Description of Work: Estimate and layout for new deck.was on time Ann was straight to the point.found out exactly what we wanted within the first 5 minutes made a beautiful drawing and explained every detail dust over the next half hour. Showed us things that we didn't even know we wanted but now we know we need to have. Was an excellent experience and my wife is excited to get the project started

Description of Work: requested estimate on new brick stairs. Told me he would come by to give estimate. never showed up. contacted him again. asked him about coming by for estimate. told me his mason went to florida. thanks for letting me know. Have yet to use angie's list. not feeling to confident. Considering cancelling.

This angies list member contacted my company and had asked me if we did masonry steps. I had told him we did but my master mason was leaving for Florida in a week to do some rehab work. I said to this client if he had time before he had to leave that I would have him call . If not I couldn't help him and told him that there was not anthying I could do. The client then called me three weeks later and wants to know why no one called him. Don't things sink in.

This review is not at all representative of the facts of this interaction. The member had initially requested information on a "normal sized" bathroom remodel, but one that included individual quotes for various parts of an entire job priced and completed separately. I responded to her request within 3 minutes - apparently that earns a B grade for responsiveness - and was honest in advising the member that I only do complete remodeling jobs, to ensure top quality in all materials and installation from start to finish, without the potential for problematic surprises that are outside of my control. I gave the member $18,000 as an approximation of the typical bathroom renovation, NOT as a minimum price. I stand behind all the work that I do, and would direct anyone interested in this to read the reviews for projects I have completed for happy customers to confirm the level of long-lasting quality that has earned me top ratings on Angie's List.

Description of Work: I contacted Greenwald via Angie's List and the owner, Gary, responded immediately. I had water damage from ice damming that ruined my kitchen ceiling. He asked for some incremental information, which I provided, and came to the house to provide an estimate the very next day. Gary was very personable and very professional. He took time to explain what he was going to do and why. I was happy with the estimate, provided a down payment, and Gary promised to slot me into his schedule within the next week, which he did. Gary and a worker where in the house for three days. They replaced the kitchen ceiling, repainted the ceiling and several walls. Gary did an excellent job and went to great lengths to ensure the repair was seamless. I was also very impressed with the cleanliness throughout the job. Everything was kept neat and clean. I would highly recommend Greenwald and intend to use them again for my next job.

I would like to take the time out of my scedule to thank you for the F bomb on my mere perfect record . You left a message for me over the weekend . It was among 33 other messages, it takes a few days to go through all the messages. So from the week end to Tuesday you gave me the F .It is a shame that your door bell , and shower head needed replacing,though if I did call you and told you I am 3-4 weeks back logged you wouldn't have wanted to do the job with us . I am only one person and serving a very large area,99.9 percent of my customers are thrilled with our work. Sorry that this one slipped through the cracks.

Awesome
Description of Work: Gary was great. He came by to do a through evaluation and gave us an hourly rate to help finish up drywalling and spackling in the basement. He was even kind enough to give us some tips to help save him time, and save money for us. We learned a lot in the process. His work is very clean and high quality. We would and WILL definitely hire him again for some other projects in the future! Thank you Gary!

We were pleased.
Description of Work: Gary removed a stump from a fallen tree, as well as removing all the fallen branches and trunk pieces cut by another landscaper. The stump couldn't be ground so removing it was tricky. Gary spent several hours plying around with his backhoe to break off all the roots. It was like watching an artist at work. Crew did a nice job smoothing out the area.

Everything was fine.
Description of Work: Vinyl siding on 2nd floor of home came off in hurricane. Mr. Greenwald replaced the old siding with new. You can't tell the difference. He did a great job. We would definitely hire him again.
