So please with the results. never having used this product before I was totally at a loss as to what was the proper procedure. Brian was one of five estimates I had received. He gave me the best explanation and information on how to do the floor properly. He went above and beyond what I expected. He surpassed my expectations . To me the best part was he actually did the job within two days of me asking him when he could do it .

When removing an area rug from my dining room, I found the areas of damage to my home's original oak flooring (circa 1930). Estimates and solutions varied significantly. We chose Brian because he assured us that he could replace only the damaged floor boards and that the repair would seamlessly blend into the existing flooring. He was right and saved us a good deal of money. Additionally, he came quickly to give us an estimate and promptly did the work. Brian is highly experienced, does the work himself with a small crew and takes great pride in what he does.

Brian and his worker did an excellent job! We needed old stain (which is the combination stain/paint) removed. The last painter recommended the mix that is now used to ‘stain decks’ and it’s garbage. It’s called a stain but it peels off like paint. Brian was punctual and started work right away. The wood that needed to be replaced he took care of ASAP. Deck was done in 2 days. It looks brand new.

Brian is fantastic! We were out of town while the job was being done and he did a great job letting us know how the work was progressing and updates on when he would be done. I am really impressed by his excellent workmanship, professionalism and flexibility to do some detail work (e.g., varnishing the shoe moulding to match the baseboard, replacing some mismatched baseboard) to make the floors and the whole room look amazing! I highly recommend him! We are very pleased.

Brian did an excellent job from start to finish. He promptly responded to initial inquiry, came to house by next day, gave honest assessment of work to be done, made good recommendations, and gave reasonable estimates of time and costs. He replaced deck railings, reinforced spindles and bench, sanded down entire deck and steps, and applied 2 coats of deck stain. Because of work done, the deck is actually more secure and looks better than when it was originally built. Brian himself was always on job, was very responsive to questions and his helpers were cordial. Brian was very easy to work and I would highly recommend him. I did receive 2 other proposals for this project and Brian absolutely provided the best value at the best price.

Bryan Leger from Grain Flooring recently replaced some hardwood flooring that had gotten damaged during a home renovation project. This is not the first time I have hired Bryan. I have hired him and referred him on many occasions. His work is top notch. He is a true craftsman with decades of experience. All of the guys who work for him have been with him for many years and were trained by Bryan personally. He is always prompt and responsive, and his prices are very fair. Grain Flooring was very responsive and moved up the work to meet our deadline. Brian and his employee worked very diligently to remove carpeting,including stair carpeting which had extensive staples to take out. The flooring was installed quickly and well and the stair treads were refinished to match the existing flooring on the 1st floor as well as the new laminate flooring that Grain ha installed on the second floor. Brian, is the best.....he clearly knows everything about hardwood floors. His price was fair and the quality of work was awesome. He truly saved my old ugly floors and gave them new life. My husband and I just bought this house and were in the process of getting it ready before we finally moved in. Brian came by and gave us a consultation and estimated the work. He seemed very knowledgeable about floors but also general carpentry as well. He gave us some good tips on how to maintain our home. We are first time home buyers so we really appreciate the information. Brian and his team began on a Saturday and were done by Wednesday. They replaced the damaged boards, sanded everything and put 3 coats of poly on. The floors look brand new and exactly the color and finish we wanted in our house. He also lightly sanded our wood banisters and put a fresh coat of poly on them as they were a bit rough. They even fixed the loose lock we had on a door from the garage. My husband and I highly recommend Brian and his team. Great service all around. The price was reasonable and the results were beautiful! Thank you!

Brian is very knowledgeable and his work looks great online (and clearly, the reviewers think his work is great in person). His price was 1/3 more than the others so we went a different route. He noted that he was going to be more expensive than others because of his expertise and experience. I was under the impression that he was busy and didn't need our revenue, but it has been over 6 months since we've spoken and he continues to call.
