Ray's HVAC

I contacted Ray's HVAC expecting to be told they would not be able to come for a few days, but they came the next morning and I contacted them after 7pm the night before. I was glad because it was going to be cold that night and even colder tonight. They were kind enough to call me at work so I could meet them when they were ready to be at my house as I work close by. They had my heat running in a short time and replaced an on/off switch to the boiler. All in all I would highly recommend this company. Very good service.

Andrew was awesome. They got the part earlier than we thought and fixed the issue - after coming quickly to give us a temporary fix too! Then my parents had them do work on their boiler and they were able to help within one day of the call! Highly recommend-so grateful!

They were able to get our tech Isiah out day of to see what the problem is. He then came back the next day and had it all fixed up within a couple of hours. He was professional and explained exactly what was wrong. We had a great experience with Rayâ s. Definitely would recommend our tech Isiah.

I had an awesome experience with Ray’s HVAC. As a new homeowner, I was totally overwhelmed when my boiler sounded like a wrench got thrown into it and the heat was no longer working. Ray was extremely easy to communicate with and his tech, Isaiah, came out the next day and fixed the issue with a gas valve replacement and boiler flush. The service was friendly, efficient, and very reasonably priced. I would recommend Ray’s HVAC to anyone, especially those new homeowners like myself. No need to feel overwhelmed, just call Ray!

Isaiah was the mechanic who serviced my home. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He provided an accurate assessment of the time it would take to complete the job and did it in the scheduled time. He was thorough with his work. I would highly recommend their service.

Ray himself called literally within a couple of minutes of our Home Advisor inquiry. The tech showed up very quickly, diagnosed our central air conditioner's problem, and had it repaired within a few hours. He was professional and personable (and masked for Covid) throughout. The rate compared favorably with other services we used in the past. Highly recommended.

I spoke to Ray the owner on the phone and he was friendly, professional, and patient. He got a man out to service our central AC very quickly. The service technician Andrew was also helpful and friendly. The diagnosed the problem, gave me the price, and then fixed it. They were both very helpful and I highly recommend them.

Diagnosed the problem that other contractor misdiagnosed and put bad parts.

My initial review was completely off base. I felt helpless from shoddy service provided by Service Professionals and lashed out at Ray's who came second and ran into my buzz saw. In fact Ray's service was exemplary. I called on Friday at 5:30PM seeking the removal of dead blower fan motor and installation of brand new motor which I had purchased directly. They had a technician at my house by 7:20 AM the next day (Saturday morning). This was in the middle of a protracted heat wave and I'm sure Ray's HVAC had many customers calling. I was a first time customer and they came that fast. Wow!! But how do you know who you trust? After a previous contractor diagnosed the problem as a bad fan motor, Rays, a second contractor came to swap out the fan motor with a new motor I personally purchased and paid $743 for. After the swap he told the A/C is still not working because the control board not signaling motor to start so control panel is bad. Now A/C not working waiting for control panel to be ordered and received. Told the panel, depending on its complexity should cost somewhere around $600-700. I have no idea what they intend to charge me for installing new control panel. So, I have paid $300 for A/C not working and have to pay additional $600-$1,000+ for it? For a new control panel to make it work. I asked them why there was no way to test the *bad* motor in the first place to determine if it was good or bad so I could have order the control panel instead of the motor in the first place. They said no... Their parts supplier could put it on the bench and test if the removed motor was good or not. You try to do something on your own to save some money on a big ticket part and they get you anyway. But the problem all arose from low coolant causing coiled freeze up causing motor seizure and ice melting from coils caused water to get on control panel and make it go bad. Had my normal Service Professionals HVAC man done the pre cooling season service (which I pay monthly/every month for a service plan)....WHICH THEY HAVE NOT YET DONE....they would have caught the critically low coolant and prevented the motor seizing from coils icing up, and melting ice sending water onto control panel and ruining that. All in all $2500 expenses I had to pay to get it running again which was completely avoidable if Service Professionals had been doing what I pay them for. I would give Service Professionals a .5 (1/2 of 1 point) ratings and Ray's HVAC and overall 4.75 rating

I love this company they really know the ins and outs of Hvac systems. When I called for the first time the owner(Ray)called me back right away.He listened to my assessment of the problem, and offered to send someone out the very same day. When one of his team members came out to my home not only was he on time he was also very knowledgeable,mannerable, and courteous. They take all the Co-vid 19 precautions very seriously so you don t have to worry about that (he had on his mask and gloves.) Once he talked with my husband and I about what we were experiencing with our unit, he went right to work. He diagnosed the problem right away, and tried to find ways to fix the problem without me having to pay the 10,000 dollars that two of his competitors recently quoted me. The end result is my unit is now working and, I m no longer in sweltering heat. Thank you soooo much Ray s Hvac Team!!!!!!!
