+ 1 moreThis was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Mr. Mezini had originally come out to our home on less than 24 hours notice to tarp our roof, which had been damaged during Superstorm Sandy. We were expecting another storm and he showed up quickly and had the tarp in place in no time at all. When the insurance adjustor came to our home he remarked how well the tarp had been attached to our roof and stated it was the best job he had seen with all the houses he was working on. I contacted Mr. Mezini to get the roof, fascia and siding repaired per my insurance paperwork. Mr. Mezini and his crew showed up early on the day we had mutually scheduled. Mr. Mezini's crew worked on the repairs diligently for the entire day despite the weather turning cold and damp. When the job was completed Mr. Mezini came back to check on the job and make sure we were satisfied. We paid him upon completion of the work. My husband and I were impressed by his demeanor as he appeared more concerned about our satisfaction than in picking up the payment. In the future we will certainly call Mr. Mezini first when we need any other type of construction or roofing work.
Description of Work: Mezini replaced part of our roof, fascia and reattached siding which all had been damaged during Superstorm Sandy.

+ 0 moreOur sideing was cedar shake and in bad shape. We wanted to go as inexpensive as we could go. We got one very high estimate that was outrageous and a estimate that was the same as MEZINI GENERAL CONSTRUCTION INC, so I know that I was making the best business decision because the past work done by them was excellent. Today the heating and cooling of the entire is more efficient and more comfortable.
Description of Work: MEZINI GENERAL CONSTRUCTION INC was a very professional and friendly contractor. Genti was recommended by a friend from my job. He first replaced my roof when I first moved in 5 years ago and this past summer I called Genti for him to replace my siding in Garfield and we are very happy with the price, service and quality. I highly recommend MEZINI GENERAL CONSTRUCTION INC for any of your home improvement projects. Ed Marine

Description of Work: Superstorm Sandy tore off several shingles and the fascia from our roof. I contacted ServiceMaster as recommended by my insurance carrier to have a tarp put over the damage before the expected snow/rain event on 11/7. I did not call ServiceMaster until Monday, 11/6. Mezini called me back first thing on Tuesday and showed up within an hour and a half as promised. I believe it was the owner and he had 2 workers with him. The owner went up, inspected the damage and had the workers place a 20 x 20 tarp on the damaged roof. Mr. Mezini also removed a piece of the fascia that was hanging off the roof to avoid further damage. They performed the work incredibly fast and efficiently and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend.

Description of Work: They did some framing on my house and they put stone veneer on three sides of my house.
