Excellent communication, responding to my request to quote and all related follow up calls. All City Went promptly to my elderly mother-in-law's house (twice) to quote job, and phoned me with results. I was unable to proceed with the work due to my mother-in-law's illness, but I will be calling Mike Volpe in the future to reschedule. All City was extra patient and professional in accommodating me and my situation with this elderly person.

This was the third time I've used All City and as on the previous occasions, they show up on-time, are extremely professional and courteous. Everything is cleaned up and they conduct a walk-through after the work is completed to make sure I understand everything they did. I can't rate these guys high enough and I'm really happy that I found them!

The guys showed up promptly at the time they said they would, and they spent the entire day at my house, working really long and hard to get the job done. They were very friendly, they thoroughly explained everything they were doing and seemed to do an excellent job, bringing everything up to code and not cutting any corners. When Mike came to give me the estimate, he took one look and knew just what needed to be done, and he didn't try to sell me extra fixtures or items that I didn't need, like another electrician I called tried to do. Also, his price was slightly better. I've had several bad experiences with contractors over the past few years, but All City is a company that I would highly recommend, without a moment's hesitation!

They gave me a window for the technicians arrival. He called before he came and showed up 5 minutes early! He looked at the work I needed done took some measurements and e-mailed a detailed estimate the same evening. The work was scheduled for a week later. Once again the technician was prompt, very professional and cleaned up after themselves. I was very pleased with the service from All-City Electrical.

His workers came to the house on time, which made my mother-in-law very happy. They did a very good job with the installation and cleaned up after they were done. It was a good experience, and we would use their services again.

I requested to be the first stop, which was 9am, and I got the call at around 8am to tell me he's on his way. When he came in the house, he put on booties to cover his shoes, which is absolutely wonderful b/c I usually walk around the house barefoot. I pointed out which lights weren't working, which were controlled by a timer/switch and he said it's probably just a bad timer. He removed the timer, checked to see if the lights worked once he bypassed the timer and when it did, he simply replaced the timer. I then asked him to change the light fixture at my back deck. I was thinking of changing out another switch to a timer, but unfortunately he didn't have an extra one. Overall, I was extremely pleased.

Punctual and professional. Would definately use them again and refer them to my friends and neighbors.

The whole process was very efficient, friendly and professional. I hadn't ever hired an electrician before, but couldn't see what anyone else might have done better than these guys. I would certainly call them again. One small thing I appreciated was that their guy immediately put on booties over his shoes to protect our carpeting, without being asked.

Very professional. The owner came over for an estimate on time. Gave me good pointers on what type of fans to buy etc (this is even before he knew that he got the job). The quote came back as being middle of the road, not the lowest but def far from the highest. Based on the reviews on Angie's list we decided to go with this company. On the date of the installation, the guys arrived on time (waited for me since i was away dropping kids to school). They were very professional, knew what they were doing, made sure they didn't damage anything or leave a mess. They were done with everything within 4 hours and put all the furniture back before leaving. what i was most impressed with is that they didn't leave any holes in the ceilings. I had another contractor (highly rated on angie's list) come out to me for an estimate who made it sound like he would have to tear down the ceiling to install the recessed lights and these guys made three tiny (nail size) holes that they filled up and can barely be seen. All in all an excellent experience and I would definitely use them again and recommend them as well.

We made appointment and were given a 4 hour window for start time. The technician was running a bit behind and knew they could not make the stated time so the owner called and notified me ahead of time and apologized; he then made the extra effort to stop by himself and review the requested work to make sure everything would go smoothly when the technician arrived. In addtion to the performed work stated previously I thought we had larger problems with wiring in two different rooms, the owner pointed out embarrassingly simple item we had overlooked and that no repairs were required. Both owner and tech were friendly, polite and professional. Great guys, great team, great work.

They were prompt and professional. The price was good. The workmanship seemed to be good. They had to punch a bunch of holes in the wall and they seemed to have taken some care in the way they did it. I would use them again in the future too.

I spoke with Mike via telephone to make arrangements for an in-person estimate for the installation of 4 ceiling fans in a rental apartment in an old building. Mike was very courteous, professional and helpful on the phone and this carried over to his in-person visit as well. He was prompt and professional and extremely thorough in going through the work that would need to be done in order to install the fans. He was careful to point out that in an old structure such as where we live, there are invariably gas pipes above the ceiling that would need to be inactivated, cut and capped in order to complete the installation. Additionally, we were worried about damaging the plaster ceiling medallions during the installation process and Mike was clear and honest based on his experience that damage was a real possibility and that the plaster might require restoration. This candid assessment was very helpful. Additionally, Mike provided a reasonable and fairly priced written estimate with references a few days after the in-person meeting. Ultimately, we decided not to do the installations because of the complexity of work and it didn't seem worth the time and effort since we don't plan to stay in the rental longer than a couple of years. Had we gone ahead, however, we would definitely have selected Mike for the job and we would certainly consider him for any future job.

Mike Volpe came to discuss my home inspection report and give me an estimate for the work required. He arrived on time, was thorough and professional. He explained in detail the code requirements and the work that would be done. After I accepted the estimate we agreed on a time for the work to be done. His mechanic showed up on time, performed the work neatly and kept me informed as it progressed. I would use this company again and would recommend it to others.

I noticed the hanging chandelier on a Thursday night. I called All City Friday morning. We would not be home until 4:00 p.m. and they were very accommodating in agreeing to come when we would be available. The worker showed up on time, 4:00 p.m. on a Friday afternoon. He wore shoe covers, told us exactly what was needed and what it would cost. He did the work immediately for the quoted price and the work was done very well. I thought the quoted price was very fair especially in light of the fact we requested the work be done right away. All City was excellent from start to finish.

All City quoted & installed two roof exhaust fans at my house. Mike Volpe, the president, visited my house, explained exactly what was needed and I received a quote within days. The installer he sent was experienced, professional and did a great job in installing the fans. I would use All city again for any of my electrical needs.

Mike (Owner), & workers on time, laid cloth & wore protective booties. Did not track in outside dirt, rainy that day. Only comlaint- $235.00 extra charge for *dedicated 15H circuit, etc. I will use again if the price for everything would be in writing before starting.

They were great. I recommended them to my brother. They gave me an estimate and the estimate was right on. I called the guy and scheduled the time. He was here on time. The first balancer that he put in wasn’t right so he put in another one. I didn’t have any power in a particular bathroom and there were no lights because I have my dimmer switch and everything worked out fine. I would use them again in the future.

Mike and his team were very professional, from estimate thru schedule to execution. On time, as quoted, planned and scheduled. The crew worked with a nice hustle, and the price was very competitive.

I am so impressed with Mike and his team. The recessed lighting looks great--everyone we have had over our house since they installed the lighting has remarked on how great the lighting looks. All City also installed our flat screen TV above our mantle--hiding all wires behind the wall and hiding the cable box and blue ray as well using infrared technology (so cool!!). He also hung a chandelier, fixed a few dead outlets, and upgraded our electrical system. Everything went smoothly. Mike and his team were on time every day and started/finished each project when he said he would. He also kept to his estimated price. Furthermore, Mike's team is just so professional and nice. I loved working with them. They made these major projects as painless as possible. Mike even sent an email thanking me for my business and asked if I am happy with the result--I found this very professional. I give All City my highest recommendation!
