+ 0 moreNo charge because I was under warranty. They are excellent. It's been so long since I've used them. They sent someone the next day. They came on time. They are great. After work was done, they explained what was done and why.
Description of Work: I had a clogged drain from the house out to the main sewage line. They subcontract and had someone come out and do that.

Description of Work: When we read the company's own reviews and found out how many complaints had been filed with the BBB, we decided not to use them. We had to use Angie's list staff even to find out where they were located.

Description of Work: I had an emergency - water literally running in my basement and flooding and they said they would have someone call me in 24 hours. I said I would be drowned by then. I used someone else even though I pay monthly for service from American Water Resources in case of emergency.

+ -1 moreCalled the company back. Told them to listen to the recording of my customer service conversation. They still denied me coverage and said Iowed the serviceman $50. I said that this "insurance" was a money-making SCAM. Boy, did the CS agent get loud then. I said that it was OK and that I'd be taking it to my elected representatives and the BBB. She still didn't budge. So, that's what I did. The BBB straigntened them out and they relented...while admitting no fault on their part. Sounds like a Congressional hearing, ya know?
Description of Work: I called the insurer for repair service for a small leak on a feeder line into a bathroom sink. I was told...Sure, no problem. The sub-contractor arrived, looked under the vanity and refused to even put a blob of solder on the drip. He said since the drip was above the shut-off valve I was not covered. I said...."WHAT?" Surely he was joking but -- nope. Then he presented me with a $50.00 service call bill. Oh, No he didn't. Oh, Yes he did. $50 for shining a flashlight under my sink. OH...I don't think so.

+ -1 moreThey guarantee the work. The service was excellent. They put up a bunch of plastic curtains to make sure that the work would not go to another part of the basement. The people were very friendly to work with. They also provided the work with 1 year of no interest and we can pay it off during that time.
Description of Work: They put a couple of drains in the basement. They knocked out a wall and put in drains that are now connected to a backup system.
