Very Professional. Worked well with the building inspectors etc. They designed and built a dock, and a set of stairs to the side entrance of my house. They removed a cantilevered deck and replaced it with a large composite deck, which stopped water leaks into my basement. They also rebuilt and painted a small cantilevered deck. Excellent work.

This is the finest contracting company - they completed the job in a timely manner. Some of the Best workmanship that we have ever seen. Fred, Amber & the entire crew were simply the BEST. We love our new deck & will call them again for future projects. Thanks again for a superb job !!!

This was an involved project, involving both the deck and fence replacement, which Steel Penn did, in coordination with a second contractor who installed a paving stone porch underneath the deck. Since that work had to be done after the demolition of the original deck, the work of the two had to be coordinated. The other contractor did not quite adhere to the schedule, and that held up the project overall a bit, but Steel Penn folks were willing to reschedule the various parts of their work, so the net effect was smaller than it might have been. We are very pleased with the new deck. They did a great job, and left a very clean worksite. One of our neighbors is already planning to call them!

Steel Penn is a top notch professional contracting company employing very skilled trades people. They refurbished the exterior of my guest house to my greatest satisfaction. They were always on time, courteous and gave me peace of mind that the job would be perfect. I would recommend them without any reservations.

So polite and prompt! And clean and neat! What a treat to find someone who could fix my problem quickly and well. Next time I need help I'm calling Fred. This was a small job (thankfully!) but he fixed a big problem for me - a leaning deck post. He came quickly to analyze the problem, proposed a solution and then got it fixed in about 2 days. I am very grateful.

Fred and his crew were very efficient, came everyday until job was complete, the crew was very polite and respectful and very good at what they do!

I had a house renovation done 8 years ago and the back porch and steps were not done properly. I felt as if they were unsafe and not very attractive besides. I called Steel Penn and had the owner come out and tell me what he could do to make our porch exactly what we wanted. I could not be happier with the end result. Our porch and steps are better than we could have ever imagined. The design is beautiful and with the suggested changes, we have the porch and steps that our home deserves. Everyone who has seen the work done has been impressed! I would recommend Steel Penn anytime, in fact, we are having them help us with our next renovation. We hired Steel Penn to build a new deck off the kitchen of our home. From the very beginning they were in contact with us every step of the way. Amber and Fred answered all of my many questions and helped us feel at ease through the entire project. The workers were always there on time, cleaned up and the deck came out great! We also had our sliding doors replaced. The workers noticed a problem with them before they even opened up the package. We had them replaced and once we received the new set they came right out to replace them. I can't say enough great things about Steel Penn and would recommend them to everyone!

I found Steel Penn via home Home Advisor and I couldn't be happier. They were easy to get in touch with, speedy, kind, and very honest about timelines/when projects can be completed. No false advertisement. They came out in the rain to do the estimate on my skylights which i was shocked (but very thankful) for. They even rushed over for a separate task, when I urgently called because the siding of my house was flapping around in the wind!! Overall, I am VERY happy with the completed work and will definitely be calling them for future projects!

When somebody give you an invoice that is lower than the initial quote, it is always a good thing.

I had contacted Fred in the past for skylight repair and replacement. His guys did great work, all done in one afternoon. Cleaned up the whole house afterwards and didn't leave a single piece of garbage behind. Even when I saw that one small area was lifting up 2 days later he sent another crew out and resealed the entire kit twice over again. 2 months later and the windows are doing great but part of my siding peeled back on another side of my house due to high winds. I called and emailed the office at 4am before going up and simply putting a few nails in to hold things steady for the time being. Fred came by amidst his busy schedule, repaired the area in question even though they technically don't service those areas and then wouldn't even accept payment for his time. He gave me info of a reputable gutter repair team to have it replaced long term. This group goes above and beyond every chance they can get. I recommend them both for the quality of the work but even more because of the hospitality of how they run the business. Look forward to doing more renovations on the house with them in the future.

They did an excellent job and delivered everything they promised. President of company visited site every day his men were there to ensure quality. He even followed up on permits and inspections. Communication was superior throughout the job by President and administrative person. Honest and dependable. The best communication between any contractor ever!

Steel Penn did a fantastic job removing an old rotten fence including a gate and installing the brand new section along with new gates for a fraction of the cost I received estimates about. They were on time and didn't stop working until the job was done, even working into the night. They surprisingly completed everything in one day and cleaned up all the left over materials once the job was finished. I would definitely use them again.

I hired Steel Penn to replace my front steps, railing and landing. The crew was very nice and completed the job in 1 day. I would defiantly recommend them. Good job!
