A List Concrete

Ron and his crew of 6 arrived when promised and got instantly to work. Two pavement sections had to be removed due to settlement and their connection to the front steps had to be cleaned up with a saw cut. The finished product is excellent. There was a very deep 3 foot square foundation in the back yard that was formerly used to support a ham radio tower. It was necessary to remove the top 12" so that it can be filled with soil and sodded. The foundation was full of rebar making this no easy task. It required quite of bit of jack hammering and many wheel barrows of debris. The end result was exactly what was requested. I would strongly recommend Ron and his crew for any of your concrete needs.

Everything went as promised. I liked the fact that I was told exactly what was going to happen and the times it was going to happen. I was also told how to take care of the new concrete.

Great. Ron and his crew were prompt and did a great job. They were fast, neat and kept me well informed on what was going on. They removed all materials and trash and cleaned up everything really well after they were done. I would recommended these guys for any job in the future.

I had a problem with water running down my driveway, puddling at the edge of the house, and seeping into the crawl space. Ron recognized that the sidewalk was not pitched correctly and suggested a new sidewalk, correctly pitched, to keep the water away from the house. I was skeptical at first since most contractors recommended a french drain and a rerouting of the gutters to solve the problem. The test of the new sidewalk was the next heavy rainstorm. It worked! No more damp smell in my basement! Thank you, Ron!

They were great! Ron answered my call the same day and gave me an estimate within 24 hours. He easily beat every other estimate I received. They showed up to do the work right when Ron said they would and they did an excellent job.

The initial contact was with owner. He gave me a window of time that he would be by for the estimate and arrived at the front end of that time period. He called the night before the job to give me the time. I was pleasing shocked that the same guy that came and gave me the estimate, the owner, was the same one that came out, with another worker, to do the job. They both were very attentive and answered all of my questions. They completed the job in less time than I was quoted and cleaned up everything. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

It took them six hours to finish the job. They had 4 workers come to do the job. They left the area immaculate when they were done.

Everything went smoothly. The owner was on-time at our first meeting and informed us about everything that needed to be done and gave us a fair, written quote with alternative choices. Once the project started he was in contact with us regarding the progress and what to expect and what we needed to do to ensure the best results. He always answered all my questions, and I had many, very promptly and with respect. There was one slight hitch due to a misunderstanding, which we questioned, and he immediately corrected. Overall I would rate this company an A+ and definitely use again.

GREAT! I highly recommend this company (and owner Ron Kominkiewicz). From my initial VoiceMail message on a Friday, Ron returned my call promptly and came to my house on the following Monday for an estimate. After receiving other estimates (which varied widely) and reconsideration of some of what I wanted done, Ron then came back to my house for another estimate. In addition to his pricing (the second-lowest estimate), there was just something about Ron that made me choose his company. He worked with me to arrange a schedule for when I would be home (although it was not necessary for me to be here) and did the job 3-1/2 weeks later, on Memorial Day weekend. Ron and his crew replaced two sections at the corners of my garage, replaced several missing bricks on my front steps (and re-installed the iron railing), repaired my back porch concrete steps by adding mesh so that the new concrete would adhere and, most importantly, replacing a section at the corner of my back porch (including adding rebar) immediately adjacent to the corner support to the porch roof. In addition, while his crew was finishing the final task and as a personal favor, Ron personally carried out several very large and heavy items from my basement to the curb [for trash] (these were items that have needed to be discarded for YEARS).

It's nice to see an honest hard-working company in today's world. Ron and his crew came to my home and pointed all the brick in the front walkway and cut some of the patio brick back in the rear of my home. They ran into a problem with the removal of the rear bricks, not knowing that under the bricks was 4-5 inches of re-enforced concrete! They removed it all and did not charge me one penny more than the agreed price. I certainly will use A-List Concrete for any future jobs. Thanks

The job went great. A list stayed as long as they needed to finish. The crew worked together and was professional. They cleaned everything at the end. I would use A - List again and highly recommend them.

Ron promptly returned my call and set up an appointment soon after that. We discussed several options and he gave me an estimate for each option right then and there. I had researched other concrete businesses and Ron's price for the job was the lowest. In addition to the reviews I read here on Angie's list, Ron gave me 2 pages of reference customers with phone numbers if I wanted any further information. I called Ron and told him he had the job and he said it would be about 3 weeks out before he could get to me which was fine. I asked him to give me a week's heads up and he did this as well. He arrived early on Monday with his crew and finished the first half of the job that day. They came back the second day and completed pouring the concrete which looks fantastic. All my neighbors are impressed with the quality of Ron's work and the way they cleaned up the job site. I would definitely use A List Concrete again.

Ron and his guys were here at the time they said they would be and completed the job in two days. They were fast, efficient, and neat workers. We think they did a great job and would use them again.

It all went great! The new patio looks nice and efficiently guides rain water away from my house. The front walkway was a bit tricky due to a drainage system that was installed. Ron and his crew were able to extract and re-install the drainage system without any damage. The price we paid was much less than the other who quoted the job, too. We would gladly re-hire A-List Concrete for future jobs.

Ron and his crew arrived early in the morning as scheduled and went right to work. Part of the agreed upon work, was to remove six 4x4 posts in the ground. What was not mentioned were two massive hunks of concrete and posts that I had already pulled out of the ground. Ron and crew hauled these off as well without me having to even ask. That was a load off my mind because I wasn't sure how I was going to get rid of them. To top it off, they left the place cleaner than how they found it. I had scrap wood on the side of the house that they used for a ramp to get their wheel barrels up the steps. Before they finished, they neatly stacked all of the wood (most of which they didn't even use). A+ job by A List Concrete.

From our initial meeting, to the completion of the project, Ron's professional manner and dedicated work ethic was always apparent! To use my husband's exact words "He's an incredible worker!" His whole team knew exactly what needed to be done and together, like a well oiled machine, they removed the old concrete, poured the new, and cleaned up everything before they left! Shortly after buying our house, the homeowner's insurance company sent us a letter stating that if we did not repair certain sidewalk blocks in front of the house, they would cancel our insurance. This was very unexpected and we were concerned about how much it would cost us. I called several concrete companies to come out. The owner of A-list was very responsive in coming out to give a quote and the price was very reasonable. Scheduling was easy and the work was completed within a week or so of my initial call. If you are in need of similar work, I would give him a call.

Ron was such a nice guy! He came out for an estimate the day I called him. He was polite and courteous. His quote was much less than the other estimates I received. He came to do the job almost immediately. The work he did turned out very nicely. A year later, it still looks as good as the day he poured it. He kept the work area clean and protected my front door from splatter. He cleaned up everything well. About a week later, he even sent a thank you note to thank us for our business. Never have I ever seen this before and it was such a nice finishing touch. After the job was finished I called him a few times with questions about caring for the new concrete. He had no problem taking time to go over things with me. Ron was an overall great guy who does lovely work. No regrets here!

Ronald came out very promptly and on a weekend to give us an estimate. His quote was the best we received. We decided to not move forward with the project as some other house repairs ate up our budget, but I would call them again when we can move forward.
