They were prompt, here for 8.5 to 9 hours a day less lunch break, finished as estimated in 3.5 days. Not a single spot of paint where it shouldn't be (unlike some painters I've used in the past). All furniture moved and returned to correct position without damage. Courteous, and thoroughly professional

They did a fantastic job and were really professional. The crew came right on time every day and were extremely polite and professional. The room has a cathedral ceiling that required a patch on the highest seam.which they handled. They found blemishes in the walls I never noticed before and took great care to make everything as smooth as glass. I feel great giving them my highest recommendation and will definitely use them again.

Jack, Rinaldo and the team were very professional and detailed. The first job we hired them for was to take down wallpaper from the hallways of a condo complex that had been there for at least 20 years. They did an excellent job and now our walls look clean and new. We were so happy with this job we hired them again to paint the doors and other various items in the hallways. This also took some coordination of people being available. Not only did they do an excellent job, they worked around the availability of the owners. The doors and various other items came out perfect. Our hallways look so good. Again, we are now in the process of hiring them again to paint all the stair wells in the building. I will continue to use Jack and his team for all out painting needs.

Victor and his team exceeded my expectations! Victor and his team are professional, consciousness, neat, friendly, work effectively and efficiently. Victor was very communicative with me during the entire project. Victor is thoughtful and treated my house when making decision as it was his own. In addition, Victor's estimate was lower then a well know Montclair paint company that included less painting and cheaper brand paint. I struggled with choosing paint colors, Victor recommended Barbara Love from Pete and John's paint market. She is a genius and painstakingly worked with me to select my color palette. I asked Barbara to come back to coordinate the rehanging of picture. I highly recommend Victor, his team and Barbara. It is a win, win!!!

I have had a few painters throughout the years paint in my house, and I have never had painters as good as this company. Prices were very reasonable compared to other bids I received, theyre work was excellent and they kept my house clean. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a painter.

I can't say enough good things about the quality of their work as well as the professionalism of everyone. They arrive on time, do impeccable work, clean up before they leave for the day and are pleasant to deal with. We had just about all the rooms in our house painted (ex for small guest room and the dining room which was redone 2 years before). These guys went over every inch of our walls to spackle/sand any blemish or mark they came across. We have had other rooms painted before but there is no comparison to the quality of work from TOTB. Our walls look brand new. The people that came were focused, timely and talented. I felt comfortable with them in my house. They were very accomodating in doing certain rooms earlier so that I could begin preparing for the holidays. You will not regret hiring these guys.

The workmanship is outstanding and the two guys, Pablo and Agron were terrific, they both were professional, courteous and just down right awesome. They knew exactly what needed to be done and ran with it. That week I had two jobs going at the house and these guys were so patient with it all. It was tough for me to look for a company and I looked at several who knew their profession and it was immediate that there was a trust level with Jack and when I met Pablo and Agron it was dead on with these guys and I knew I was in good hands. We had the pleasure of working with the Touch of the Brush Painting crew recently to complete a massive interior painting undertaking to transform the walls and woodwork in our home. Jack, Pablo and Steven were amazing! They were punctual, professional, friendly, and did an incredible job to make our vision a reality. They knew it was important to us to have the job completed by Thanksgiving and they worked 9+ hour days and even came on Saturday to make that happen. We will definitely call Touch of the Brush Painting for any future painting projects and highly recommend them to all of our family and friends.

From the time of the estimate to the time of completion I can honestly say Victor and his team exceeded my expectations. My house was in bad need of a paint job and Victor and his crew knew exactly what needed to be done. First off these guys worked full days, for those of you who have had work done in the past a normal full day for a contractor is around 8:30-9 - 4ish. Victor and his guys were there promptly there at 7:30 every day and left between 4-5 every day. Not only that but Victor himself was on the job site working alongside his guys every single day which meant a lot to me. Victor was very communicative with me the entire time, he prefers to speak on the phone which was difficult for me at times when I was at work but nevertheless I appreciated always being in the loop and always being able to get in touch with him. Prep work was thoroughly done, we aren't only talking about a power wash but then my house was scraped and sanded where it needed to be. Then it was oil base primed, followed up by two coats of paint and in some spots 3. He and his workers are also very friendly, trustworthy people, I have a stay at home wife and 2 young kids and everyone that knows how to talk all had great things to say about him and his crew throughout their daily interactions. This was also very important to me if not the most important, we don't make a habit of letting strangers in our house or around our kids and these guys, especially Victor were great with my family. All in the job took a solid week and a half with 3-5 guys on site daily and they worked on Saturday so it wasn't a small job. They were all meticulous esp Victor and I think that could have added some time to the job but I'm confident it was done right and I shouldn't have any problems. I also had some real wooden shutters painted by them and after I put them on the house, they were in need of some touch up along with the house which Victor said not a problem and came back a couple of weeks later to touch it all up. He also sanded and re caulked some interior wainscoting in my dining room and bathroom which also came out feeling/looking like it should have the first time around. While I don't enjoy paying for things twice I am glad he was the guy to finish it properly. These guys are the real deal, hire them, you won't be disappointed.

Jack and his team did a phenomenal job! Their work was meticulous, and they were very accommodating. Jack even came during a snowstorm to ensure that the job finished on time! The workers were very neat and respectful. I would definitely use them again!

It was a great experience having this company paint our house. The painters were on time every day, precise, neat, professional, and I would recommend them to all. They completed the job as contracted which is unusually surprising for contractors. If you need a reliable company to paint your house, this is the company to call.

This is the third time I've hired TotB. The first two times, they painted several rooms in my house. Each room has molding, all of which was painted beautifully. Furthermore, the team spent a lot of effort filling in holes, repairing walls. I hang a lot of artwork, etc. on the walls, so this was no easy tasks. After two great experiences with Jack's company, I hired them to paint my entire cabin, as well as power wash the exterior. This was a huge job, including repairing and painting walls, ceilings (which hadn't previously been painted), the foundation and trim of the exterior, basement (sealed and painted), washing and staining an exterior deck, painting all exterior trim, and sanding/painting exterior porch. Truthfully, they completed the job more thoroughly in areas than expected (i.e. painting the interior of a closet). That noted, there was a corner of the house that was missed. A quick phone call and some pictures, and Jack graciously sent crew back to finish up these details. Extremely professional, responsive, and I will use them again. Thank you!

Hire them. Now. Seriously. These guys are awesome. We just moved into a house and of course needed to have the entire interior painted. Being new to the area we really had to rely on WOM or online reviews to make a decision. We totally made the right decision. From start to finish, the crew did an amazing job. They arrived on time, did exceptional work, and kept everything tidy and clean afterwards. The painting did take a few days longer than we planned for, but I'd rather have someone take their time and do a great job -- which was exactly what they did. I appreciated the frequency Victor checked in with us during the process to ensure that we were happy with the work. That's seriously some great customer service. And his entire crew was super courteous, friendly and professional. If something wasn't quite up to our expectations, they made it right, right away. I've used Touch of the Brush on several occasions now and each and every time they provide simply the best service. The quality of their work is superior, their prices are fair, and Jack and his team are friendly and professional. They just completed the staining of a large outdoor cabana, which was an extremely intricate job and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend!!

The work was done very professionally. The owner, Victor, is on-site and keeps a sharp eye on attention to detail. The work was extremely neat and well done. They cleaned up completely once finished. They completed all the work in 3 1/2 days which was rather quick considering the number of rooms painted. Victor spends a lot of time on preparation which many painters do not do. All the prep work ensures that the finsihed job will be a quality one that will last for a long time. His prices were much more reasonable than some of the other highly-rated painters listed on Angie's List. It is important to Victor to please his customer.

Could not have been happier with the job that Victor and his crew did in my house. My paint job wasn't a big one but they still delivered on quality work. Will definitely use them again in the future. Their prices were reasonable and they were always easy to get a hold of and extremely easy to work with. It took while for me to find the right painters with great work and great price. These guys are IT! He even threw in a few extra trim painting at no cost. I would definitely use again and highly recommend!

Touch of the Brush is the exception, not the rule. We had a few pipes break in our basement over the winter and were searching for a painter to finish the repairs. Touch of the Brush popped up on a municipal social media site and was highly recommended. The reviews were strong so we called for an estimate. Jack came over a few days later and checked out our basement. Since we were doing the basement we decided to get a quote for a few other rooms as well. Jack texted me a quote the next day (a Saturday!). We found the quote to be more than fair and Jack had a contract to us in no time. Jack was in constant communication with us while we picked out the paint, chose colors and finishes. His advice was key as we had no idea about finishes and other elements of painting. The first day that Jack and his crew were at our house they moved furniture and covered every inch of our televisions, couches and rugs. We thought this was something we would have to do ourselves. It was so helpful to have a professional crew handle this for us. We met all the painters on the crew: Everyone was extremely friendly, professional and trustworthy. The most surprising part of the whole process was the amount of spackle they used. Jack and his crew did not leave even a small dent, nail pop, or nail hole unspackled. They took incredible pride in their work. Every wall was spackled, some that we had no idea even needed it. The crew worked so quickly that we were never even displaced from our living space. It was shocking how quickly and meticulously they handled very intricate details on our walls and molding. They painted our house as though it was their own. They worked clean, despite the massive amounts of spackle. They worked quickly, without missing a spot. They worked honestly, we felt completely comfortable having the crew in our home when we were at work. Jack sent photos of the progress so we were able to monitor the job while we were working. He let us see the final product when we arrived home from work. The house was clean and organized and we were extremely impressed. The house looks beautiful. We are so pleased with the outcome. We did not know what to expect when paying someone else to pay our home; after hiring Touch of the Brush, I cannot imagine using anyone else. In fact, we already have new projects in line for Jack and his amazing crew.

Proposal bid: arrived on time. Professional with lots of explanation of how they would work and how they would approach my house.. Pricing competitive (not low bid). Work: I would give them a 'Michelin Star' for the work they did. I had lots of electrical work with new lighting and much new plaster patch up work as well as the need for new ceiling plaster board. All done with great care. Key for me was flexibility of scheduling: as other vendors slipped schedules and we needed to make some changes to painting Artisan accomodated.
