They returned my call and came promptly to give me an estimate even though they must have been very busy doing storm repair work. They arrived on time and performed all work as per estimate. Will definitely use again.

Hurricane Sandy brought a neighbor's tree down on the power lines, severely damaging my weatherhead and meter box. All City's electrician came out to assess the job in the dark, undeterred by the Norway spruce blocking my street and driveway, within a couple of hours of my call. They were back first thing the next morning to do the repairs that would allow the power company to reconnect my power. The electrician was friendly, the repairs were well and promptly done, and I paid one-fourth what my neighbor paid another company to do the same work.

This is clearly the best and most reasonably priced electrician that you could ever work with. On Friday night (11/2), I left a voicemail message with All City Electric to have someone come and inspect my panel box (which they had installed for me in January) after my neighborhood was devastated by Hurricane Sandy. I was expecting/hoping to receive a call as early as Saturday telling me that someone would be out to my home on Monday. I was very shocked and pleased to receive a call early Saturday morning from the owner/president Mike Volpe advising me that he would be at my house that day to check my panel box for damages and ensure that it was safe enough to be reactivated. Not only did Mr. Volpe help me to get my panel box activated but he also took the time out of his busy schedule to help two of my neighbors with electrical issues and provided all of us with written estimates for work that needed to be done to ensure the safety of our electrical systems after the storm. This level of service is unprecedented in these times of untrustworthy contractors. I would recommend this company to everybody. Thanks again Mike !!!

Service was wonderful. Arrived right on schedule. Left the place clean and workers were very polite and courteous. Mike is a pleasure to do business with and we will definitely use him again, if needed. Will also refer.

From initial call to the end of service the company was really great to work with. The assigned electrician answered all the questions we had and explained everything in detail. We are very pleased with the service and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work at home.

At first we were satisfied with the work performed. They showed up on time and did the work and charged a fair price. However, the front light basically stopped working a month after installation. I reached out to them a few months later to come take a look at the light and give me an estimate for a few other things. Long story short, they refused to come back and fix the light fixture free of charge that they originally installed along with the timer unless additional work was being performed. It's just basic customer service to take responsiblity for services you performed! Instead he proceeded to state that the light fixture I provided or the wiring could be the issue and I didn't contact them for 7 months. I expect the light and timer to work for years and even if it was to break today, I expect them to come fix it and not charge me! I was surprised by the lack of ownership they took in their work. I have a long list of electrical projects around the house that I was going to originally use them for over the next few years. Nevertheless, we will NOT be using them again after this experience. I expect things to work for years after they are installed by a professional electrician!

We called All City after another company gave us what seemed to be an outrageous bid (over $1,200) for a small amount of work. All City came in and did the work for under $300. They were terrific from start to finish and we were very happy with them.

We needed a ceiling fan in our family room replaced. I called All City Electric on a Sunday evening and left a voice mail. Mike called back around 10am on Monday and gave us a quote on the phone. We called him back around 11am to confirm the job and were told that they would try to schedule the job the same day. We were deligjted to hear that! The electrician, Joe B, called around 1pm to obtain the address and give an estimated time of arrival. He arrived around 1:30pm, discussed the job at hand, answered all of our questions thoroughly, and proceeded to replace the ceiling fan as requested. He was extremely professional, appropriately friendly, very tidy and did an excellent job. We would not hesitate to use this company's services again...especially Joe.

They came out and gave us an estimate pretty quickly. We had to have our panel inspected and repaired for our homeowners insurance. One company had previously come out but then took one week to give estimate. Another company wanted to charge about 3 times what All-City quoted and tried to get us to do some construction work. On the day of service All City came and did a very nice job fixing our panel and cleaning up the closet. The electrician also fixed our pot lights that had been flickering on and off since we moved into our home. We plan to hire them again in the future.

So far, it is good, one or two outlets I have yet to use them. So I don’t know if it would actually work. They were time and they were very responsive.

The experience was great from our initial phone call and estimate visit with Mike the owner to the completion of the project by the Tech's Joe and Joe. The tech's arrived on time for the project, explained every aspect of the project in DETAIL and kept us informed of the project status until it was completed. Our only disappointment is that we have one old outlet that has not worked since the completion of the upgrade, other than that we are VERY satisfied with our experience with All City and we will DEFINITELY use them again.

All City did an excellent job. They gave a competitive estimate, came on time and finished on time. Both Mike and his coworker were very polite and friendly. We really appreciated that they wore protective booties on their shoes when entering the house, cleaned up after themselves, and moved and put back furniture. I'm just upset we forgot to use the Angies List coupon!! :) We will definitely use them in the future if needed.

We purchased a home and needed a fair amount of electrical work. Mike and co. were extremely professional and helpful. I was not in the house when the work was done, but my wife told me that the guys that came to do the work were punctual and friendly. I am not sure if Mike was the one who actually did all the work, but whoever was on site did a great job. The first job they did was to replace the house's old Federal Pacific electrical panel with a new one and upgraded our 100 service to 200. I was nervous about this because the old panel was a real fire hazard. They did a great job and were done in around half a day. Mike then let me know that he had some recommendations about improving the safety and performance of the electrical service around the house and emailed me a general estimate. When I responded that the scope was beyond my budget and asked him for an itemized and prioritized quote, he responded within a day or two with a much shorter (and hence much cheaper) quote. All this was done without any pressure and I never felt that I was being manipulated or maneuvered into getting more than I could afford. All in all, I was very happy with this provider and would highly recommend them.

Mike was great to work with. We had an appointment for 11 am on a Saturday for him to come see what we needed done. He arrived exactly at 11 am and spent about one hour with us. We needed to look at a couple of parts that would be needed for the job, so while at our home, he called the electrical supply company and had them pull out what we needed so we could go right over. By about 2 pm that same Saturday, he had emailed me a detailed estimate. Mike had said it would be about two days of work, and he and his guys finished it in about a day and a half. Everything on my list was done correctly and professionally. I plan to use All City again and will recommend to anyone who needs an electrician.

I contacted All City Electric through Angie's list and asked for a quote. I requested a Saturday visit for the quote, and the company accommodated me. Mike came over exactly on time, and put on shoe covers before walking through our front door, which I thought was very professional. We agreed to the quote he gave and scheduled the installation for the next week. The technician who came was equally professional, and installed the fan very efficiently. Afterwards, the company sent me a follow up email to thank me for hiring them, and make sure I was happy with the service. All in all, I thought they were very professional.

I contacted this company based on the reviews on Angie's list. I contacted them to install 8 recessed lights - 6 in the first floor kitchen and 2 in a bedroom on the 2nd floor.Mike was at my house at the fixed time and he was very polite, knowledgeable and quite professional about his work. He quoted me a price that seemed fair so I have him the go ahead. He sent a Joe to do the work who was very polite, courteous and a thorough professional. The job done is of excellent quality and Joe took good care of covering things up to protect them. He also did a good post work cleanup. I would definitely hire them again.

There was confusion over the estimated cost of the job and I certainly would not have continued with this vendor had I realized how much the installation would be. (There were 2 quotes for 2 jobs and the misunderstanding was totally due to my error.) When I realized the error, it was a little late. I did call and speak with the vendor at that point but he wasn't very sympathetic and the generator I had ordered was already on its way to the vendor's office. I didn't realize that I was going to have to roll an extremely heavy cord from the generator (in the garage) to the end of my house (>50 ft I think) in what will surely be inclement weather. Had I realized how inconvenient this set up would be, I would have asked for another plan. In all fairness, they explained this to me but at the time of the explanation I hadn't seen the very heavy cord or realized how inconvenient this is probably going to be. Aside from the above, they (vendor, workmen and office staff) were very prompt, nice and helpful. The completed job looks to be very professional. It passed inspection without a problem. They cleaned up completely at the completion of the work. Two workmen cam to my house at 9 am on the day of installation. One left after unpacking and setting up the generator (1-2 hours?) and the other remained until after 5 pm that day. He worked very diligently during those hours.

Their leadership was very good, and responsive. The person that did the work was also very good. I will definitely use them in the future and will recommend them to friends.

I did not hire this firm since said I needed expensive work that 2 other electricians said I did not need.

The total experience was great overall. The work was done on time, and professionally. The workers were very neat, and cleaned up after themselves.

Mike arrived on time for his appointment and was, as usual, courteous and professional. He donned shoe covers of his own before entering my house to check the interior light switch and the wiring to the outside which ran through the foundation wall in the basement. He then checked the exterior light fixtures and after some searching and digging he found that the wiring and junction box at the base of one of the lights near our steps had corroded from moisture. He removed the entire fixture and re-wired the system at that point; afterwards, everything worked fine again. Total time was about two hours.

They arrived quickly to provide estimates - did that over email ... arrived at the job promptly - showed me the work and cleaned up after themselves.

Overall excellent experience. The electricians were very professional and pleasant. They were prompt and called me 15 minutes prior to coming. The job took extra time because the hook up to my existing fire alarm was complicated but they charged me the original quoted price and not for the additional time. I would definitely use them again.
