This was an awful experience with Kelly's electric! I had an urgency to get this Job completed, and the soonest they could give me an appointment was nearly 1 week out! They would not give me a definiteTimes slot, but only a window from 2 to 4 PM! On the day of the appointment they called and left a message wanting to meet four hours earlier, and wanted to meet within 30 minutes of leaving the message! The message was retrieved One hour after they left it, and I called to tell them I could not accommodate an earlier appointment!therefore, Kelly's electric cancelled my appointment that was scheduled during the window between 2 to 4 PM., told me they could not accommodate the appointment because they were going to send their electrician on another job, and could only give me a next appointment 10 days later! I told the scheduler this was unacceptable, that they had altered my scheduled appointment time and should accommodate a customer! I asked them to meet me at the close of the day and the scheduler said "we don't do that !" She then put me on hold and then hung up the phone, She never tried to contact me thereafter!

He can and tested the outlet. It was not working so he replaced it.

The service was awesome they were on time and got everything done quickly He was so nice and the price was very reasonable. He honored the quote he originally gave me. It was exactly the kind of service you'd want from an electrician.

Initially I purchased an Angie's Big Deal with Code Electric for 2 hours of electrical work. When I called to schedule the work during September 2014 I was told they were no longer honoring the deal even though the deal I purchased did not expire until February 2015. Angie's list tried to find me a comparable replacement deal, of which there were none. So Angie's List refunded what I paid for the Big Deal and sent me a list of highly rated electricians. I selected Kelly Electric Rob from Kelly Electric was on time and did the work as agreed. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely use again and recommend to others. Kelly Electric was not the lowest quote I received for the work but I think it was worth the few extra dollars. (Less than $50) Kelly electric also had a 15% coupon. I needed the work done on a specific day due to my work schedule. So I needed to move quickly. It was nice to be able to speak to a person on the phone when I called instead of leaving a voice mail message and waiting for a return call. Dawn was very helpful. My only suggestion would be having the option to schedule estimates in the evening or weekends. Thanks, Theresa

We had Kelly electric do the electrical work for our kitchen remodel. They were very professional and gave us a really good price. The job took a few days to complete because there was quite a bit of work involved. Kathy called us each day to let us know what time to expect them. They did a really good job and the workers were so polite. I would highly recommend them and would use them again!

Kelly Electrical saved us when time was of the essence. We found ourselves in quite a bind as our attic fan stopped working just days before we were about to sell our house. We called Kelly Electrical at 8pm to help us resolve the problem. The company's emergency electrician answered the call and assured me that his company would definitely be there the next day to replace the fan. True to their word, I received a phone call early the next morning and an electrician came out a few hours later. The electrician was everything you want from a professional: polite, prepared, and knowledgable. He did everything he had to do to get the job done right. I felt confident in the work that was being done -- and with electrical work I need to feel confident. Kelly Electrical was even willing to work with my 2-10 Home Warranty Company, so if you have the 2-10 Home Warranty, I suggest that you request Kelly Electrical to come out for the job. I plan to use this company again. When a company comes to your rescue and doesn't exploit you because you are in a jam, you know for sure that you are dealing with an honest company.

Brian, the service technician, was very punctual. However, I asked for several other things to be done that day and he said he didn't have time to complete them all, which was not my understanding from the person I spoke with in the office. He found the issue with a GFI outlet in my kitchen right away and did a great job replacing it. It has worked great since. As far as the ceiling fan, it came with a hard wired remote. That was installed and it looks real pretty, but when you turn on the fan or the light you also turn on another ceiling fan in my hallway. The only way to operate them independently is to use the chains on the hallway fan. I did not notice this until just recently because when we are closed in the bedroom, no one is on the hall where the other fan is. Somehow he must have tied the new fan into the old one. UPDATE: After having written a prior review, I received a call from the Kelly office. They had read the review and wanted to come and rectify the issue. I said sure and the same technician, Brian, came in just over an hour. He had the issue resolved in under 10 minutes and will be coming back to do some further work in the future. Apparently if you have ceiling fans with remotes, they must all be set to a different frequency or they will control each other. I do appreciate their wanting to address the issue with me personally and they did a great job.

I turned on the lights in my den on Saturday morning and the lamp bulb flared. All the lights and electrical outlets in half of my downstairs went out including my computer and tv. Being the weekend I didn't expect to get service but did contact a person on call who had my information. Unfortunately, I didn't get the actual call until Monday but was able to connect my computer and tv with a heavy duty extension cord to an outlet that was working. Brian came on Monday and did a lot of troubleshooting. He was sure what caused the problem but could not find the outlet that did the deed. He knew the breaker box was fine after testing there so went searching for the outlet culprit. He found the outlet behind a bookcase that had been there for years. I had even forgotten the outlet was there. Brian was persistent and got the bad outlet fixed in no time. Brian has a great deal of knowledge and expertise in electronics. He and Eileen in the office were super considerate of my problem and took action asap. Thank you for everything. So much appreciated when you have great service.
