I own a rental property and live out of state. My tenant was complaining of a very foul odor coming from the basement. There did not appear to be any leaks but it was hard to track down. Having searched Angie's List, I found this provider had an A rating. I read the reviews and it encouraged me to try them. True to previous reviews, my call was returned in a timely manner. I'm sorry, I forget his name now, but he was very professional. One of his team members was sent to the house the very next day, he found and resolved the problem. There were plugs in the sewer line that were loose and or rotted. They were replaced with the fit-all plugs. The tenant was very happy with the turnaround. I was sent a bill electronically, which I promptly scheduled for payment. I was very happy with the whole experience and have no hesitation recommending RuDan's services.

Worker was very professional; Yet, I don't believe having the certificate saved any money.

Tim was very punctual and friendly arriving on time on a very rainy day. When he came into the house He was respectful and had no problem explaining the process of the job and the costs involved. I really appreciated it when he put booties on to come in the house so he would not soil the floors. The work took about one hour and everything went well.

I can't say enough good things about Rudan plumbing. From first contact they have been great to work with. We purchased our home about 2 months ago. While we were under contract and negotiating no other plumber would come out for a free estimate. Not only did they come out for an estimate but after some comparison shopping they were by far the most affordable. In all our experiences with them they have been friendly, professional, reliable and prompt.

Friendly and helpful. Responded quickly to my phone messages about the need to replace the diverter. Arrived right on time, quickly replaced the diverter, then RuDan noticed there was an additional problem with the sprayer. Replaced the sprayer, and now all is well. Not the cheapest, but RuDan did a good job and I would definitely use them again.

Very pleased with the professionalism. Called back to schedule an appointment and answer questions when he said he would. Came on time. Showed initiative regarding the brace for the internal pipe. Also reminded us about coupon which he honored. Also provided estimate for 90-year-old concrete basement sink replacement which we are considering.

The thing we liked about him is he went through our house with us, went through different things that had to be done and problem areas for plumbing. He gave us rough estimates for everything. He is very down to earth and straightforward. When we did our work with him in December, it was right before the holiday. The great thing about him was, he was able to arrange and do the work right before Christmas. When a boiler blows it is an emergency. They were very good. We even had problems afterwards and the boiler shorted a couple of times and he had to come in that weekend. He still came, troubleshooted and was here for another four hours trying to figure out what was wrong. The service was exceptional.

Rudan gave me a lecture about using the home depot Kohler parts vs. the ones he provides when installing a faucet/drain and told me how I needed to use his sink drain. He was supposed to install it himself, as promised, but sent his junior instead who didn't even have the "upgraded" drain fixture he lectured me about. He then charged more than the $168 amount per clog to clean out the drain per his verbal quote. The sink and faucet work fine but he used the cheapo drain that came with the home depot faucet and never had the upgraded parts. Very responsive to showing up for the quote but not to do the work himself.

Very professional. Plumber took the time to walk me through every inch of the main line to try to determine problem spots. Did targeted jet cleaning, admitted when their equipment could not handle the extreme build-up in the line and recommended the right company to help us.

I called RuDan Plumbing on a Friday afternoon. Rui Called me back within a short period of time. I told him what the problem was, he told me the price for the labor, and said if I needed materials, that would be extra. I asked him what was the soonest that he could fix the problem, and he said the next day. He came as he promised, fixed the clogged drain, and charged me what he said he would. He was punctual, pleasant, and professional. After the job was completed, I asked him about another plumbing related problem I had. He told me he would have to do to fix the problem, and he also informed me about a possible problem I could have. I appreciated the way the he explained things to me, was up front about the possible issues, and upfront about his pricing. I like this kind of transparency, and I am considering using him again

While installing the drain portion of the faucet kit, he replaced pipes under the sink that had not been replaced since 1963 and that another plumber had given me a quote at over $750 to bring up to date. Rui was punctual, professional, and not at all put off by the challenges under my bathroom sink.. The drain is running better than ever, and I would definitely recommend.

This is the 2nd time I have used RuDan in about a year. I rely on Angie's List because it is a rental property and I live out of state, so I need someone professional, punctual and reliable. RuDan is all of that and more. Rui is the owner and he is very responsive. Calls back quickly, and knowing it was a blocked drain, squeezed us in that same day. Problem solved quickly and for a reasonable price. I am happy to recommend him, and happy that I now have a competent and reliable plumber for my rental property in NJ.

First off, Rui had excellent communication. He quickly contacted me to schedule a visit to go over my to-do list. He spent well over an hour reviewing what I wanted, how it would work, what he would do, etc. He then emailed a detailed estimate. After I approved, he scheduled the work for later in the week across two days. Both days he and his worker actually showed up early! The actual installation including all the new piping looks secure and neat. I tried not to get in the way while they worked, but Rui was glad to answer questions I had about what they were doing. I am confident in the finished project. Very glad to have hired him.
