+ -1 moreI knew what I wanted I did not need diagnostics. I gave him the model # and the part I had which needed to be installed. I accepted Moses' price and an appointment was set. No call was made to confirm - I was told between 11:00 AM & 2:00 PM. Moses showed at 4:00. I wasted my day waiting for him. The part was correct. He looked at the machine and said he couldn't do it for the price quoted. He wanted double. He told me I was lucky I didn't owe him anything for a service charge and left. I would not call him again.

+ -1 moreWay over priced for parts that are not costly! Stove needed an igniter and washing machine needed a spinner replacement which cost approximately $20 each. Repairman wanted to charge $600 to repair both! Asked for better pricing since I was getting two appliances repaired, but to no avail. I decided to have stove fixed since that posed the more immediate need. Repairman was condescending and I will not use this company again. I might have considered paying to have both appliances repaired but not to a company who obviously doesn't know that CUSTOMERS are its bread and butter!!

+ -1 moreIt was surprisingly expensive. The repairman was punctual and very professional. He diagnosed the problem and ordered the part we needed to replace. He gave me the price to repair the refrigerator, which was definitely "sticker shock". However, I agreed to it because a new (similar) refrigerator would cost much more. The part took 2-3 business days to arrive, which because of a weekend meant we had to wait a whole week for the repair. When the repairman came to install the new part, he was here less than 30 minutes. I think there was a huge markup for the part as well as the labor. If you use this service, I would suggest you ask for a cost breakdown of parts vs labor, and then independently check the price of the parts. Other than the cost, these guys were great.

+ -1 moreOverall experience was great…very professional and courteous. Called for an appointment and was able to schedule for the next day to repair combination microwave/convection oven and hood. Technician, Jeff, arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem as the blower fan motor and/or the circuit board. Fan motor had to be ordered which took about a week. Received a call when the part arrived and scheduled an appointment for later that same day to install. Todd, the owner, and Jeff arrived and installed the fan motor with no problem. Job did not require both parts. I appreciated their honesty when they installed only the one that was necessary and not both. I would definitely recommend this Company and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

A technician named Jeff cam over, explained clearly and patiently how matters stood: I could replace the temperature gizmo inside, and it was probably going to do the trick (outside chance it wouldn't). The cost was a few hundred, about half the cost of a new stove, so I said OK. Afterwards the temperature still wasn't right, so he came back promptly and without charge made an adjustment which fixed the problem entirely. No additional charge. Jeff was prompt, efficient, courteous, expert, and good at communicating his knowledge. His advice was careful, well-reasoned, and presented with full disclosure of pros and cons. He was clearly there to do a good job, not just make a buck. This was a really good experience, and a job well done.
Description of Work: My oven wouldn't hold a temperature. Some gizmo inside needed to replaced.

+ -1 moreCalled the morning of the appointment to ask for a realistic window of arrival so that I could better plan my day. Was told "between 12–2pm." Repairman showed up at 3pm. Was told that the part I needed was over $500 (for a microwave that retails for $200). I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but that sounds outrageous. Repairman was also sarcastic, which didn't come off as professional to me.
Description of Work: Hired Anytime Appliance Repair to diagnose my microwave oven, which had power, but was not heating food.

+ -1 moreCalled them on a Saturday afternoon, and they came Monday morning and diagnosed the problem as faulty defroster in the freezer; however, it took several days for the part to come in and during that time, the freezer defrosted and the fridge went back to normal temps, so we canceled the service and were told that if it turned out we still required service for the problem in the near future, if we called them back within 30 days our service call fee would still apply towards the service. The fridge had some temp issues, so we called them within the 30 days time period and were told the $85 would NOT be applied to the repair and that the total cost would be $60 more due to a restocking fee from the original part that they ordered and had returned (this additional fee was not mentioned at the time that we called to cancel). After additional phone calls, they finally agreed to apply the $85 to the total repair; however, we still had to pay the re-stocking fee. The technician repaired the fridge quickly and it is working fine now.
Description of Work: Refrigerator repair - freezer was iced up and cold, refrigerator not cooling, very warm.

+ -1 moreI called and specified that the latch broke on my dryer door. I was told that the service call was $85, but only "free" if they do the repair. If you go somewhere else, you have to pay the $85, so they know you're stuck. The owner/technician originally said the part was over $200, so I said I was going to call Whirlpool to check the price. When I showed him that amazon.com had latch kits for under $10, he said that he marks up the parts price, too. Finally, he said the "latch kit" repair was $215, which was $45.75 for the latch kit, $6.75 for another part and $167.50 for the labor. He was in my home a total of 15 minutes. Didn't even have to move the dryer. I told him that I thought his labor charge was outrageous for a 10 minute repair, but he just said they charge a "flat rate" for each repair (can be higher for types of repair). I will never use them again.

+ -1 moreI highly advise against calling on Anytime Service. When my washing machine broke I had a technician come out to diagnose the problem. He claimed it was a control board issue and quoted the repair at $500. Thinking this was an outlandish amount for the repair I turned to Google. What I found is the replacement part would only cost $150 and replacing it takes no longer than a few minutes. So, I decided to diagnose the issue myself via [*** Link removed ***] . I found that the actual issue was not the control board but the door lock. I ordered the part for $80 and replaced it myself in a matter of minutes. Based on my experience I can conclude that this company is out there ripping people off left and right. I recommend staying away.

A friend visiting from another state found the parts online, installed one but could not stay to order and install the other. I called the technician who said he would not complete the work and, without checking what had been done said he thought the wiring was probably bad. Narrow minds and lazy homework.

No new parts where need, a hose needed to be reconnected and the condenser needed to be de-iced, all from the leak caused by loose hose. Very professional and overall a positive experience.

+ -1 moreI called Todd to come out and give me an estimate on fixing a Maytag Maxima that was screeching while on. In addition, while he was here, I asked him to take a look at the corresponding Maytag washer and asked for him to change the bellows as it was worn and subject to leaking.
Description of Work: Todd was as professional as it gets. When I called his company, I was told he would be there the next day and sure enough he was. He promptly called me telling me what time to expect him and he arrived on time. He immediately discerned what the problem was when he took a look at the dryer. He was quick and efficient knowing EXACTLY what he needed to do and replaced 4 wheels and a belt, making sure that he vacuumed cleaned the inside as well as the trap. He even went to the kitchen and scrubbed the trap clean with a brush making sure that was totally pristine. When done, he tested properly making sure that it was good to go. When I asked him to take a look at the washer, again, he knew exactly what was needed, ordered the part and told me he'd be back the next business day. Sure enough, he arrived on time and proceeded to put in the new bellows (which is no easy task) properly and securely, testing to make sure that it was working properly. He made it look so easy which is a tribute to this man's experience and technical knowledge. Todd, you do GREAT work and you have a customer for good! I strongly recommend him and his Anytime Service company. Thank you sir!
