This was a small job so owner gave me an estimate right over the phone. The price sounded very fair and we agreed on a date and time. The electrician showed up right on time and did the job expertly. The man who came to my house was professional, courteous and cleaned the work area thoroughly after he was done. I will certainly use All City for future electrical work and will recommend them to others.

Recently, we were having a problem with one of the light switches in our kitchen. When the light was switched on, and we tried to switch it off, it would not go off. The switch is 53 years old, as old as the house is, and was worn out. Also, our bathroom light over the medicine chest was very old, and I had recently purchased a new light fixture to replace the old one. The old light was taken out and replaced with the new, modern light, which required light bulbs instead of a fluorescent bulb, and which were supplied by the company electrician who did the work. When I had called to get an estimate, my phone call was returned in a timely fashion and we scheduled an estimate to take place for today. After the estimate was given to us, they were able to have the electrician come this afternoon to do the work. We were very pleased with everything that was involved with this transaction and would certainly call this company again in the future.

Mike, the owner, was prompt and businesslike in coming to give an estimate, and emailed an estimate. He was accommodating to rearrange his schedule to squeeze in my job because I was having carpet installed. There was a slight delay because of an earlier job, but i got a phone call letting me know. They were professional and extremely neat. They needed to make some holes for an outlet and patched them well enough that patches are not even noticeable after being painted. Overall, we were very satisfied with All City Electrical. I would use them again.

The work was excellent - very smooth and professional. Couldn't be happier with the outcome. I contacted the company in early July 2010. Mike Volpe came to my house, I walked him through telling him what I needed to have done and Mike emailed me his written estimate shortly thereafter on July 7, along with a list of customer references. Most of the electrical services that I wanted performed was my "wish list" based on a home inspection report that I obtained several months earlier. Over the next 2 weeks, however, I excluded a few items that while nice to have done, were too expensive and not really needed for my purposes (e.g., installing grounding rods and grounding hot water tank and the water meter), When the list was pared down, on July 21, 2010 I gave Mike the go-ahead to perform the services. The work was performed on Friday July 30, 2010. A worker (also with the name of Mike) came first thing in the morning and completed all that he could do by approximately 4:30pm. Late in the afternoon he was joined by Mike Volpe to handle a few "difficult" items that were successfully resolved. Only 2 minor glitches remained that were fully resolved on Friday August 6, 2010. First, Mike Volpe inadvertently thought I didn't want the conduit strap work done, when I only wanted to exclude the grounding items. Mike didn't have conduit straps on July 30, but the job was completed the following Friday. Second, the motion sensor light was inadvertently set to manual, meaning it stayed on all night from dusk to dawn. It was re-set the following week and has since functioned properly.

I needed a new circuit breaker panel with a larger capacity. After a botched job (that left me terrified to stay in my home!) from a so called handyman, I contact three LICENSED electricians for quotes. All City's quote was the most competitive, and they offered more service than the other two electricians that provided quotes. Mike from All City was able to explain the level of job that was required, and also put my mind at ease that he would be able to upgrade the panel, in addition to checking all the other electrical work that was recently done by an unlicensed handyman. During his thorough walk-though of my home, Mike noted that the recessed lighting I had just installed were possible fire hazards, and advised that I have them checked out and replaced if need be. I did not feel like he was fishing for new work, rather that as a professional, he noticed something that should be fixed. Note: the other two electricians said the same thing too, however they were unwilling to check it by going in the attic, whereas Mike did not hesitate to take a look at it while he was there to make sure the hazard wasn't an immediate concern to be addressed right there and then. He determined that while the wiring was okay, but not to his standard, all ten recess lights should be replaced as soon as I possible. He further advised that I not use the lights until they were replaced. I decided to add that to the job too. Mike's quote was considerably less than the other electricians who were only going to upgrade the circuit breaker panel. He replaced the switches with new digital dimmers at a price that was less than expected. A new central light was installed in my den which had to be "snaked" through the garage ceiling too. Again, all this at a price that was LESS than the other quotes that only included upgrading the circuit breaker panel! Mike explained how long the job would take, and the man power required to do the job. When the two All City men showed up (not sub-contractors), they stuck to their timeframe, and left my home in the same condition they found it?clean! They checked all the other electrical work that was done by the inept handyman, and also installed a ceiling fan and a couple of CFIs in my mother's house next door! To say that I am pleased with All City's level of expertise, professionalism, pricing, and promptness is an understatement. I have since used All City again, and have another job that I will be calling them for too. I highly recommend All City.

After been stood up by another company who gave me an estimate of $600, I found All City who did the job for $350. They were on time, did good work, and left the area clean. I would use them again in a second!

Excellent! Pointed out what was going on, described what needed to be done and then showed exactly what had been done after installation as well as went over usage and maintenence tips. Quick, professional, thorough!

There was a problem with the light in dinning area. After it was fixed it seemed like it was a piece of cake. However, I and my dad spend half of Sunday trying to fix it, and were not successful. So I decided to leave to the profy. Found the company through the Angy's List. Called him up, checked the price - sunded reasonable. Made the appointment for the next day. The guy showed up on time, was polite and pleasant to deal with. I would deal with him again if I need to.

They were prompt, professional and clean. I thought the price was a little high, but I haven't really checked around to compare to anyone else.

They were on time, seemed to work efficiently, and were very pleasant to deal with. I will hire them again if I need any future electrical work done. Only 2 small issues: they brought incandescent bulbs for the new basement lights (in this day and age, I think they should have offered compact fluorescents, but I provided my own), and their cleanup wasn't complete. They left a coil of very thick wire, a pipe, and a piece of wood removed for the work, and the drilling they did into the beams in the basement left wood shavings which they didn't clean up. As I said, small issues... I will hire them again if I need any electrical work done in the future.

Made an appointment in one phone call. The guy showed up punctually on time, said he would do it in an hour and was out in 55 minutes, leaving no mess.

NEVER SHOWED UP AFTER I TOOK THE DAY OFF!!!

They were absolutely excellent! They were courteous, responsive, prompt, and called before they arrived. Their price was fair. They did not make a mess of the property. They called me when the job was completed. I was very happy with them and I would call them again if needed!

It went great! We had just moved in and had no 220v plug for our electric dryer. Mike came the day I called to give us an estimate and had an employee come the very next day to run the line. Everything went great!

Their price was reasonable. I thought that it was going to be a big job and called them for a quote. They were very honest and said that it was a very small problem. The quality of work was good and I had no problems with it. They were very responsive. They were punctual and professional.

This was a great company to work with. They showed up on time for both the estimate and the work. Sent the estimate the next day as promised. Asked questions during the installation to ensure that I was satisfied with the work they were doing. Did a great job of clean-up.

This is the first time I used this company. I based my choice on the Angie's List recommendation and the nearby location of the company. The woman I spoke with on the phone had a very pleasant telephone manner. I scheduled an appointment for the estimate. After receiving a call to confirm the appointment, Mike arrived on time promised. He wrote out the estimate and also took a look and answered questions about other electric issues not related to the scheduled work. He was able to have a crew come that day and do the installation. They came on time, and quickly and neatly completed the jobs. They worked like they cared about what they were doing.

Mike came out for estimates each time, and showed up exactly when he said he would. The estimates were very fair - far below many competitors. The crew came out as scheduled, worked very hard, and got the job done quickly and, more importantly, cleanly. They asked before cutting open walls and actually patched their holes! And they charged me exactly what they said they would - even when they ran into problems with my electrical system that made the job more complicated. I won't use any other electrician because they really are the best.
