Was not aware of the issues if the tank failed, which most do. Over $4000 more for EPA paperwork and testing.

Beware, they will give you one quote (which is low), then, they will add additional costs that they put in the contract to charge you more... like $20.00 per sign, i.e. do not park. $200.00 dollars for a permit and $50.00 to pick it up. It goes on and on. Until 2,100 goes to 3,057. Then, 2 days later, guess what? They bill you again. The nightmare that keeps on giving. Did I mention that I am 64 years old?

Total refreshing - high quality customer service and work. I was led thru an unfamiliar process. We had an oil tank in the ground and then discovered we had a septic tank from 1944 that no one knew about. Not a problem. All I had to do was commit to have them do the work. They did all the rest, including answering all my questions and there were a lot. Thanks to all of you. I have my yard back, and no questions of it being a safe place for the kids to play. And my family to relax. Much appreciated.

It is hard to rate value to money as removing an in ground tank is a must not an option. At the end I was satisfied. I just go back to the time I argued unsuccessfully with the builder when he put the tank underground!

Great job, oil tank worries removed. Complex process in NJ. but they did the heavy lifting, Now we can sell the home, with the paper trail that proves the correct procedure was performed! All this at a price less than some of the competion. Even provided the paper work that may, someday, provide grant money for the procedure.

Sterling Environmental Services removed an oil tank from my basement. They secured the permits, removed the tank and took it away. They came when they said they would and did not make a mess. All communication was via email. The steps could have been a little more clearly explained but they did a great job and I would unhesitatingly recommend them.

Sterling was a great company to hire and they got the job done fast, CLEAN, and without reservation. I had the tank removed during winter months and during the Christmas week and they had no problem with the schedule. They applied for the permits and kept me up to date. I am only waiting on the final sign-off for the permit. Cost was reasonable.

They got back to me quickly and professionally. Once the followup was scheduled they took care of all the necessary permits and inspections. They explained everything before, during and after the work from the start all the way to the completion. They also cleaned up when the work was completed.
