Duratech Roofing

He ran out before finishing the job. They did our driveway. They damaged our shed and never repaired it. If you look them up it looks like they don't exist anymore. I have been trying to get in touch with them for a while. I saw the pile of black top they were suppose to pick up. I would say they stink. They are extremely unprofessional and they made promises they didn't keep. The last time I was in touch with them he told me he had people that would come fix my shed, I have been trying to get in touch to get the job completed and there was nobody to talk to the numbers were non existent. We paid them $16000 and the job is not complete.

I do NOT recommend anyone uses Duratech roofing-paving-siding-masonry out of Wayne, NJ. Unfortunately I was distracted by the low price but that only proved the old adage that you get what you pay for, but of course that wasn’t even the real price because as they went along they found a rock in the way, then there was a ‘this’ and then a ‘that’ which kept driving the price up. What should have been a couple day project dragged out over two weeks. He came up with some story about having bank issues and I needed to void the original deposit check and write a new one to the owner of the company to which they brought straight to my bank to cash. The story of the issue with the bank had minor variations the next few times I heard it. Since my bank said to him they would cash it as a onetime curtesy he requested the final payment in cash. This should have been the biggest red flag but Alan has his B.S. story down so well you believe and trust him. As far as the work, I will gladly allow anyone to contact me and come look at it for yourself this way I don’t come across as a disgruntled customer, you can come and see for yourself. They broke a section of the existing stone retaining wall so they shoved rocks in it so I wouldn’t see it. There are gaps, cracks, holes, again don’t take my word for it please come look at it yourself before you use this company. Then if all of that was not bad enough, they brought debris from another job and piled it in front of my house along with the debris from my job. He said easier to have it all in one place for when the truck comes to get it. NO TRUCK HAS EVER COME TO GET IT. Now I have to pay a refuse company to take it away.

They showed up when they said they would and kept their word about ensuring that I was completely satisfied.
