I purchased a Deal for a Handyman to work for 2 hours at one flat cost of $149.00. Steve called me immediately and with my busy schedule, he followed up with me until we were able to schedule the work. Steve showed up on time and accessed the significant repair that was required. We had one bedroom wall with a caved in section around an electrical outlet. It took all of the two hours to repair, and while there was some waiting time for the sparkle to dry, Steve repaired other smaller damaged walls around the house. The price of $149 was definitely a Deal. All I had to do was prime and paint after Steve left. The wall looks great.

Steve was great to work with. He recently did my kitchen backsplash and it came out great. It was easy to schedule and he gave a good price for the work done. I will definitely call him again if I need other work done.

Steven has been extremely responsive and responsible. He is polite and gave me an estimate before hand, stuck with it once the job was done. He was very friendly and has shown sincere concern to complete a timely and quality job. I am very satisfied with the person and the quality of work he performed. I will be referring him to all my friends as well as engage him as and when I need help. He is just excellent.

Steve was terrific. First and foremost he is a very nice man. He was able to do the work the same week that I called. He was on time, worked neatly and cleaned up when he was done. I would happily give him a call to do additional work for me.

Very happy with the work from Steve. He takes a lot of pride in his work and worked very quickly. We had a backsplash in our kitchen re-sheetrocked, tiled, and the kitchen painted in less than a week. Came out very well & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend in the future.

I had an individual replace my exterior and interior door. My problem was that the door handle on the exterior door touched the interior door so that one could not lock and close the exterior door properly. We had a lot of wind in my area so I wanted this problem corrected. I signed up for Angie's list hoping to find handyman to solve my dilemma. Steve rectified my problem so my doors close properly. I also had Steve replace old weather stripping on my front door. I am definitely satisfied with the result and would highly recommend. I have a cracked window that I intend to contact Steve about in next few months.

Overall good. The higher priority projects I wanted done seemed to be an issue for him to complete in the time allotted for the service. I needed to see the quality of his work before I would consider paying for more hours. Steve is friendly and thorough talks a good bit. I thought he worked a bit too slowly. The one negative is he did not clean up after his work, he left the packaging on the counter or wrappings on the floor. Steve was running late but called to let me know he was in traffic.

Steve arrived promptly at the scheduled time. I showed him the jobs that I needed assistance with and he was able to do some of them. The others required either long time to complete or materials that we didn't have. We left off that we will work out another visit to address those jobs. I was pleased with Steve's service and will definitely use him again.

Steve was great. When I called him the day before, he called me back no more than 5 minutes later and came the next day. He was prompt and professional and got everything done within one hour. He had all of the tools needed to do the job plus other jobs that I had not mentioned one the phone so he was very well prepared. He was great!

At first he was willing to do the work but then decided he did not have the skills or tools to do the work.

Was very pleased, Steve arrived on time was efficient , neat and knowledgeable. He did not take a break. and completed work quickly. Also, he pointed out a minor sink problem and advised me on how to correct it, Felt it was too simply a problem not requiring any special skill to repair. I will absolutely use him again.

I have various projects I need completed in my home, some big and some small. Mr. Fried came out to give me some excellent ideas on my home improvement needs. He was punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgable. He even fixed a pesky door knob problem for free! Overall, I was very happy and will be using his services within the next couple months.

The work was excellent. The service turned out really well. The contractors were very professional and prompt. They were meticulous with the work and detail oriented. They explained what was going to be done in a straight forward and understandable manner. They did the work in the time stated and I would definitely hire them again.

Steve responded promptly to my request, and all the work was done within a week. He performed the task in two trips - one paid for through Angie's List, the other as additional time, since it was a larger job than the 4 hours I had originally paid for and he needed a helper as well. He was meticulous in his work, clearly knew what he was doing, provided appropriate materials, and cleaned up scrupulously after each visit. i would certainly hire him again - he's a gem to know about!

Steve began the job on time. He was friendly. He explained carefully what he would do. He worked continually and diligently. He cleaned up after the job was completed. The new drain assembly looked and worked exactly as he had described.

We were extremely happy with Steve's service. He was prompt, courteous and very, very neat when working throughout the house. I would recommend him and will be using his services again soon.

Steve and his assistant installed crown molding in my Kitchen. Having tall cabinets and cathedral ceilings created a challenge for them but they were able to overcome them with accuracy. They made sure that the cuts were done to perfection especially the molding that had to be installed against the slanted ceiling. They took their time to achieve accuracy and perfection. My kitchen cabinets now look beautiful. It was wonderful to deal with them and I would not hesitate to use them again.

I was the one who gave Steve Fried The Handyman for your list and I was very satisfied with him. This time, he didn't want to do the yard work so I didn't use him. But he's gonna come back and paint my shed for me. He shows up on time, he tells you whether that's the work he's going to do or isn't. He realizes he's on an hourly salary so he never stops, he just keeps going, there's no stopping for lunch or anything else, he just keeps working and he's got a nice attitude and he does a good job. He's very nice and he's very good but there are some things he just doesn't do but he'll tell you out front, you know I don't do that, I'm not going to do that, or no. You know where you stand, you don't hire somebody and then they don't show up, I had one of those that I hired for the tree work and he never showed up. He's good on the price and I intend to use them quite a bit in the future as long as I got things that he would do.

. It was such a good experience, I have no negatives. Use him and you will be thrilled with the work and the man.
