Ace Plumbing, Heating & Electrical Supplies Inc

I was purchasing materials for work that a contractor was completing. I went to Ace Plumbing, Electrical, and Hardware to buy a list of materials including tub, toilet, toilet seat. The saleswoman talked me out of getting a Cast Iron tub, and recommended the acrylic tub for retaining heat. She showed me a tub on the sales floor, and I proceeded to sit in it to assure it was big enough. I agreed to buying the tub that was on the sales floor. I took the tub home (thinking it was exactly what was on the sales floor) and left it in the box for my contractor to install. When I came home from work and saw the tub, I realized it was tiny. (Seriously, the smallest tub I ever saw.) My husband called the store; not only did we get the wrong size, we found out that we got a porcelain tub. We were told that because it said, "Americast", we should have known that we didn't get an acrylic tub. Also, the saleswoman lied and said that I commented that the tub on the sales floor was too big! (OUTRAGEOUS!!) I was called a liar, and apparently my ignorance about tubs is my fault and they would not refund anything! When my husband wrote a negative review on Google, the owner of the company, Larry, told my husband that if he didn't remove his review, he would contact a lawyer. I strongly recommend that NO ONE buy anything there! The saleswoman is incompetent. The manager insulted me. And, the owner threatened my husband. Unfortunately, I have learned a harsh lesson- NEVER, never trust a salesman.
