Awesome guys. Hired them for a standard job and they are the best value -- very down to the earth professionals. All others I talked to tried to tell me how hard the job is. It is not and we all know it. and he's the only person who says "yeah sounds standard". And it is standard but still excellent outcome. On time, great job, everything finished, and a happy customer who would use them again without any hesitations. Highly recommend! Thanks!

We hired Luminous Electric to redo all of the electric in our house - dozens of recessed lights, dimmer switches, multiple ceiling fans, smart thermostat, new indoor and outdoor outlets, ethernet runs, dedicated lines for appliances, and more. It was a large job and turned out perfectly - we’re extremely happy with the results. Prior to work starting, Nick provided an itemized list of everything and answered all questions we had along with providing some good advice and recommendations. On installation day they arrived on time, completed the work efficiently, and did a great job cleaning up when finished. Everything went perfectly and even the inspector complimented the work and said it was among the best he's seen. Nick and his team are complete professionals in every aspect, you can count on them to do a great job. We’ll be using Luminous again for any future electrical work and highly recommend them.

One of The Best Contractors to ever work on our house! Nick was great! He was prompt, efficient and thorough! He quickly found a slightly bared wire up in the attic in the romex wiring. He spliced the wiring, installed two new junction boxes in the attic and re-installed the ceiling fan/light fixture all within 1 hour. Great Service and very reasonable! Luminous Electric will be our electrician for future work.

Luminous Electric arrived with 6 recessed lights in hand and ready to install. My living room already had 2 recessed lights installed so I asked for the 6 new lights to be installed to make 2 rows of 4 lights. He measured, cut the holes, and hooked up the wires very quickly and left no mess. I did not need the dimmer switch that was noted in the deal because the 2 lights I already had were connected to a dimmer switch, and he gave me the dimmer switch to keep as an extra. There were no choices for style of recessed light or dimmer switch, and I was lucky that the recessed lights closely matched mine. I think the job was much easier for him because the only thing above the living room ceiling is unfinished attic. The bulbs that came with the deal were not LED so I bought new ones to replace them immediately. He was talkative and friendly.

Having over 50 years old electrical boxes in my house, I needed to update and upgrade my electrical system. With no previous major electrical work done, I was concerned about hiring anyone at random. I decided to check out my options to hire at Angies List. Number of licensed electricans showed up as a result of my search. Started calling and making appointments to see what needed to be done and what would it cost me. The owner of Luminuous Electric Nick came instead of sending someone else to address my concern. Unlike some other companies, he came at the date and time he said he would. He knew exactly what needed to be done, how long it would take, and what it would cost. It was obvious for me that he was professional in his work. His price was also far more reasonable than what others have quoted me. I decided to hire him. He called me in advance to confirm that he was going to be here on the date promised. Showed up with his crew, worked as a team, and finished the work to my satisfaction. His team is very courteous, friendly, and professional. Once the work was done, everything was tested and worked flawlessly. They cleaned up any mess caused during the process before leaving. I checked online for the brand of the equipment they used. I was excited and happy to find out that they were among some of the best quality that are recommended by other professionals in the field. Few weeks after, the inspector came and approved all the work Luminuous Electric did around the house. Nick also showed up on the day of the inspection. I was happy to see how he takes responsibility and takes the work he has done seriously. He called back immediately when I had to call him a few times to ask some basic questions. It has been two months now and everything is working perfectly without any issues. I have hired him for the 2nd time to install a new security system to my home. Once again, they showed up on schedule, did a excellent job, and left once everything was tested working. Luminuous Electric is the company I will hire again if I need any work done. Also, without any hesitation, I would highly recommend it to anyone who would ask me for a recommendation.

"You get what you pay for" is how I would describe this cheap "deal" to have recessed lights installed. The guy came in here with his crew and smashed up all of my living room, kitchen, and bedroom ceilings with giant holes in order to install brand new recessed lights. I had another electrician come by afterward for unrelated work and he couldn't believe the incredible amount of unnecessary damage done just to install these lights. Obviously, as the owner of a home and doing this for the first time, we had no idea what to expect for our request, but after hearing from the other guy what should have been done with very minimal damage to my plaster ceilings, I'm pretty ****** about the sloppy job that I then had to repair at my cost afterward. Imagine seeing your ceiling look like swiss cheese. To top it off, he used pretty cheap quality recessed lights that we found out later were bought off of Amazon, and that were entirely way too white in color (like an office space). Furthermore, he didn't seem very knowledgable about my ceiling lamps that needed to be rewired and claimed it was a very big job to make it all safe again. The other electrician I used for another project was also asked about this request. It was no problem for them to easily diagnose and repair with no damage at all and completed in about an hour. We now have brand new ceiling lamps in the living room and bedroom. Lastly, his attitude sucked. He had no manners or level of professionalism, and was very condescending to my wife and I on numerous occasions. He sent us harassing texts as well because we couldn't pay him exactly at the time and day he requested because my wife and I work. Wouldn't accept payment outside of in person check or cash.

Nick and his assistant came promptly after taking my call and quickly resolved the issue. They had all the necessary tools and parts to fix the problem right away. They were knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Thank you!

Nick and his assistant were extremely professional and exceptionally helpful in how they handled the repair of our ceiling fan and light. Nick had several suggestions for the best way to fix the problem and offered several solutions. We will be hiring Nick again in the future for any of our electrical needs! Highly recommend.

Nick and his team were very professional and punctual and performed the work efficiently. Nick was responsive to my concerns and questions and presented options when minor problems arose. During the installation a small amount of damage occurred but Nick made it right by pointing it out right away, apologizing for the accident and offering a discount.

Nick was awesome form the start, we had a tricky situation, which was to run high amperage power from our main panel in the garage to our pool equipment pad about 300 feet away. We had existing cable run, and hoped to not have to re-run cable. Nick came out the day I called (a Sunday) about 20 minutes after we spoke. He looked at the job and did the math to determine if we could reuse existing cable for the underground portion. All was determined to be fine. Nick scheduled with us for the following week. Two days prior to the installation the weather forecast was for rain on the day of the installation, Nick called to let me know he would need to reschedule (perfectly reasonable given the very high power and water not being a good combination). We agreed on the new schedule and Nick arrived on time. He did the work we planned on, and helped me with a few other much more minor things for a perfect job. I'm the type of client who knows enough to be dangerous (or annoying), and Nick was patient with my questions and curiosity and was willing to be as technical in his explanaitions as I wanted to go. That is important to me in the long-term relationship. Our house is roughly 3500 sq ft with 400-amp service, we value a good relationship with an electrician and we were glad to have such a positive experience with Nick.

We needed electrical work done in various rental units and Nick and his team were fantastic to work with. Always prompt responses to emails and texts throughout all the projects, willing to work around our schedules for appointments, and also helped us when we were in a crunch and needed work done ASAP. For the various projects a COI was required by management in the various units and they promptly acquired all necessary paperwork and sent it over without delay. Extremely reasonably priced and I mostly appreciated that they did not push unnecessary work to be done and even gave me suggestions for alternative cost lowering options for our projects. Most importantly they know what they are doing and will complete the job as promised, no fuss no muss. On several occasions, Nick has even answered some general questions I had and given me his diagnosis of the issues without charge. So glad I found Luminous Electric!

Nick and Brandon were great. They did an outstanding job, all my lighting looks awesome. I will definitely be using them again. They worked tirelessly and did a great job with the clean up. They were extremely polite and professional.

Well fine with a good sense of humor at work

I have to say from start to finish they were a breeze to work with. They were super responsive and punctual and explained all the different options. We upgraded to LED and added another switch so spent more than the deal but this was not a surprise. They showed up on time day of installation and installed everything in less time than approximated. The lights look amazing and they cleaned up everything behind them. I would highly recommend using them for all your electrical needs.
