Green Side Up

I cancelled the Lawn Fertilization because I had the same weeds year after year. I found it cheaper through a neighbor who had already switched. I kept the mosquito control, but the owner was obnoxious and told me that he had come back to my house two out of three time to re-apply. This simply wasn't true, my gates might have been locked one time, but I really don't think so. I guess he has so much business that he really doesn't need the business. Guess what, I found someone better again!

They responded quickly even though they do not trim bushed. Very professional!

I've used them for a couple of years now for scheduled, routine lawn treatments and the occasional targeted weed treatment. Staff is always friendly, I'm quickly scheduled and always see positive results. If I have questions they always call back promptly. I've never had an issues with this provider and would recommend them.

Great experience - came on time and re-seeded and treated my whole lawn. Very nice guys and knowlegeable about their trade so I hired them to do additional fertilizing both this year and next. Having had a dead lawn that I thought would need to be re-sodded, I now have nice green grass coming in and am very happy with this purchase!!

This is my first year with Green Side Up and they have burned my grass twice. The first time a technician came out to fertilize my neighbors and acknowledged that it is burned and the excuse was that the technician was new. The first time there were just small patches that were burned. I figured OK give them another chance, I reached out to Russ to make sure it didn't happen again. Was assured that it wouldn't happen again. Came home on 6/20 to find a burnt streak between my curb and sidewalk. I contacted Russ and he insisted that the service did not burn my grass because they used slow release fertilizer. I sent a picture to show him and he has completely ignored my email. This company lacks customer service skills.

Emailed to get a quote for 900sf of new sod on my front lawn. They never got back to me.

They gave me a quote and it was a little high. They gave me a better price when I asked if they could lower it. They gave me one application on my lawn. It's not 100%, but I understand it could take mulitple applications. What they did was satisfactory.

They are great! They responded to my phone call about a thing that was growing on my lawn, I wasn't sure if they will charge me for an extra fee service for that because I don't think it is included on the contract. The guy came out right away the next day which was great, he hand sprayed it for me and didn't charged me for anything. I would tell to the other members that they are great and very customer friendly, they listen to you and they have very reasonable price, they are also very dependable and have a good communication in sending email; they're just a great company.

No complaints. The service is great and this is a top-notch company that I have referred to family. I have been using them for 3+ years.

Owner and staff very responsive and punctual, owner seen driving by occassionally to check on lawn. Great newsletters let you know exactly what the conditions are at least 4 times during growing season. They are serious about putting the right composition down for the conditions and at the right time. Also no problem getting follow up spot spays on difficult weeds when needed. However my lawn did not improve as well as I expected over the contract period...and that may be due to factors other than their care like soil condition, type of grass or shade/sun to begin with. (I do have an irrigation system.) I just don't know, and that is the only reason why I rated a B overall, even though the service was tops in every respect, and I believe they used a quality product. I will try it on my own next season because I have the time now, but having tried other companies, this one is clearly conscientious, consistent and a cut above most, and if I fail next season, I would probably return to them.

Russ and his team are very responsive and do a great job. my lawn is one of the best in the neighborhood. highly recommend using their service.

It's good for people who still want to do some of their own work. They are unobtrusive. They come when they think the weather and conditions are right.

Reasonable prices. They send email notices of when they are coming to perform the services. Very responsive to concerns about weeds etc. I also utilized their aeration and seeding service this fall. They were able to change the date that they were coming out so that I could clear the leaves. Came back to re-seed areas where the seeds did not take. Overall, a good company to work with. My lawn looks much better than it did last year!
