Stay away from this company I had used them in the past without any issues but this time is different they did a house inspection and miss some stuffs we called the office and the owner Carlos V. came to the house to see what was missed in the inspection report. He admitted that this things were miss and agreed to fix them. now every time I call the office the answer I get that he will call me back. Still waiting

My fiancé and I first hired Vitale Inspections in 2022 for the first home we were going to purchase. Our inspector was Tom G and he did a fantastic job and was very thorough. Unfortunately, the 2022 sale fell through. Fast forward to January 2024, we needed inspections done again and immediately knew we were going to go with Tom at Vitale Inspections again. He was very transparent and explained each part of the inspection as we went along. He was able to answer any questions or concerns He was very transparent and helpful with any concerns and questions we had along the way. We would definitely recommend Vitale Inspections to friends, and to specifically to request Tom.

Zach from Vitale Inspection Services has done home, chimney, and dryer vent inspections and servicing for us and every time is prompt, courteous, and provides excellent service. I can't recommend them enough!

Seems to be a lot of these "great" reviews are right after the home inspection before you uncover all of the issues they DID NOT FIND. Very simple and I feel like a fool that I was not able to see some of the issues in my home, like the HOLES IN MY ROOF or the flex seal spray painted on the plywood of my attic. OR how my inspector did not even go on my roof. THREE opportunities to see that my entire roof had issues and each 3 failed, not even two months later of living in my home and have dry wall damage all on my top floor, and I had to replace my ENTIRE F'IN ROOF. All which could of been discovered by my home inspector for a simple routine inspection. I have also had significant leaks from my washer, tub, kitchen sink, and main water water line, 3 of which were not mentioned or discovered in my inspection. These issues have cost me over $7,000 and when I contacted Vitale to address my concerns, we played phone tag to ultimately not have my calls or texts returned. I expect ATLEAST the cost of my inspection back, since it doesn't even cover a fraction of how much these overlooks have cost me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY- and my realtor/team will no longer be recommending them. Cannot believe they don't even truly attempt to right their wrong. INSANE.

My wife and I recently signed a contract to purchase a house in Princeton NJ area two weeks ago. We got to know Vitale Inspection Services from my Realtor's recommended contractors list. We also did some research online before hired them. Inspector Anthony arrived on time and was friendly to work with. However, if you are a buyer and needs to get a home inspection done, I would not recommend Vitale Inspection Services. Here are the reasons why: Reason (1) before the home inspection, I had a landscaping company evaluated the property. The owner of the landscaping co. told me that there are several big trees are dying and there are at least two trees have died completely on the property. One of them are very tall and it is very close to the property. It needs to be taken down. I have brought this to Anthony's attention during the inspection and he has also acknowledged the dead trees. However, the condition of the trees was not included in the final home inspection report. Reason (2) There are thousands of unknow flies in the backyard and all over the rear walls and patio during the time of inspection. I had a conversation with Anthony. He did not know what kind of bugs they were. So, we did some research online and he believes these are spotted lantern flies. These flies were all over the backyard, including patio furniture, lighting posts, walls, windows, doors, at least thousands of them. I specifically asked him to include and document the infestation in the report. Anthony was not willing to do initially during the final discussion with the broker. Even thou he finally agrees to include in the report, he posted a photo of a back wall/siding that has only TWO spotted lantern flies. Anthony did not present a true picture and how the bugs were infested in the rear of the building and backyard. Reason three (3), There are two chimneys on the property. He tested one of them and found it to be in operation. However, when I asked him if the 2nd Chimney/ fireplace. He stated that there is no gas connection to the 2nd fireplace, and he is not able to test the fireplace. His recommendation is to have the Seller turn on the fireplace at the final walk thru. My understanding of an inspector's job is to test and operate all systems and appliances. I should rely on his inspection report to determine the condition of the house that I am about to purchase. I should not rely on the Seller to demonstrate the any of the appliances or systems, including fireplace is in working condition on the day of closing. Reason Four (4), it is no usual to have the seller to request in the Contract to mediate the Radon issue if the level of Radon (test) is much higher than the acceptable level. In my case, the seller did request the same. Therefore, I came to the inspection with some kind of caution. Anthony found out there is a Radon mitigation system in place in the basement to treat the Radon. During the time when he was placing the test kit in the basement for Radon, he volunteered and turned the fan speed on the Radon mitigation system from normal to maximum. As a home buyer, I do not understand the need for his action. If the current owner is operating the system on a normal level, why would my inspector to turn the Radon mitigation system to maximum fan level unless if he really wants the seller to past the test.... In conclusion, I would NOT recommend anyone who is going to purchase a house to hire Anthony / Vital Inspection Services as their home inspector, rather if you are trying to sell a house, you would want to deal with them to help you sell the house more quickly.

The whole process of working with them was great. They took care of the communication with our real estate agent and lawyer. Their webpage / software that stored the report online was also easy to access. Tyler was our inspector and he was extremely kind and knowledgeable. He braved the freezing cold and inspected every area of the exterior of the house that was accessible.

Nick Dogias from Vitale Inspection Services performed the inspection on the home we are under contract to purchase. He was professional, friendly, experienced, and incredibly helpful. His inspection was extremely thorough and his report was very detailed. He explained everything to me as we went through the home. The prices are reasonable and worth every dollar. It is without hesitation that I recommend Vitale Inspection Services.

The townhome inspection was performed by Dan Caporale from Vitale Inspection Services. Dan is a knowledgeable and patient person while explaining everything to a first-time buyer. He provided plenty of information that was unanticipated not only to the house buyer but also to an experienced handyman who was also present at the same time. The inspection was not only informative but also entertaining due to the well-rounded personality of Dan. I recommend Vitale Inspection Services, especially Dan for not only home inspections, but also regularly once every few years because nothing seems to escape his eyes.

It went beautifully. Tom, our inspector was there on time, was thorough and completely professional. He also asked me frequently if I had any questions and took time to answer them. He was eager to teach me as much as possible about the new house. I thought he did a great job and would certainly hire Vitale Inspection Services again.

Not only would I use them again but I have already told all my family and friends to contact them as well! If I could give Vitale a million star rating i would. From booking the appointment to having the actual inspection, the entire team was nothing short of amazing, Responsive, respectful, knowledgeable and patient with us as we are first time buyers. Chris was great! He was right on time, gave the house a ton of expert scrutiny and communicated well through the process. I am very happy with the work and feel confident that we have good expert advice to help us finalize our house purchase. I give them five stars across the board.

Amazing, my inspector was Dave and he was so wonderful. He made me feel so much more confident in my home purchase. He also explained everything to me throughout the entire process which was great as a first time gone buyer.

He was on time, comprehensive in his inspection, and wonderful at communicating his findings, both verbally at the time of the inspection and in the detailed 38 page report. Remarkably, the report was available within hours of completion of the inspection. Nick was top-notch. I would definitely use him again!

I had the best experience with Vitale Inspections, from the friendly and excellent customer service I received when making the appointment, to the actual inspection and follow-up. Chris, our inspector was superb. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time during the inspection, and most importantly took the time to explain to us in real-time his findings. The final inspection report is very clearly stated with pictures and the information in the report was organized in a manner the was easy to follow. Excellent inspector (Jarred) performed top to bottom inspection. Was very knowledgeable about the home and what to look out for in a 20 year old property inside and outside. Was on time and spent as much time with me as I wanted. Received the home inspection report within a few hours after he left the property. Highly recommend Jarred.
