Hugh came highly recommended from a friend and didn't dissapoint. He Is relaxed and low-tech on the admin side, but professional where it matters. He gave a detailed written estimate, maintained good contact throughout the job. His crew were extremely friendly, courteous, worked cleanly, started quickly, worked on Saturdays to make sure they finished the job in time for us to move in.
He was flexible with working around other subs including floor refinishing and electrical, which turned out to require a lot more holes including in some prepped work.
The final product looks immaculate and all touch up was included, including a freshly painted windowsill we damaged ourselves with a badly installed air conditioner.
There were a couple of additional charges from the initial estimate, due to cracked windows and rotting boards that needed replacing, patching electricians holes and an additional wall that needed sheetrocking after the panelling that was there was replaced, but these were all communicated well and reasonably priced.
I would not hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to others.
