Dave is very knowledgeable about heating and A/C. Over the past ten years he has put in two A/C units with air handlers… a new boiler and reconfigured the pipes to improve the system and put in a new water heater. Cannot be happier with his work… very personable….reliable…prices are fair… returns my calls and has dropped what he was doing twice over the years to deal with an emergency situation. In my opinion he is the best and I have had several heating A/C companies over the years.. you will not be disappointed,

I called Dave on a Saturday morning. He arrived soon after and assessed the problem. He went to get a part and came back to install it. All done before noon and it cost me only $218.00. Next time I have a problem, he'll be my first call.

David did an excellent job installing my Honeywell remote controlled thermostat. Then he helped me sync it to my house wireless. Total professional and great service!

I called Dave based on his Angie's List reviews and he said he could come over in one hour that very same day! I described the problem and he believed the furnace needed a new ignitor. He came over, replaced the ignitor, cleaned the flame sensor, removed the filter, and checked the combustion chamber oil. After his work the furnace worked again! Dave saved the day. From the time I called him to the time he left, he had our heat working in less than two hours total! Unbelievably fast. His prices were very reasonable and he offered a discount for Angie's List customers. I was afraid going into this process that whoever we called would try to push us into buying a new furnace. Not Dave, he was extremely professional, trustworthy, and punctual. I believe other vendors and large "chain" businesses would have charged more. I would HIGHLY recommend using Dave if you have any heating problems at all. I will be calling him again if we ever have another problem.

Turned on the AC on the first hot day of the season and although it was running it was just not blowing out cold air. I've had some hit and miss experiences with AC companies in the past so this time I went and checked Angie's List and read the reviews on a few different companies. I decided to call Dave Bokay Service. Dave answered the phone and after discussing the issue he offered to come out the next morning. My schedule was really full for the next few days so he actually made time to come over the same afternoon. After checking the compressor and adding Freon it seemed like the issue was resolved but there was also an unexpected issue with the air handler that Dave soon took care of and then the cool air was flowing back into the house. Dave is both professional, friendly and easy to talk with. As my AC system is older I will be looking to replace it in the near future and will be discussing those plans with Dave. I highly recommend Dave Bokay Service.

I've used Dave for my heating and air conditioning annual check-up and service for a few years now. He typically answers the phone when I call, is available within a week or two and seems very knowledgeable. I have not used him for repairs. I have no complaints or concerns with how he handles the servicing.

I woke up in the morning to having no heat and realized the furnace wasn't firing. I called Dave a little after 7:00 am and he said he could be here at 9:30 am. He arrived right on time. He quickly determined what the problem was and said he had to run out and get the part. He returned promptly with the part, exactly when he said he would. He replaced the igniter and cleaned the flame sensor and burners while he was in there. Dave is very professional, courteous, thorough, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. While talking with Dave there was no doubt that he knows what he is doing. I was extremely impressed especially after dealing with so many bad contractors in my life. His price was very fair and reasonable. I will definitely call Dave for any future HVAC or electrical work. .

Dave came the next day as promised and replaced the expansion tank, relief valve, 2 air vents, back flow fill valve and a couple of other parts. Dave originally installed this boiler about 10 years ago and it has performed fine all these years. He also installed a new air condition system about 5 years ago. I asked about including a hot air heating system as a back-up to my primary radient and baseboard heat and he investigated that and found that it would work. I now have the security of having back-up heat if one system should fail in the middle of winter. Dave always keeps appointments as scheduled and gives accurate estimates. He works carefully and leaves the work area in perfect condition.

Dave was knowledgeable, thorough and professional. Recommended a whole house humidifier which we are considering. Will use him for our airc onditioner service in the spring.
