The guys were pretty professional. I feel like there were some scheduling issues at first but overall the jobs were done in a timely manner.. Upgrading of the panel and now tying in a generator switch panel is comforting with all the crazy weather and power outages we have had over the past several years. When they labeled the panel there were a few mistakes that I have had to correct but for the price they did a great job.

I called this morning, Miguel answered directly, I explained the scope of work, Miguel quoted the price and confirmed the appointment. His guys came on time, they were perfectly nice and completed the job quickly and cleaned up when finished. Admittedly not the most complicated project, but a pleasure dealing with courteous professionals. I plan on using this company in the future and hope they can be my go to electricians. Thank you!

MDL was the first to contact me in the morning following a late night email of a few electricians to replace an outdoor electrical outlet. They came when expected and there was no fee just to come and look at things. MDL then got the necessary parts and in no time the outlet was replaced. There was one other person (two total) and he was just as friendly and professional. $150 for labor (service call price) plus $35 for parts.

These guys are friendly, punctual, personable and respectful. They are very fairly priced and always keep their work area neat and tidy. I highly recommend them for their professionalism, punctuality and high quality of work.

Miguel and his people were on time, courteous and professional throughout the entire project. He was very fair on the price. The quality of the work was great, so far so good! Annabella in the office was very easy to get a hold of on the phone to help answer any scheduling questions I had and is very sweet and helpful!

As always, Miguel was prompt and thorough in his evaluation and proposal. Work was performed as scheduled, with attention to detail and neatness. Very pleased with all MDL's work.

Miguel arrived about an hour late for our scheduled walk through but proved to be pleasant and knowledgeable. Overall the meeting went well with Miguel promising to email us his proposal & bid for the project. He did just that the next morning we had the proposed scope of the work and the bid. The following week on a Friday we notified Miguel by email that we were ready to begin the project. Monday Miguel called our home and was informed by my son that we were on a short holiday and would contact him upon our return Thursday of that same week. On Thursday we called his number and discovered his mailbox was full and unable to take messages, I then sent him an email informing him of our desire to begin the work. He did not respond. Several days later I sent him another email and received no response. It's as if the company fell off the face of the earth.

I think their price was too high. They were good and they were cordial. They were as expected to be.

MDL kept me informed during the entire process. They are knowledgeable, hard working and professional. Miguel and his crew are excellent. Will them in the future.

He was very quick to come give an estimate. He didn't give me very much detail about how he would do the work, which led to me have many questions and choose another company. Anyhow, his estimate was right on with several others I received.

Work was done competently, on time, and at a fair price

They came out within a half an hour of my call. They did the work that they said they would. They told me the prices before anything was fixed. They seemed very honest, I would highly recommend them.

Very responsive! I called Christmas Eve and not only did someone pick up phone but he was able to come over to check out problem within hour! And I was very pleasantly surprised that prices weren't jacked up because of the holiday! The electrician came in and assessed the situation (dimmer needed replacing) and corrected quickly.

We entered into contract on 8/21. Due to problems with insufficient gas service to the dwelling ultimately, we had to wait until November 12th to begin the generator installation. The real issue we had to wait for PSE&G to install a larger service. The job was difficult because the gas and electric service are on opposite sides of the house, and the gas meter is inside the house. There were evergreens in the approved area so they had to remove a tree to install the generator pad. Nevertheless the MDL crew worked tirelessly to ensure a proper installation. I am very picky and suspect of contractors (there are so many BAD ones in this area) to begin with but Miguel remained in contact with me and kept me apprised every step of the way. MDL is a family owned business and each member exhibits the same pride and dedication to quality as Miguel. There were issues with the site survey so the permits were delayed. There were issues with the gas service location and size so we were hard pressed for a viable solution. In the end, due to installation challenges we settled on the originally recommended solution. Final inspection isn?t for another few weeks so we haven?t had the opportunity to test the system however I am confident that it will function as expected. He also upgraded another circuit panel in the basement and addressed a wiring issue with one of the zones for my gas heat I purposely omitted the price for the job which was outstanding and Pre Sandy however I do believe his Post Sandy price will be exponentially better than the local competitions Pre Sandy price. So when he quotes you his price just remember the days of darkness and the long lines you waited in to get gasoline to keep that LOUD Portable Generator operational. Although I don?t foresee any additional electrical projects for a while but when needed, MDL Electric will be the only company I call.

Excellent company ... they owner came out to the house the same day I called and then sent his men to do the work the following day. What should have been an easy outlet repair/replacement wound up being a major repair job since the wire insulation practically disintegrated once the cover was removed. The electricians took their time to do the job right, and because of this I now feel more comfortable with that particular outlet in the house. I also had them install a new overhead light and switch in one of the room, and the electrician ensured that he checked with me on desired length of light extension. They offer some of the best pricing out there, too!

Every thing went well from start to finish. Issac showed up 45 minutes after my initial call and was knowledgeable and courteous and solved my electrical problem.

They are super! They came immediately after we requested them, which is a different response than we've received from others. Miguel came out and gave us an estimate and has been great to work with. We had the paneling in the basement removed because of mold, so he's doing the electrical part of the project to repair it. He's also installing a stand-by generator so that our sump-pump will never goes out again! His pricing is very fair.

All in all I was looking for a contractor for several months as the wife and I wanted to remodel our kitchen. It had old appliances, still the same cabinets as when the house was built. The kitchen tiling was horrendous. So we got several estimates and we chose a contractor. The contractor could not do our job for reasons I'm still unclear about. So I was on facebook looking for a contractor and ran across a few so I friended all of them and Miguel answered back literally within minutes. We talked for a bit and within a few days I got an estimate and shortly afterwards he was actually doing the project for us. I recommend them to anyone and I think they did a great job.

This was someone who was referred to me by a family friend. Basically I had an addition done to my house and have had very extensive work done to my house over the last year or so. I met with Miguel who is the company owner of MDL Electric. Miguel was extremely friendly when he met with me. I needed work done to an office I set up as part of my addition. Now I know nothing about electrical work and I had 2 other price quotes, but one electrician wanted to charge me over $4,500! Obviously looking to take advantage of the fact I knew nothing. The other Electrician quoted me around the same price as Miguel but I went with MDL Electric because Miguel was very extensive and detailed about the work being done. I highly recommend working with this company as your electrician. It's hard to find companies that are fair priced and who will do a great job. I will call them for future projects I have.
