Burton Electric installed a whole house generator at my home. Dave Burton has done electrical work for me on previous occasions, and I have always been very pleased with his work. The generator installation went smoothly, and I now have peace of mind in the event we ever have another major power outage. Dave and his crew are very professional, very knowledgeable, and very reliable. His rates are fair and reasonable. The quality of his work is exceptional. I use Dave for any electrical work that I need done, and I recommend him to all my friends!

My phone call was promptly returned with a courteous call and we scheduled an appointment that was convenient for both of us. Dave and his assistant arrived on time and were courteous and friendly. Their work was done quickly and cleanly. I would not hesitate to call Burton Electric again for any electrical need and I would recommend him to anyone who needed a good electrician.

I highly recommend Dave Burton. He was responsive, thorough, respectful, competent and his price was reasonable. Once he fixed the problem with my kitchen lights, my wife asked him to look at some other issue and he did without question or haggling over price. Great install. Worked around my wife having to work from home. (She needed some power to work, so they set her up while the rest of the house was off.) Clean, neat, organized. Put the generator hub in an inconspicuous location perfect for me. Labeled the circuits to the best of their knowledge. Placement the recessed lights was great. Location of the switches clean and neat.

Dave is punctual, courteous and professional. We compared Dave to another electrician and Dave was our choice even though he wasn't the lowest price. We are very happy with the work and will be hiring him again to install a standby generator.

He was a good guy and gave me a quote on installing a generator but nothing has been done yet as I haven’t got the generator yet. I got three quotes and everybody quoted me doing something a little bit differently. So my choice is going to be the idea that I liked the most. It was a bigger unit and a more complicated installation but I decided to go with another electrician but I haven’t made up my mind yet. Another electrician charged me $1000 for a switch and chord. Burton was more reasonable.

Dave was great. Very responsive, seems like a very nice guy. He takes pride in his work. He came out quickly for an estimate, and emailed the estimate about 5 days later. He arrived for the project on time, did the work in a professional way. The only issue we ran into was that I thought that we had discussed the new circuit during the estimate, but it caught him by surprise on the day of the install. As a result, I'd recommend making sure you go over your estimate with a finer tooth comb than we did to make sure you are on the same page before the install. All in all we were very satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Dave for work in the future.

Dave promptly returned my call requesting estimate, he explained what was needed to complete the upgrade of the electrical service and hook up a Mitsubishi Mr Slim wall unit. We had no delays he came when he said he would, completed the 1st phase and came back promptly (once the Airconditioning contractors had done their install ) to complete the job. The cost for his services was great and stayed the same even though it took a little longer than he though to finish the job. He was professional, polite and did a great job cleaning up the work area. I would have absolutely no hesitation hiring Dave again and will definitely call him if we have additional electrical service needs.

It's not often one finds a service person who is polite, accommodating, punctual, get's it right first time AND CLEANS UP AFTER THEMSELVES!. Dave from Burton Electric is one awesome electrician and I can recommend him with the greatest confidence. No fuss, no mess. AWESOME JOB - thanks!

The electrician was right on time. He was very courteous and professional. He asked my opinion before moving along with each part of the job. He was considerate when I explained that I need the job done as quiet as possible not to disturb my husband working out of the home office. He was careful when it come to my possessions, we covered the floor and picked all the pieces. I was short one of the switches; he got the part from his truck and did not charge me. I?m extremely pleased with the job and I will be using the company in the future. I was expecting a headache and a mess, but everything went smoothly and efficiently.

I spent about $1900 on that work. It went very well and the weather did not cooperate for a while, but it wasn?t their fault. They came over and gave us a bid and we did go to others for a bid, but their bid was very good. Dave was very, very friendly and worked well with us, although the house representative faced challenges. He came and brought the whole house up to code. In addition to replacing the cable he also put some ground in, in the basement to make sure that the whole house was up to code. He tried to be as flexible as he could when the weather was bad. Everybody gave us a good price, but no one talked about bringing the house up to code. The quality of work was excellent and he was in and out in a day and I had a family member at the house to keep an eye on it and it worked out quite well. Whenever I called him he got back to me within a day and also called and told me when they weather was bad and that they would probably not be there. He said that he would be there at 8.30 and he was there at that time and said that it would take one day and it did.

I think we got them off of Angie?s List, and they were great. They came and looked at the job, told us what they needed to have done, and did the job well. I now have a light in my driveway that works.

Excellent-set up appointment by email, he came on time and did a difficult installation of floor outlets including running lines from the basement to the living room upstairs. Minimal mess.
