We wanted a deck repair and upgrade that was safe ,maintainable , and modern. The task was made complex by the curvature of the original architecture. The team accomplished our goal with great expertise .They were meticulous, dedicated , professional and focused on the highest quality that they could provide. The owner was on site everyday and eager to please. Our next project will start with an estimate from this great company.

They seemed very nice at first but took forever to give me a quote. When I asked questions they were nasty and unprofessional. I would NOT recommend them.

Such a wonderful company to work with, honest and fast. Plan to use again in the near future.

Not only was their service prompt, the carpenters' that installed my patio door where very professional and meticulous. After realizing that the first door I purchased from a big chain store was defective, they went the extra mile by returning the very next day to reinstall another patio door due to the first door being defective. I would highly recommend these skilled professionals for any home improvement job. Each member of Steel Penn that we communicated with including the secretary, has been courteous and competent.

Fred and his staff are top notch. He took care of my deck ontime and on budget. I would recommend him for any home repair need.

Steel Penn Contracting did an excellent job repairing ceilings and installing a new window along with painting and new moldings in our place of business. Their response time was great. They were very neat and the carpenters are excellent. We will be using them again.

the company owner had our best interest in mind, they could have completed the project in 2 days but he was willing to hold off and wait for the good weather to set in before finishing which in turn made the project and finishing touches beautiful. In general, I have had a few doubts about the credibility of internet reviews. However, the experience with Penn Steel cleared any and all doubts I had. They were responsive, prompt, and their work was thorough. I definitely would hire them again!

From the initial contact with Fred White, to the execution of the project, things went "smooth as silk". Excellent job, hard/conscientious workers, with enormous attention to detail. The gentleman performing the work came back on Saturday of a holiday weekend to complete the work due to bad weather on Friday. Highly commendable. This was a “pain free/easy” project for me, the homeowner. I highly recommend Steel Penn & will be using them for future projects.

What can I say. Sometimes you get lucky. If your looking for someone who takes pride in his work and see that the job is done to your satisfaction you have to make sure you get Edward, Project Manager. He made sure everything was done right. The crew was a hard working crew, and Fred, owner would come and check the crew everyday. I have the pleasure of working with Fred and Steel Penn as they provide complementary services to our business. I use Fred for all my own work and recommend him frequently. He has never once disappointed and has surpassed expectations on every project.

If I was the least bit apprehensive in dealing with a contractor I never dealt with before, my feelings were immediately dissolved in meeting with Mr. White at the location I needed work He was professional, courteous and on time, which is unusual today. After looking over the projects I needed done and listening to some of his suggestions; he got back to me within hours with a very fair estimate. In addition he had the project done in a matter of days since it was a surprise project done as a Mother's Day gift. His employees did a phenomenal job in rebuilding a well that had been ignored for 20 years. Both Ed and John were reliable, efficient and very talented.
