Keep shopping. I did a lot of research into attic air sealing and initially thought it was something I could take on myself. Decided to let the pros do it and after calling around, decided to go with them based on price and the thorough job that the salesman told me they did. My services that I wanted were to remove and replace existing attic insulation, air seal the whole attic, and perform rodent prevention services. The team arrived about an hour later than the window I was given even though they called and said they would be there on time. They explained the process to me again, which was great, super professional and nice guys. They put up plastic in the hallways so there was no dust or debris which also was amazing. They removed a ton of old, rodent infested material as well as other random garbage I had inherited in the attic, and sprayed disenfectant. So far so good. When I poked my head up to see their progress and asked when the air sealing would start in the process, they told me they were already done, and had a single can of Great Stuff that they sprayed near the attic door opening. I asked about air sealing the recessed lighting and other ceiling protrusions but was told they don't do that in case you ever want to take them down. However, the salesman assured me that they would do that beforehand which is why I had all the electical work done that I wanted beforehand, and all the research I've seen says to do that. They proceeded to add in all of the new insulation, again great, quick work. When they were all done, I poked my head up again and asked how the rodent proofing went. They said nothing was needed. I pointed out specific areas in the attic where I wanted screened in and rodent proofed and was told that I could do that and that they usually do that but they didn't have time. If you're looking for basic remove, clean, and replace attic insulation, they were good, but I'm sure you could find cheaper. I was a bit put off when they said they "didn't have time" or didn't do things I was promised in the sales pitch. They didn't even offer to do it for an upcharge, I just got the feeling that they were looking to get out of there. When I brought that back up to the salesman, I was reminded that they have great reviews so they must be good (but not sure how that helps me...) Now there is still more work to be done in the attic, either by myself or by spending more money. Like I said, keep shopping.

I recently had my Attic cleared out, sanitized, old insulation removed, and new insulation installed, the work was done by the Atticare Team. The entire operation was done in one day (and I have a full house Attic). From the phone call to set up the initial meeting with Bob, who explained everything to me in detail, and very good understanding of the requirements I had for the Attic, and ideas on how to achieve it. He described the procedures and each step, he also explained the different types of insulation. He was never pushy or made me feel like I was being pressured. He was a pleasure to work with. The entire process from the meeting with Bob to the completion of the clearing, cleaning, insulating done by Alberto Santana and his team was seamless. Alberto was at the house when he said they would be there and their work was professional and courteous. At each step of the process Alberto showed me the progress and how it looked. Being a retired First Sergeant in the U.S. Army I was impressed with the timely manner and attention to detail that Alberto and his team showed, in completing the job. They bagged all debris and old insulation so there was no trash left in the house. When it comes to star rating this company get 5 from me, and comes highly recommended, and the price beat other competitors! OUTSTANDING JOB!!!

From start to finish this was a professional, timely, and thorough operation. The work was carefully explained during the estimate, the crew that came to do the work was considerate and left the place spotless, and finally the manager followed up to ensure I was happy with the work. I couldn't have been happier with the final result.

Manny, PJ and team were great! They came on time, covered the main areas of the house and did a great job removing old insulation, cleaning the attic and installing insulation a floor board. I’m very pleased... The only test left is to see in my ice dams go away!

Don't waste your time with this company. They send a technician to review the work that needs to be done and then it begins. Smile and dial your money away. I mistakenly hired them based on the integrity and experience they showed on line. Manny the field tech initially met with me and subsequently set up the appointment for the insulation and added that he personally checks on all the work done by their contractors. Appointment was set but needed to be rescheduled due to a "faulty gun" After the job was completed, I returned the next day, I found stains on top of my newly installed pavers along the area where the contractor was working and to add more disarray, I inspected the crawl space and discovered that there were gaps left untouched. I called my contractor to also inspect the job and he also agreed that the job was incomplete. There were gaps unsealed. Let me add that Atticare requests that you are not present on the property the day of the job due to the materials they use. Upon discovering all this, I immediately called Manny and reported the stains as well as advising him the job was improperly done. I asked Manny whether he was present to review the job, he stated he did not have a chance to go to the property as he was tied up on another job. Manny never made it back to the property till a week later. At that point I I showed him the stains on the pavers, they did agree to go back and reseal the gaps. In good faith I went back and forth with this issue, time and time again, Manny assured me that "WE WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS", SEAN MY MANAGER WILL CALL YOU. Well the last straw was to hear that they will not take responsibility for damaging my pavers. I provided a quote from the original contractor that custom designed the pavers. Just yesterday I spoke to Sean finally about this, and he acknowledge that he received the quote and added that he also would like to send his own contractor to review the job. I agree to this and jus a few moments ago, I received a call from Sean stating that it was not their company that stained my pavers. Then who was it ???? No other contractors were there during this period of time. In good faith I believed Manny as he was the forefront of the company and in communication with Sean his manager. I have wasted 3 weeks with this. Let me add that I requested the cans of insulation so that I can perform the job myself. Nothing more to say .... Quite disappointing

Our house is almost 85 years old and the attic space really needed to be reinsulated. My wife and I were absolutely delighted at the quality and professionalism of the Atticare team from start to finish. Manny performed a thorough inspection, made recommendations, and fully described each of the steps that were to be performed (i.e., cleaned out, vacuumed, sanitized and batt floor and wall insulation to be applied). The project was scheduled for 48 hours later. Victor and his team were prompt, careful, and did an amazing job. Furniture was covered in the room adjacent to the attic, including the floors in the house out to the entrance. We were completely satisfied with the professional quality of their work upon completion and would highly recommend the Atticare team to any homeowner looking to upgrade their attic/crawlspace insulation needs. Thanks again Atticare for doing a terrific job.

What do you say about an individual and a company that exceeded your expectations at every turn of a project? They are the best! Manny Figueroa and the Atticare team did an expert job. The inspection was conducted professionally and thoroughly. I am thrilled with the clean out and spray insulation of my crawl space. I don't think that this space looked this good since the house was built.

Nick came out to do the estimate for us, and within 2 days a 3-man crew came in to deal with a 80+ year old attic that was in sad shape. They moved boxes where needed, removed the old insulation, cleaned (REALLY WELL) and filled holes. We now have a newly insulated attic just in time for the winter. The team was very professional and respectful of my property, and cleaned and vacuumed up after themselves before leaving. Great service, great job.

It went very well. This was a tough pill to swallow as the cost of this service is not cheap. However, this is a large house and there is alot of insulation to replace, and alot of area to take care of. There were a small army of men sent from this company, and they were all professional and knowledgeable. They guarantee no rodents for 1 year and have backed it up by doing subsequent inspections to make sure they haven't come back. They stand by their service and although it was expensive, I have bought peace of mind.

I made an inquiry about attic clean up and new insulation and got a response in less than 10 minutes, the nice representative explained that it is important to have an inspection prior to the work and it's free, I had a Technician over the next day, Nick was very polite and knowledgable he took pictures of the attic and explained to me what needs to be done and what is in good condition which made me confident that he is not just trying to sell it felt very professional, I had a couple of special requests and Nick called his manager, he was also accommodating and agin made me feel reassured, Nick said that they will do the job in one day which seemed impossible to me, the price was a little high but reasonable but it felt good so I went with them, 2 days later I had the job done and I understood that these guys worth every penny! 4 men and a foreman, they were also very polite they started with covering the hallway all the way to the attic, Victor the foreman answered all of my questions and was very knowledgable as well, the way these guys work was very impressive they worked very hard all day and finished around 5:30 pm the attic looks nothing like before so clean they did an amazing job, they made me feel respected and my needs important, very professional I wish all of the contractors I dealt with were like them. I am very satisfied and will recommend them to anybody.

The estimate process was quick and easy to follow. For the actual attic cleanup and insulation work, Jesus and the team did a great job! It's a much better space now. They were very thorough and did a great job of explaining the process. Highly recommended!

Cleanup and vacuuming went on for at least 3 hours. They did a great job. 1 problem though some one touched an old wire. We then had smoke issues offer that. Fire department, etc, got involved. We had no electric or gas for 2 days.. the new insulation came out well. Just somewhat expensive.. we hadn't planned to have problems. Cleaning an attic.

Extremely high quote provided. Does not work with nj state energy program. Owner must submit and coordinate rebates and financing. Others don't.

The service was exceptional! Julian and his men did an outstanding job. Very professional. I'm thankful that I chose Atticare for my needs. I HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who is in need of insulating their attic.

They came exactly when promised and went to work. They cleaned the attic, sealed the access and put back new insulation. I felt they were professional in all dealings and they were done within the day promised.

We hate giving bad reviews as we did for this company - but it did get their attention. Within 2 days of the review we received a call and email from Sean, a manager from the company, who stated "you've paid a lot of money and we want to make this right." Within a week he sent a crew (not one person this time) who arrived very promptly at the appointed time and did a much more thorough inspection of the attic and exterior of the house. The crew used ladders to inspect the fascia under the eves around the entire house, found some suspected entry ways for the squirrels near the chimney and blocked the route with wire mesh. Thus far after 3-4 weeks, we've not heard any more footsteps above the ceiling and our traps have remained empty (nor, luckily, have we smelled any dead ones.) The responsiveness of the return trip this time was very professional and so far seems to have been effective. Wish it had been this type of response the first return trip. As promised, Sean, the review has been upgraded... thank you.

Julian and team were on time and courteous. They even had to do a last minute plan changer since the one entrance to the attic they planned to use was in my children's room, they decided otherwise - meanwhile which in my opinion was the harder entrance making it difficult for them, but the concern was more for my children. Job was completed even before my kids came home from school! They were friendly, sufficient and clean because there was no sign of them when they left - all except an attic that looked completely brand new! Definitely would recommend.

They were very neat and very good. They checked for any points of entry and if they found anything, they fixed.

Service will be performed next week and I am looking forward to see a new look of my attic.

I paid for the Angies list special for a rodent inspection. The scheduling was very good and prompt. I already knew I had a Rodent issue, so I paid for the Angies list special to help me determine where they were coming in from. I didn't really get that. I basically got a quote to take care of my rodent issues. The quote was very competitive and the person who came was knowledgeable, but I just question what I received for my $39 as others did not charge for a quote.

Job inconsistent and sloppy, needed to keep on them, clearly wanted get out asap even prior to completion if they could get away with it.
