It's all about the $$$ to this company. I had a serious issue where my local town water department might have had to be called to turn off the water main at the street. Instead of investigating further which A LOCAL PLUMBER DID IMMEDIATELY and turned the water off just by knocking on my attached neighbors door, this company immediately started saying they would require $175.00 an/hr wait time until Water Department showed up. I kindly asked them to leave.

identified the problem. had to go out to a plumbing supply for the part. on his return he was quick and cleaned up. did not realize he had broken something unrelated until later.

Very expensive - but quality of work is great! Had new countertops installed and needed a plumber to disconnect/reconnect and install a touch faucet and disposal in a cabinet opening of only 15". The plumber was very knowledgeable of the install.

Woke up in the morning to several inches of water in my basement, as my 50 gal water heater had broken and leaked all the water out. This company was able to send someone within an hour of my call and the tech was professional and explained the options quickly and completed the work within 2 hours. The new hot water heater works great. We will definitely call them again if we need any more work like this.

Review is for the sewer/plumbing crew. They were exceptional from start to finish. The Air Conditioning department I used afterward? That's a bit of a different story.

At first the Sewage ejector pump leaked but they brought someone back over the weekend to fix it.

Hoff Brothers absolutely fabulas ,did not did up the whole front yard done in 4 hours water main from curb into the house shot a bullet through the ground ran pipe,unbelievable

They were very informative and replaced my water heater the same day. I would definitely recommend them for hire.

BUYER BEWARE! I was quoted $799 for water heater install as long as no "modifications" were needed, in which case there would be an additional charge.( My heater was leaking and I was nervous about a potential flooding situation so I was vulnerable). That additional charge turned into an additional $627 to increase the 3" exhaust to 4" and to change out the gas cutoff switch. When I called the manager I was told that the charge was not excessive because I did not qualify for the discounted price because of the "modifications", and besides that's what Lowes, Home Depot, and PSE&G charge. (They really seem to like this word). I needed unrelated plumbing work on 2 other pipes so I had occasion to have 3 other plumbers in just a few days. Each had at least 15 years experience and just as a matter of fact I questioned each one about costs to install the water heater, with "modifications". I was quoted $980, $1000 and $1100. The 3 plumbers did say that the work seemed to be well done, but my rating of 3 for work quality was because there was little to no cleanup after the work. You'd think that for $1426 they'd have the decency to clean up the mess!. Draw your own conclusions.

First class service - incredibly knowledgeable! I was extremely impressed. From the first conversation to the end of the install, James earned my respect and confidence. Presented all of my options, educated and guided me to purchasing a product that was right for my home. When they did the install, they were respectful of my property and living situation, installed my tankless system quickly - but did a solid job. When they left, the area was neat and cleaner then when they started. Would absolutely recommend! Stellar job!

This company was good for small jobs, such as the clog that I had cleared. However, when they gave me a quote for a complete sewer line replacement, they only offered one solution and it was very, very expensive. I will not be hiring them for the sewer line, but I would call them again for a leak, clog or such.
