Description of Work: I did not use this company as a member of Angie's list but given the chance here, I can express just how bad this company was. I had a blocked up toilet that I was unable to clear on my own. So I called this company to help. The man who came was actually polite & respectful but the charge was outrageous. I can't remember exactly how much but it was a couple hundred dollars. I took a contract with them because it turned out to be cheaper. As part of the contract, I was offered a plumbing review to make sure nothing was leaking. The review included looking at my water heater, which had a wrap around it to protect it from the cold. The guy who showed up began by refusing to show me company ID. However, he had a company truck so I let him in. Big mistake! After checking my toilets for leaks, etc., he went out on my back deck to check my water heater. Without ever discussing with or notifying me, he ripped the wrap in several pieces halfway down the tank & left it like that. He claimed he needed some information off the tank but if he had asked me first, I could have given him a pair of scissors to cut up the seem then re-tape the wrap at the seem. When I asked him what he was going to do about it, he used black tape to try to put back all the pieces. When I told him that was not good enough and that I wanted a new wrap, he accused me of wanting something for nothing. I told him to leave and I called the office to complain. Eventually, a so-called supervisor came out to replace the black tape with the white tape. Again, I said that that was not good enough & that I wanted a new wrap. He refused. I told him I wanted my money back. He called the office to report that but nothing ever happened. Eventually, I had to call my attorney to send them a letter. When the letter finally reached the owner, he refunded the cost of the contract & sent me a check for the cost of the wrap. Their business practices are a disgrace & I would certainly never use them again.

Description of Work: Furnace did not work. They were just here ten days ago for the seasonal check. Passed. Ten days later I turn furnace on and it does not work. Second time this has happened. Don't trust the seasonal check anymore. Unsat.

Description of Work: Great service and would use again. The only negative is that the workers smoked on our screened in porch and left cigarette butts on our furniture. Other than that, we were pleased with the work.

Description of Work: Jake C. came to perform a scheduled annual inspection of our home plumbing. He was prompt, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. In addition to the scheduled inspection we asked him to check our garbage disposal, which had recently stopped working. Jake diagnosed the problem as electrical, and, at my request, scheduled a Sanders electrician to check the problem. A short time later, Eli Rivera of Sanders Home Services arrived to check out the garbage disposal. He confirmed Jake's diagnosis and promptly replaced the receptacle. He too was prompt courteous professional and knowledgeable. Because we routinely find the people from Sanders Home Services to be excellent, we go to them for any repairs or upgrades that we need and that they offer, including but not previously mentioned, HVAC. We have used Sanders for 4 or 5 years and have never been disappointed.
