It was a pleasure working with GR Tech. Greg and crew were on time for the project and were efficient and professional throughout. Prior to contracting with the firm Greg came and gave me an estimate and thoroughly explained everything that would be done in simple, easy-to-understand language. The estimate he gave matched the actual cost of the services provided. (As we know that doesn't always happen!!) Once the work was done, Greg took me through a walk-through and again explained what was done. I would definitely recommend this firm if you need asbestos removal.

I needed an asbestos survey to obtain a permit to demolish my garage. Provider came out the day after I called for an estimate and responded to my phone call within 24 hours. Although his services weren't needed, he provided a referral to a vendor that could give us what was needed. Great experience!

Contractor came promptly to give an estimate. His wss the best price of two. He was very courteous. The workmen were polite and not only did the job well but also cleaned up the work site. This work was done for our elderly mother and she was very pleased with this contractor.

Went great. He was prompt and cleaned up the areas well. Explained the process well and was finished within the day. Would definitely recommend his services.

EFFICIENT, NEAT & CLEAN-VERY PROFESSIONAL

The appointment was scheduled at noon time 9/6. Greg called ahead and told me he was behind scheduled (45 minutes late). A team of 3 showed up and started working right a way. They followed every step from the quote. At the end, Greg and I did a walk through and all the ugly and dangerous tiles were removed and the floor was sealed with the poly coating. The air test result was sent to me on 9/8.

I actually signed up for Angie's list because it was so hard to get someone on the phone for residential asbestos removal. Out of the 5 or 6 companies I called GR Tech was the only one who actually came out to my property to look at the work that needed to be done. The quotes that I received from others ranged from $2600 to $2200 which I thought was high as I did not need my whole basement done and they didn't even look at the area that needed work. GR Tech was professional and did the work fast comparatively to other contract labor I have hired. (approx 2.5 week wait) If you have just started the search for residential asbestos removal in central Jersey, in my opinion, this is the only call you need to make.

The whole project was scheduled for 2 days, but Greg and his team were done with the removal within 4 hours. The rest of the time was due to air cleaning and testing. They removed all duct vent covers and sealed them to avoid exposure to the rest of the house. They also sealed off the basement door access. While the air cleaning equipment was running, the basement remained fully sealed off. After the test came back clean the next day, they removed the air cleaning equipment and put the final seal down on the concrete floor to encapsulate any possible remaining asbestos fibers. l in all, I was completely satisfied with the work done by GR Tech. They were fast, friendly, arrived on time, kept my house clean, and answered all my questions with a smile. I also felt like his price was very reasonable, considering how expensive asbestos removal can be. I did get one other quote from another highly rated Angie's List provider, and they wanted 17,000 for the same work. I can only assume he didn't really want the job anyway for that price, but it only proved that GR Tech is hands down the best asbestos abatement company in northern NJ.

I hired GR Tech based strictly on their Angie's List rating and was not disappointed. The owner Greg and his crew arrived on time and got to work immediately. There were no additional costs added to the quote I was given and the work was done exactly the way it was described. When the crew left, they took all their trash with them including the Dunkin Donuts coffee cups they brought that morning so they left nothing behind except a clean basement. I should mention that Greg said GR Tech works 7 days a week. They did my basement on a Sunday which, if I was employed, would have prevented me from having to use a valuable personal or vacation day. You won't find a flashy website for GR Tech so don't let that stop you from hiring them. This is the first and not last time I will rely on Angie's List for recommendations.

We picked GR Tech due to the reviews on Angie's list and some competitive shopping. He came in the most affordable. The only hiccup was that he arrived a little late on the day scheduled for the removal and my husband had to reach out to him to see if he was coming. Otherwise everything was done very quickly and we received the results in a day. I would definitely recommend him to others who have an asbestos issue. Ours wasn' t huge but it was still asbestos!

Greg was extremely easy to work with from the moment I contacted him until completion of the work. He responded very quickly to my request for a quote and made all of the required permit arrangements promptly. He and his team did a very professional job and left the work area in very clean and orderly shape at the end of the work. His price was in line with other quotes. Overall a very good experience.

Greg and his team cut and removed pipes with asbestos wrapping in my basement since I planned to install new pipes. Greg did everything professionally, from permits, tenting, and provided a certification of asbestos removal and proper disposal. I couldn't be happier with the excellent and professional service.

GR Tech was very professional. I called and left message and got a return phone call in the early evening. Greg came the next day, surveyed the area and wrote up an estimate and proposal on the spot explaining timeline and need for a two week lead time for permits. At the time I was not ready for work to be performed knew it would need to be done within the next two months. Called about three weeks prior and we set up our appointed day. I called day before and Greg returned call again in early evening to confirm the arrival time the next day. He and crew of three came at 8am and worked none stop till about 2pm. A vapor lock was set up so I could remain in house on upper floor. Greg twice left to get air specimens analyzed. Upon completion he gave me a tentative certificate with a final to be later emailed to me. I was very please with the work as they had to move some things and they hauled all debris away and place was swept clean. Very tidy.

I highly recommend. Greg was very helpful in answering all of my questions before the job started. I had to make sure the material he used wouldn't compromise the self-leveling concrete that was going to be poured over the floor after the tiles were removed, and he patiently answered all questions. Arrived right on time on the day of the job and completed it that same day, providing certification of removal and disposal as well as the clear air tests.

Greg and team arrived on time, set up a safe environment , were cordial and cleaned the area well. I felt very comfortable with the process. They were thorough and finished in the time frame they specified. The air quality was tested , it was brought to the lab and I have a paper stating work completed. I will have the official state paperwork sent to me via email and the post office shortly. I was very satisfied .

They set up the service and quickly followed through with completion. Our basement pipes look great and the are is actually a little cleaner now than it was before the work was done. Good job.

I had an extremely tight time frame to meet a closing date. Greg did a wonderful job scheduling the work and meeting the deadline. He is meticulous in his work, punctual, tirelessly patient with all of my questions, and just a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Greg to others as he did a superb job.

yBefore you decide on any other asbestos abatement contractor - try to meet with Greg first. I picked him based on Angies list reviews and because his quote was the lowest among others, but I did not get a lot of confidence from the first phone call. Subsequent phone calls and emails and then finally meeting him did change my confidence level for him. So, I highly recommend meeting with him once if you are planning to invest large money on abatement project and want a final - safe - result. I picked him because his prices were lowest and he had many good reviews. I told him why I needed it done on a specific date, and he said "give me an hour - and let me move around other stuff in my schedule" - he called back and confirmed the data I wanted. He showed up on time - performed the work very professionally, answered a LOT of my questions before, during and after the process (a lot of contractors run away from my questions). He allowed me to hire my own third party air testing company, and came back for 2-3 hours and stayed there when the air testing guy was collecting samples (the air testing guy said, 'he is great that he came here, usually they are not required to be present during the air quality testing). His original quote was 2000 and I wanted everything to be covered with Poly - which was not required - but I wanted it - and I paid 500$ extra for that. I forgot to ask for the 5% angies list discount, but I don't regret it. He knows what he is doing. He has a good team that works with him (he doesn't pick day laborers to do this). He and his team know what they are doing. - with Greg you are in right hands.

We called Greg to remove a small piece of asbestos from our crawl space and some mold on the wall of the basement. Communication was good from the start. He came out on a Sunday and carried out the work required in a quick, safe, professional and efficient manner. Would definitely use Greg again and would recommend him to friends and family.

I reached out to Greg regarding the removal of my popcorn ceiling containing asbestos. From the proposal to the completion of work, he was very professional and responsive. Greg and his team arrived on the expected day and completed the work ahead of schedule. Overall, I'm very pleased with the work that was performed including the cleanup.

Greg and his team were extremely professional, responsive, and provided A++ service. I had water damage in my ceiling due to ice dams and upon removing the wet sheetrock discovered another layer of old ceiling with asbestos on it. I called Greg and he showed up the same day to give me a price. Greg provided the best price and the earliest date to complete the job. The work was scheduled for Tues 3/11. They showed up on time as scheduled and finished the entire abatement process including clean-up and air test the same day. They also hauled away all of the debris and cleaned the entire area. A certificate of completion and aire test results were also provided the same day. I would highly recommend GR Tech for any homeowners in need of asbestos and/or mold removal.

It went great. Initial appointment for estimate, on time. Estimate provided in a timely manner. Work scheduled quickly, and in the time frame they quoted. Finishing paper work (air sample and disposal of materials). Were also provided as promised. Fantastic company to work with.

The removal was done perfectly. I received an air sample analysis a few days later in the mail. The owner showed up at the exact time and day and completed the job leaving the basement spotless.
