After I posted my initial reviews, the owners of Air Temp Service Co. (Mario and Lori) reached out to me, and wanted to make it right. They're a family owned business, and proud of the work they do. We talked about the issues with our interactions with their company. After some additional research, I agree that the Nest Thermostat does need a common wire, and its beneficial that we had it installed. The other issues were due to the technician that was working with us at that time. That technician was removed from the company a few weeks after the work at my house was complete. The technician was responsible for the upcharge on service, and pushing us to replace the CPU for our central AC (this should have been communicated as being a worst case scenario instead of the first step to fix the issue). The outside unit which was the main job I contracted Air Temp Service Co. for was installed cleanly and quickly. It was good work. They've also removed the technician who caused my family so much grief. I would say if you are a potential new customer they're worth giving a shot. They'll take care of the job, and if you do have an issue they'll make it right.

The owner Mario and the receptionist Fallon were always happy to answer my questions and were very responsive. They performed good quality work.

As a residential and commercial landlord I’ve used Air Temp services for the past 18 years. Trust and professional service has been built over the years. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

After wasting time and money with Air Temp my unit made 0 progression. They were here 3 times and 3 times they said our unit would work every time they left. All lies. They can’t guarantee their work. Found a local guy that guarantees work and is cheaper. Mario has no clue how to speak with people. It was embarrassing honestly. Look somewhere else to get your work done because Air Temp will not lower the temperature in your space. You

Had an old 1984 system replaced when i moved in. Was looking to get the higher seer cooling and more efficient furnace to get the rebate but Mario reasoned me out of it even though the system would have costed more to install. Mario sent Gabriel and another person to replace the unit. Ran into an issue getting the condenser unit out on to the second floor balcony. But Gabe and his helper was able to take the patio door apart and put it back together. Was done in a day overall been happy with the system no issues.

We've been using them for 30 years. It may have been $100.

The technician, Anthony, was very good, well prepared, and did a great job. We were very satisfied with the service. We would certainly use them again. The only hiccup was a small difference in price. They offer a $125 coupon on Angie's List, which I had intended to use. But when I called them, they said they no longer had that promotion. So I paid them directly--all that means is that I had to pay the sales tax, instead of them having to pay it. So, a small difference in price. But, given that the promo still shows up in Angie's List, they should not have dissuaded me from using it.

Mario and his team were phenomenal - from creatively developing a plan to get us "central" air in our 100 year old home without using closet or other valuable space, to clean, courteous and informative technicians on the install. Highly recommend!

These guys were great. Mario, the owner, was responsive, reasonable, and organized. Gabriel and Anthony (who did the actual job) were excellent. They were punctual, efficient, knowledgeable, resourceful, and honest. I'm very pleased with their work and their price (beat out 3 other estimates).

Awesome. Fair price, great work, and very responsive. Did 2 large jobs for my parents who were extremely pleased with them. Came when promised, completed the work in the estimated time period (even early), very professional, clean and polite. Extremely easy to work with. Would highly recommend them to everyone.

Mario and team were very professional. Worked with us as our closing date changed several times. When we finally closed, Airtemps was there to complete the project in a timely manner. Mario walked me through the process and kept me in loop what to expect. It's only been a couple of days but all the units work great and definitely a huge upgrade from the old 20+ year old existing unit. I highly recommend and will be using tgem for other projects.

In reviewing a number of different issues within the HVAC industry, it seems that unnecessarily replacing heat exchangers is a common complaint. Get two or three evalutations before replacing a heat exchanger. It''s worth the investment as it is a costly repair. Ask to retain the exchanger after the repair has been done. It's a sure way of seeing the truth of the matter.

He removed old thermostat and replaced with new honeywell pro 4000 when taking old off he enlarged holes in wall did not drill new holes. When I came home my wife told me to look at the job . the thermostat was just about hanging on the wall I removed it to find it just barely hanging on. I removed mounting plate and did it the way it should have been done. The Pro 4000 works very well. For work done,way over priced. Checking AC unit for 5 minutes was not worth the price.

Mario is just excellent. His team is dedicated, punctual and competent. Mario's manages the process from start to end. He available to help clarify any issues that come up and this reflects in his team. I would and plan on using the team in the future.

Although we are not ready to have the services performed, I would feel completely confident about him. when we are ready, I will call him.

From day one of my contact Mario and his staff were very professional. I got a good price, very clearly knew what models I was getting. I requested quotes for three different combinations and Mario was able to provide me all including his recommendation for long run. When the job started his staff was very professional and courteous. I got the job done by Anthony and Gabrial who answered my questions every time I had one. They were here on time and very professional. So far I am happy with the work done by them. I will know more in few years on how it goes and if I need to get in touch with them, how do they respond. But my experience so far had been giving me confidence that I am in good hands.

Work was performed on time and professionally. All debris was removed and inside of house was left clean. Did not receive township work permits from contractor.

One visit to diagnose problem. The work was neatly and professionally performed in half a day as promised, Very neat and clean, Was as if no one was even here except for they fixed everything perfectly. The new unit is performing better than expected. The house is often too cold. So i am getting used to raising the temperature. Its only one zone and an old system. We did not change ducts, so i used to set it to 69 downstairs to get upstairs right, since its only one zone for the whole house, but it is performing so well I am adjusting up and using it less. They fixed all the duct work including what the hot water guy didnt do. I was very happy with the results. I have had over 5 different companies in the past 5 years, I am finally done I found an honest guy. He services other family members, friends, and even our church. Everyone loves him. He doesnt even need to be on here. He is always busy with referrals. I insisted that he should be on here. Wish I met him 5 years ago, or even 2 weeks ago. I had a problem with hot water heater. I have called Mario a few times for advice on other things too. Finally have an honest friend in the business who can look out for all my needs and refer other specialties if necessary. Very happy and comfortable
