I hired Jim to do a thorough home inspection on a home that I was purchasing. I was extremely happy with how detail oriented he was. He also spent time with me during the inspection to point out issues along the way which was extremely helpful to me. He is very polite, professional, patient, knowledgeable and humble which makes him very unique in this industry. I would hire Jim again to do my next home inspection in a heartbeat and will recommend him to all my friends and family.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about James Hartigan from Red-Tail Home Inspection. He was very easy to work with and thankfully was readily available which helped us meet our deadline. The great benefit to working with him aside from the inspection is that he has contracting knowledge and so he was able to give us feedback on contracting needs. He is also very thorough and so he takes his time inspecting the home and has the capability to explain things in a way that was very easy for us first time home buyers to understand. We asked if he could answer questions for us as he went along, which he thankfully accommodated. He demonstrates a strong sense of duty, transparency and respect for his craft. We would highly recommend him to anyone needing a home inspector.

Jim has essentially redone our home, deck, windows, kitchen, siding, roofing and finished basement. Work was immaculate and timely. I don’t even shop any longer...I just call Jim.
