This contractor is absolutely terrible. Overall, any place this company put their hands they did something wrong, and they took a long time to do it. This company should not be recommended to anyone. Almost every part of the remodel completed was done incorrectly. The company also had subpar responsiveness to the issues incurred. The boss would not even answer the phone when I called. To start with, I found out after construction that the materials I contracted for were shortened by this company. We contracted to use ¾ inch plywood on the floor, they used 5/8th plywood. This caused the floor to bounce shortly after construction, resulting in tile needing to be completely redone. When we opened up floor we also found out the toilet drain was installed incorrectly. We also found the wrong type and amount of cement was used, resulting tiles not completely bonding. We simply had to run a knife through the grout lines to remove the tiles. We found the back of the tiles were clean, rather than having adhesive on them as they should. We also identified the company glued the pedestal sink to the tile wall instead of installing the two bolts properly to the wall. Since the measurements were wrong, the company put cardboard between the glue and sink to level it. Ultimately this resulted in damaging the sink while correcting the leveling issue. This cost $350 to repair just this half of the sink. In contract the contractor was to use copper pipes exclusively. However everywhere I could not see, they installed plastic pipes. I am now to the point where I am only working on the immediate issues rather than being able to have the bathroom constructed to what was agreed upon. The right thing to do would be to start over completely; however, I am not in the financial position to do so. Lastly, money is not primary concern. My primary concern is that a young couple is going to try and get a bathroom remodeled by using this company, and they are going to regret it.
