I think they are competitively price. They have been great!

I reviewed these people after the first time they came in March, 2016, thinking that the problem had been fixed even though they charged an outrageous amount of money ($950.00). I was led to believe the work was time-consuming and, therefore, costly. After I agreed to the price ($750 plus parts and tax), he spent no longer than 15 minutes to fix it. A few days later I realized the pipe was still leaking. Same guy came back and, after trying to blame the leak on a multitude of other things, finally admitted it was the same issue. He tightened the trap and, once again, it appeared to be fixed. I was not confident, however, and did not get the sheetrock fixed luckily. Just this week (6 months later), I confirmed that the very same pipe is still leaking. Needless to say, I will not be calling these guys back EVER. I have to wonder how these guys have an A rating on this site and, consequently, how useful this site is.

They were pretty good. I've used them a few times. They were reliable. They did a good job. I can't think of any negative. The price was average.

Things went *mostly* well; they returned my call, gave me a quote (which didn't seem too outrageous) and came when they said they would. There was some miscommunication with what I needed done and when. I clearly stated that I didn't want both things done at the same time and yet he came and did both. Thankfully I was able to squeeze that money out of my wallet, but what if the job were bigger? The guy was kind of obnoxious when I said something to him. Whatever. There are other plumbers.

He came within two hours, very professional. Prompt service at a good price.

There was no issues there, they came in, it took about twenty minutes, they even replace an old copper sitting with a newer version that is not going to leak and they upgraded some of our equipment and that help to prevent future issues.

I left a message Friday afternoon and got a call to setup an appointment within a half hour of contacting them. They were at my house within the next half hour and eventually decided to replace the the water heater in the morning. Early morning at 8AM they were at my house and ready to go. Even with a change to piping for the flue and a gas valve, everything was installed and cleaned out in under 3 hours.

I appreciated their coming on an emergency basis as this is my only bathtub/shower and water had leaked all over the kitchen ceiling below the bathroom. They worked efficiently and professionally to locate the problem and repair it. They did tell me before they began that it would cost $750 plus material to fix. Since I had no idea what the cost should be (and not wanting to pay them $125 for a service call only to have someone else tell me the same thing), I agreed. Now that I have looked into it however, it seems I was grossly overcharged (like double or possibly close to triple). They were in my house for almost exactly one hour. So while they may do good work (I can only hope this repair holds up), I will not be calling them again. I would have rated them an A on professionalism if not for the significant overcharge.

Rudan Plumbing installed three new baseboard radiators, mounting them to the basement wall and replacing ½? copper feed and return lines. The workers were both competent and professional: the radiators perform as expected, and the copper pipes are secured firmly so they don?t knock. The overhead piping in our basement contained several ancient shut-off valves that occasionally dripped water, causing puddles to form on the cement floor below. The boiler drain and bathtub tailpiece also leaked. Rudan replaced all parts with modern equivalents, and the basement has been dry ever since. The job took two plumbers about eight hours. They were prompt, courteous, and cleaned up the mess afterwards. Have already recommended Rudan Plumbing to the neighbor!

A ninety-year-old cast iron sewage stack was leaking at a ?wye? joint. Two plumbers from Rudan Plumbing arrived on time Thursday morning and promptly got down to business by cutting out a section of the 4? stack where the ?wye? joint was leaking, and replaced it with PVC. The job took about three hours, including cleanup. There have been no leaks since: good work, Rudan!

Called RuDan at a little after 9 on a Saturday morning with a clogged drain that had backed up into my slopped sink. They sent someone right over and the whole job was completed within an hour of my calling them. The gentleman assisting me (didn't catch his name) was extremely courteous. Probably could get the work somewhat cheaper elsewhere, but the responsiveness and professionalism are well worth paying for.

I needed a plumber to reconnect piping under my sink. I called Rudan because they had excellent reviews on Angie's list. I was charged $400 just for labor. The job took about 35 minutes. At the time, I didn't realize this (fist time homeowner!) but since then I have been told by everyone that this is quite excessive. He gave me the price before starting work and I agreed. So, I guess I shouldn't complain. But just a word of caution to everyone. Shop around and get the best price. Don't assume you are getting a fair rate. The work quality was decent and the guy showed up on time.

Prompt, timely, courteous service to unclog a tub drain. Very friendly, accommodating service man. The service was $185. I had a leak in the basement two days later and another serviceman came immediately and diagnosed a refrigerator issue (for which he recommended an appliance man). I was very impressed that he found the root of a problem we couldn't figure out and that he came so quickly. This service was $85. No discount was offered, but when I asked, $25 was taken off the bill to make it $60.

Tim was the plumbing engineer. Quick response to make an appointment. The connection to the waste outlet was tricky due to the drawers in the cabinet. Tim provided several creative solutions to accommodate the pipes. Made the necessary connections efficiently and very professionally. Very pleased with the outcome and will use RuDan again, especially Tim again. Top guy!

I called the night before and left a message with RuDan Plumbing. I had used them before and was quite happy. Early the next morning I got a call and agreed to have them come that morning and fix the problem. The owner showed up and fixed everything in about an hour. Like the last time the house was left clean and neat with everything working. (the last time was a toilet problem) They gave me net 30 days to pay the bill which I was happy to do the day I received it in the mail. I like this company. The do quality work and behave in a professional manner. I hope it isn't necessary, but I would certainly call them again if needed.

I called in the early morning and was able to get an evening appointment the same day. I have a hectic commuting schedule and didn't want to take a half-day off from work. He was very accommodating and it was greatly appreciated.

Got up in the morning today and was removing the tank top when it dropped and broke, cracking the toilet; water everywhere. Checking reviews for plumbers, read very positive reviews for RuDan and called, leaving a message with my problem. Talked to Rui shortly afterwords, and he was able to send someone out an hour later. TIm arrived and quickly removed the broken toilet and installed the new bone Gerber toilet provided by RuDan. All the work was completed in 90 minutes, and the new toilet looks great. Very professional job by Tim, the price was a little higher than I hoped for, but I highly recommend RuDan!

It went well. The plumber and assistant were professional and cleaned up after they were done. The only concern I had was that the main filter required that it needed flushing out with water before installing (according to installation guide). They installed it without flushing. This resulted in water that tasted chemically for a few days. I think this was the plumber's first Aquasana installation. After a few days, water tasted great! No issues to date with the plumbing at all! They were great and did a good job overall!

RuDan arrived on time and scoped the main line out of the house to check for any repairs that were needed. They arrived promptly and we were satisfied with the work.

They are wonderful,their price was very good. They explained everything to me. They did a good service. They came when they will come. They were great with time and were open for questions.

The tech did arrive on time, and he listened to my requests, although he discouraged me from performing any type of work in the 1st floor restroom. he told me that because of the "size" of the toilet, it would clog frequently, and it was typical of that size toilet? I wasn't going to write a negative review, although now I am plunging the toilet almost every day, after a few flushes. I feel that if it was snaked, the problems might at a minimum, decreased a little.

You get what you pay for. I had a new garbage disposal to install, and hired a guy (not RuDan) recommended by another service (not Angie's). That guy was cheaper, but did a sloppy job connecting the disposal to the drain. A couple of days later, I noticed it had leaked somewhere around the rubber connecting pieces he had used after cutting the PVC. The other guy said he'd come fix it, but was a no-show and didn't return my calls. I previously used RuDan for another job last year and was pleased, so I hired them again to fix the mess. They were prompt and professional all the way in redoing the drain plumbing the previous guy hacked. I had thought I could save money by using the other guy, but in the end, it cost me more by not just hiring RuDan in the first place. Lesson learned -- definitely I will just call Rui from the beginning next time.

Everything went fine. I was happy with the service and would use them again.

When I spoke with initial person on phone (I guess Ru, but cannot confirm) I specifically asked what the cost was just to come out and tell me what issue is. I was quoted $85 and was also told that it would be waived if they ended up doing any work. I agreed to that. We scheduled for the next day and someone, I believe "Tim" or "Tom" came out with assistant. They learned that due to hose in back that had frozen and water backed up from foundation and told me that nothing really could be done since it wasn't a plumbing issue other than shutting off water to hose, which they did. When it was time to discuss payment, I was told that just for the VISIT was $185 and if I wanted them to pump out the water from the basement, it would be another $140 on top of the $185. I then informed him of what I was quoted on the phone and he said that was incorrect. So in an effort to hurry and end the encounter so I could go to work, I reluctantly agreed to pay the $185. He then asked "How did you hear about us?" I said "Angies List" and magically, he then decided he would do me a "favor" and pump out the water from the basement. I paid the $185 which he again reminded me was a "Deal" and went on his way.

A good experience with a "bad" problem. I left an inquiry message in the evening and by next morning had a response from RuDan. Explained the problem and sent photos of the clean out port. The representative warned me that I may need a plug to re-close the port before coming. Two people came right on time. One experienced plumber and a helper. They covered the floor and wall with a drop cloth and plastic to leave a very clean work place. The unclogging took some time and they were quite thorough going at it. Afterwards, they checked several times how well the water drains. When the clean up was completed the experienced plumber discussed options available for future maintenance of the drain and offered advice on improving the currently poorly built sink plumbing. Overall, the service was excellent.
