The service was horrible. I had a problem where my boiler was backfiring. A service tech came out and replaced a pressure relief valve and the expansion tank (which needed to be done) for approx. $500. My boiler continued to backfire. The tech returned and replaced a computer module. I was over the home that the computer module $50 less than what I was charged on the bill that I received. I was also overcharged for a half hour of labor (approx. $70) when the tech had to returned to the business to pick up more parts to complete the job. The second bill was just over $500 for the part and labor. The system continued to backfire! I call and spoke to owner. He was not helpful and did not refund the money for the part or labor. I ended up calling the gas company. The gas company came out and said that they thought that the gas valve needed to be replaced and that the gas valve should have been looked out before the replacing the computer module. I called another plumbing company. The gas valve was replaced for $250 and I've had no problems with the boiler. Save your money do not use Al's Plumbing. Terrible service!

The job was completed but the charge for labor is completely outrageous. Watch out as they do not specify a time frame on when they would show up or any inclination on how much or how they charge you.

I was led to believe by a manger that a water service hook up was included. It was not. After the work was completed I was presented with two separate bills. The result: I was charged approx $400 more than a reasonable price for the heater itself. (the conclusion after conversations with the water heater manufacturer and a plumbing wholesaler). When I asked for written details on how this work price was arrived at, I was told "no". Shame on me, I had accepted a verbal quote on the work (as this was a 15 year relationship that until now was a trusted one). I tried to engage the owner of this company in a conversation about my concerns but received no response. To be fair, the owner may not have received my messages. Perhaps my communications had been screened. Note: The actual installation was performed with excellence ...(as usual) thanks to the great hands-on trades people employed by Al's, but the way I was treated by management has persuaded me to go elsewhere for future pluming needs.
