Description of Work: Eddie Fernandez, owner, performed a previous service call when I lived in another town for a different job. In prepping my house for sale we wanted an opinion on re-zoning our heating/air-conditioning and creating a separate zone for our finished basement. Should we create a new zone or should we incorporate the basement into our existing zone heating the upper floors? We had separate units for the basement but a previous air conditiner specialistc "skipped town" never finished the job and left this equiptment unused. We called 3 professionals in to hook up this eqiuiptment when we found out (from each one) it was the wrong units, they were oversized, it would cost quite a lot of money to haul this equipment away and purchase new equiptment. One professinal said they wouldnt do it, it was too much time, duct work, and couldnt gaurantee it would come out ok. The second one said he would do it but it would cost a few thousand dollars. Eddie said he would haul the equipptment away and hook up the exisiting upper lever zone to the basement and the price was very fair. Much less the in the other estimate. He was on time, professional and did an excellent job. So I called him after I moved into my new home to repair an air conditioning leak. He was here for one hour, charged $95.00 and again, did an excellent job, on time and clean. I highly recommend him and his company.

+ -1 moreCalled them and they came over, confirmed it needed changing and he also indicated the system would need bleeding and rebalancing, which happens to be a bigger job. He quoted $600 which, given the need for the bleeding, was acceptable. He went out to buy the motor, which is about $200. After it was installed, he then told me that the system would not need bleeding. I thought that was good news and should reduce the cost. He then presented me with a bill for the $600 less a $50 first-time customer discount, which is what was quoted with the bleeding. I balked and asked him to reduce it and he refused. So I spent $350 for him to install a $200 motor which is outrageous.
Description of Work: The motor on the gas furnace stopped working.
