MDL Electric LLC Cooling & Heating

This went fine. I got their name from someone who used them for the same job. They are personable and efficient. I think they are also a family business. In addition to the generator which I never really got to use, they recommend servicing yearly for about $150. I did not want to be without power for many days as we were in the northeast several years ago. I also did not want to handle a portable generator and the gas. If I had any complaint at all, it was that it was difficult to reach them to do small jobs. I would use them again and felt comfortable having them in my home.

Isaac and his team were very professional and personable. They did an OUTSTANDING job mounting both Chandeliers in our nursery and master bedroom. it was absolutely flawless! They were able to work around my husband and I's crazy schedule and provided a free estimate. They also made great suggestions for things we didn't think off. we already hired them again to come back to do a few more things within our condo...They are awesome.

THEY GET THE PERMIT FROM TOWN THEY DID THE JOB THERE WS A PROBLEM WITH INSPECTION AND THEY NEVER GET BACK TO FIX THE ISSUE

We had some outlets in the kitchen that had not been working since we moved in. MDL came by and provided an estimate. They sent someone over who resolved the issues the next day. They were punctual, friendly and honest. The actual service call took about 2 hours. They were happy to answer any of our questions, We would work with them again.

Job went very good. They did everything professionally, with good quality, and were respectful and clean. All their technicians seemed knowledgeable, and gave useful advise. They checked the outside fixture on their first visit. After few days, they were happy to come back and install new fixture for me, because fixture needed to be changed (without any charges to me for the second trip).

Excellent. Once I contacted them they were very responsive. Miguel came out to do a quote and then came back just a few hours later for this small job. They were professional, quick and cleaned up after they were done. Would definitely use them again.

MDL Electric Principal Miguel De Leon and his staff were prompt, attentive and professional in the coordination of all three phases of the generator Installation project. From Permitting, Plumbing, coordination with the Utility Company and the final electrical installation, they were communicative and responsive. They also completed side electrical projects at a fair value.

The whole experience with Miguel is pretty nice. I haven't had any tenants occupy the apartment. So I don't know how it goes. However if I had another job, I definitely will call them again.

Perfect; on time for assessment. Coordinated repairs with local contact. Advised owner of status and did walk through when all repairs completed.

How'd it go? It went fantastic. Not only was Miguel and his team transparent on the phone with services and prices, but he even moved our appointment up a day to take care of our needs. The service was quick, efficient, and the entire time the team was out doing our repairs kept me in the loop on what was being repaired. I have used other electricians in the past, but MDL will be my go-to for anything electrical for my home. Couldn't be happier. Thanks guys!

It does not get better than this. The electrician arrived on schedule and the work went smoothly and quickly. It was a very fair price for superior service.

MDL are very knowlegeble and helpful. They treat you with respect, explain all the details of their work and do a first rate job at a reasonable price. I will be hiring them again in the near future.

Everyone was very punctual with their work. When I spoke with them, everything was discussed in detail - this included the work to be done, pricing and the time estimate when the project would be finished. They also worked with a contractor to accommodate the layout of the school. When I had any issues with the outlets or heating, they came the next day to figure out the problem and stayed until the issue was fixed. They are definitely reliable and I would be willing to use them again.

Luis came to my home and checked all of my outlets, my electrical panel and some of my newly installed wires. He thoroughly explained all of the work that needs to be done in my home. He also went over some ideas for new projects I would like to have completed in my home. He was professional, patient, and very knowledgable.

MDL was wonderful to work with. They'd previously done work on our house that was executed well and priced fairly. This was a bigger job...because of the way the 2nd story floor joists were positioned, MDL ended up having to do a done of cutting in to the ceiling, running new wires and re-patching. They did a great job with the electrical work and the patching was completed incredibly quickly. MDL worked with me on price and, when we changed our mind about the trim kits for the recessed lighting, they went the extra mile to get us what we wanted. A couple more drop clothes and a little extra elbow grease on the clean up would go along way (thus the "B" for quality), but ultimately we were very happy with the work and won't hesitate to use MDL again. On a personal note, all of the MDL guys are courteous, friendly and enjoyable to be around. They interacted with our little kids and made a messy, loud experience easy for our young family.

Called MDL to our property for an assessment of work to be done. They came in the morning. I called back just after noon to see if they had any feedback, Louis said I will be hearing from them in the afternoon. The next day after not hearing from them, I called again in the morning. Louis says he has someone else on hold and he will call me back. Nothing by 4pm. I ended up having to engage another electrician. How does this company get such positive reviews and stay in business?

I am so happy that I found MDL electric. When it comes to wires, this is something that I just cannot do myself or have a family member help with. I always need to call a professional for jobs like this, and that's exactly what i got. This is a local family run business and i could not be happier with the service. 2 brothers came to my house and they were polite, professional, and courteous. Even though the job took longer than they expected, they happily honored the quote that was given. I highly recommend MDL because you will get quality service for a fair and honest price!

Miguel and his staff were fantastic. They came on a Friday to do the whole house inspection deal that I purchase on Angie's list. He went through three floors of my home, which had numerous problems because of the work that the previous owner did on the house. He was very nice and professional. We made plans for him to email me an estimate and come back to work on the house that Monday. About a 1/2 hour after he left, I started have a problem with one of my breakers. It was making a hissing noise and the lights were going on and off. I call Miguel on his cell and, even though he was on his way down South Jersey for another job, he made arrangements to come back to my house to check out what was happening. He then even made emergency plans to come to my house on Saturday and start the work. Miguel and his staff came to my house on four occasions and each time, they were there promptly. We were always in telephone contact during the times I had to go to work. Miguel did a fantastic, professional, thorough job on all the issues I had. His prices are very reasonable and everyone that works with him are also wonderful and professional. Their work was amazing. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs work done. I also found out that he does other services, i.e. generators, solar panels, kitchen and bathrooms, and I will definitely be calling him back to do other jobs on my home. Thank you Miguel and crew for everything!!!!

I called MDL to come by the house for an estimate. They were late, however, I changed the times on them a few days prior so despite the fact that a simple time change shouldn't throw off their game, I'm willing to ignore that. The guy that showed up was nice enough and took his time with me. He said he'd compute an estimate and get back to me. He never did. I even called a week or two later and left a voicemail requesting it (not that I would ever hire them at that point since if they can't be bothered to get my money, lord knows they won't do any work once they already have it) as I wanted to know if another estimate we got was in the ballpark. To this day, no phone call, no estimate, nothing. I don't get why a company would waste time at someone's house and then not get them the estimate. It's a pure loss for them. Poor management is all I can come up with. Anyway, they wasted my time and their own, so obviously, I can't recommend them to anyone.

Explained what I wanted to get done and they provided a qoute over the phone. After agreeing to have the job done they came the next day to look over the area of where the install was going to take place later in the week. Everything went well except the day of when I had to call them after they were 20mins late to verify if the job was still on. They explained the electrician was tied up at another job because there were issues. They wanted to reschedule and I was not happy about it because I had to take time off of work that i will not be getting back. It would have been different if they called in advance to notify me. I had to end the call with them to decide what i wanted to do. Surprisingly they called me back in ~30mins and assigned someone else to do the install. Either way I'm glad they were able to have someone come by that day to do the install even though it was not at the designated time. This was probably one of those off moments that bound to happen. Overall I think they did a job with the install. The price was fair. I would reuse them again.

Luis replaced and re-installed all of our hard-wired smoke detectors. From estimate to installation, everything went perfectly. Would absolutely recommend and use them again

Miguel was very responsive to Angie's list messaging. He was able to come in on Saturday early AM. He took off shoes when walking within the house. He identified the problem and fixed it quickly. There are also some issues he could not fix on the spot because it would require buying some lights and accessories. For the issues I could fix myself, he gave good advice and for other issues he gave detailed estimate.

Miguel came out to explain the project and how it would proceed. He was careful to explain all of the what/how/why questions I had. He was very professional the entire time, and followed-up with me (but not overly so). In the end, I chose another dealer for my project, but I got a good impression from MDL and did strongly consider them.

Miguel & his crew have been to my house several times since we moved in over the winter. They have updated many areas of our home and added lighting and updated old fixtures for us. They also added outdoor power for low voltage lighting systems and a koi pond. Migues is very responsive and the communication with is office is excellent. His crew is efficient, polite and the leave the area neat & tidy. I will be calling them again in the near future to discuss additional projects, including a generator. I would highly recommend MDL Electric!
