MY MOVE WENT VERY SMOOTH. 3 MEN WORKED TOGETHER TO MOVE ME OUT OF MY APARTMENT AND INTO MY NEW PLACE. ALL MY FURNITURE WAS WRAPPED NICELY AND NOTHING GOT BROKEN. THEY PLACED EVERYTHING NICELY INTO MY NEW APARTMENT. THEY WERE KIND AND COURTEOUS TO ME AND VERY HELPFUL. I WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN THE FUTURE.

We faced a daunting task when our house was sold and we had to move from the New Jersey to Texas. We had read and seen shows on TV about unscrupulous moving companies. They gave you a low price and then doubled or tripled it when they arrived at your new home demanding a cash payment to unload your furniture. After talking to several movers we chose Charles Movers. We talked to a Godwin on the phone and he made an appointment with us to come to our house and see what we had to move. He spent three hours there. He explained the many options we had. He could have his men come over and pack every thing or we could pack some ourselves, saving money. As we had to set up our house for the staging of the sale, we opted to rent a storage unit to pack and move some of our things at a leisurely pace. A week later Godwin called and asked to come over and see how things were progressing. He checked out our packing and made some suggestions and even packed one piece of art work to show us the method we should use. He also advised us to get another unit that was temperature controlled for our many pieces of art work. After the sale of our house we called Godwin and notified him of our closing date. He gave us a date three days before that date to insure getting everything moved out. The day of the move Godwin showed up with his crew and a tractor and trailer. They dropped the trailer and proceed to load it. In the meantime a box truck went to the storage facility and load our boxed belongings and our art work. They then unloaded the that truck onto the trailer. Godwin gave us the date the trailer would arrive at our new home. There was on other thing that I failed to mention. My wife and I had an old antique water bed. It was wooden with a head board with a mirror and was very heavy. Godwin supervised the disassembling and packing of the bed. Godwin flew to our new home and showed up at the same time as his crew. He made sure every piece of furniture was okay and placed where we wanted it to go. He was particular in reassembling the waterbed. All in all the cost of moving was a very reasonable price, and the feeling of comfort and confidence with Charles Moving was priceless. My wife and I would highly recommend them to anyone, whether moving locally or across country.
