I liked the work done on my bathroom remodel several years ago by Dave Filan plumbing and decided to call them in November 2012 when I had a plumbing problem. I had a defective outside hose faucet. It was a easy repair and the in person repair estimate was between $300.00 and $400.00. I got another estimate over the phone for $143.00. I went with the second estimate for $143.00 and they did a great job and I am pleased with their work and attitude.

They were prompt, did a great job, spotted some minor leakage and fixed as part of the install. Took the smelly old toilets out the curb. Luckily it was trash night so we didn't have two old toilets sitting on our curb for days. Much better than others we've used in the past. Nice too.

I requested quotes from 4 contractors on an oil-to-gas conversion, Filan & Conner among them. Brian Conner responded first, and arrived at my house the next day to take measurements, examine the house, and generally discuss what needed to be done. He was extremely professional, courteous and anxious to respond to my needs for quick project start and quick turn-around time. When he entered my house, he covered his shoes with paper booties to prevent marring my hardwood floors - none of the other contractors did this. He scored some major points for this. I knew then that F&C would probably be the contractor I would hire, but I still got 2 other estimates for comparison (a 4th contractor failed to keep his appointment and left me waiting an hour). F&C's estimate was the highest of the three I got, but between the care he took to protect my floors, the A+ Better Business Rating with 0 complaints, and Brian's confidence that there was no problem or complication that he could not solve, along with his eagerness to address my concerns, I opted to hire F&C for this job. I was not disappointed. They began the job immediately, even expediting the permit process with my township. They completed the installation quickly and left no mess behind, and never once complained that all the work was done in a crawl space that is less than 4 feet high. Tom the plumber gave me some great advice for how I might get maximum results from my new furnace by adding some insulation to my crawl space (F&C does not do insulation work). I would hire Filan & Conner again in a heartbeat, and happily pay the higher price for the peace of mind I have from knowing the job was done right. Kudos to Filan & Conner!

We had a problem with our water heater so we called Filan & Conner Plumbing. They have earlier hours than all of the other plumbers nearby (plus (24/7 emergency calls) and Bob responded to the call in a very timely fashion. Bob diagnosed the problem and worked with the manufacturer to get the parts covered under a warranty that I was not even aware of. Bob also ended up working some extra late hours at our house to ensure that the gas line was operating in a safe fashion. Bob and his manager Chris made sure that we were happy with the services they provided. I would definitely use Filan & Conner for all of my plumbing needs in the future.

I called Filan and Conner Plumbing on Wednesday, February 16th to get a price after checking with Angie’s List. The manger told me about the 4” vent tube requirement upfront so there would be no surprises. He fit me in the following day. Great service.

Anthony was on time, gave the estimate and returned the next appointment day and installed the new toilet. Great job!

They were excellent. They were very friendly and cooperative. They did a really good job. We had problems with my home warranty company reimbursing me as well as them, and they were extremely patient and polite during it all.

A tech from Filan & Conner Plumbing arrived to check it out. He actually diagnosed that the problem was the pump in the dishwasher and that I'd need to order it from the manufacturer. The plumber offered to call him back and he'd do the installation for me. I was pleased with him from beginning to end. He was very nice and friendly and did a good job. I did request that the manufacturer take a look at it and re-diagnose before ordering the pump. I wasn't as happy with them and their approach with me. I was very happy to have Filan & Conner come back. They did a great job.
