After a different vendor did a terrible job on my new hardwood floors forcing them to need to be stripped and started from scratch Elite showed up like knights in shining armor. Elite took a four day process, did it in two days, and executed with excellent skill and craftsmanship. Chris, Emerson, and his team are out of this world. Need hardwood work - call them. Hands down.

 + 0 moreElite Wood Floors arrived punctual on said date and immediately went to work. They were able to bring life to the wood floors that were severely stained being under carpet for many years. They replaced sections of the floor edges with custom cut fittings that look seamless. The crew tapped off sections with ceiling to floor plastic to ensure that no dirt/dust entered any unnecessary areas of the house, although there was none considering their equipment was hooked up to a vacuum outside. The job performed looks like I have newly installed floors! Elite made every effort to ensure that the job was completed to our satisfaction. Thanks Chris and your crew!

 + 1 moreMy wife contacted the company and was treated cordially on the phone. The men showed up on the date agreed upon and were courteous and thoughtful.
Description of Work: We had removed the rug in a small bedroom and the oak floor needed sanding and finishing. We also had a half a staircase with wood steps that we decided to do at the same time. They did not seem to need more than just a light sanding and refinish coats. The work was done well and only took a day, sanding and finishing coats.During the drying time I spoke with Mike (Chris and Mike delivered the equipment and Mike stayed to perform the work) and was regaled with the company philosophy of going green, the merits and drawbacks of water based finish vs oil based, and several other subjects. Mike seemed well versed in the business and not just a non-involved worker bee.The finished work was beautiful, even, and thorough.Having read another review (from 2011) I was surprised to read that the team was badly reviewed. My wife and I found them to have a professional attitude. They are not off-putting but have down-to-earth demeanor and are enjoyable people.Did I mention the price was very competitive?
