Gumps Electric Inc

Gumps was one of three companies from which I requested a quote for my EV charger installation. They were the most helpful in explaining exactly what needed to be done and why they were charging what they recommended. This was something I didn't get from other companiewho just sent me a "black box" quote. Electric vehicles and their complexity are new to most people and a company taking the time to explain the ins and outs of their quotes and the work they propose is a big plus. In terms of cost, they were the middle of the pack. I'd recommend them to anyone needed electrical work.

It was a pretty difficult project at no fault of the service provider. The first fan required three receivers and the second fan required two receivers, which required them to replace all the receivers. They worked very hard and repaired everything efficiently; the owner even came out and assisted in the work and I was ultimately satisfied with the service.

My experience with him was excellent! The gentleman that they sent out, Greyson was very good! I specifically said that next time I have works that needs to be done, I would want him. His price was reasonable. I actually, the price was less than what I expected it to be. He's very good! He cleaned up after he was done. He was pleasant to deal with, and he was efficient. In addition, he came exactly when he said he would. He's very professional! I would definitely use him again in the future.

I couldn't be more pleased with this company. A friend recommended them, so I called and scheduled an estimate to repair/replace any wiring and junction boxes that had been damaged by flooding from Hurricane Sandy. I spoke with Donna, who was very professional. They came out, assessed the damage, and gave me an estimate of about $1300. (A previous Hurricane Sandy price-gouger wanted to charge me $8300.) When I had them come back to do the work, they were prompt and professional. The communication was excellent throughout the whole process. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Fast, efficient, polite and experienced with manual transfer switch intallation the work started at 0930 and ended at 1230 (3 hours). Area was well cleaned after job was performed. The bill came 2-3 days later and I was very happy with the overall cost. Much less then I had expected due to the efficiency of the installer. Highly recommended would use again.

I didn't mind the gentleman that came out. He seemed nice. They got me the estimate within a couple of weeks. The only thing about the estimate was that it was not complete. I had to call back and say some of the things that I wanted in the estimate weren't there. He seemed pretty knowledgeable. He came right out within a day or two. He walked through the house with me and explained everything with me. I'm actually getting electrical work done by somebody else who gave me a little better estimate price wise. They seemed like they would be more willing to do what I wanted to do. Only because of my own neurotic self I wanted more things replace where Gumps said I didn't have to do it. They were trying to save me money which I appreciated, but at the same token I wanted certain things done and I'm sure he would have done them but this other gentleman seemed to be more understanding right off the bat. His original price was lower anyway, so I'm having him do the work.

They had excellent customer service and they were on time. They offered to send a team of electricians and it would cost a certain price. They said that if my husband was handy, they would only send one electrician and it would cost a certain price. We probably saved about 50 percent with my husband helping. They offered that to us freely. It was wonderful. They give excellent service. He drove a hole by accident in the wrong place, but it was not a big deal because it is covered up.
