelli because he has his own workers and is with them most of the time, which was important to me. They cleaned up after the job was complete and left the job site as they found it. Plain talking, pleasant, honest and reliable. I would use him again.
Description of Work: Installed new roof, over existing roof. Additionally, installed new screen door, which I purchased, and shutters. Also, removed some existing siding, repaired/replaced flashing underneath and replaced siding.
