Trenton Roofing & Siding

Representive came out as promised on 1/11/2013. Great feeling from start to finish. Got estimate to do work, which we will be scheduling for in the spring due to nature of work. Gave me information and opinion. I will and would recommend this company.

Overall, not well. I felt like the inspector from Trenton Roofing had his mind made up when he arrived, and hoped to make a sale, regardless of what I said or did. No pictures to back up what he said, so I had only his word to go on, though that may have been that he didn't feel comfortable trying to balance and take pictures, or didn't carry a camera. Whether or not I'd use them again is up in the air for me. I know the roof is aging and need to be replaced, probably within the next 5 years. Trenton Roofing has a good reputation according to word of mouth (friend of a friend recommendations), and I'd rather not disregard the entire company because I asked for something (a relatively detailed report to give my insurance company) and got something different (a simple report with a detailed roofing contract.)

The workers came promptly at 7 AM in the morning and finished by 1PM. It was a complete tear-down of the existing roof shingles and adding of new quality shingles. They also took out the attic fan that was non-functional. It was very hot that day. They did a fine quality job and I would definitely hire them again if i can. Based on the roof work down at our house, two other neighbors also ended up hiring them. All the nails and debris were cleared out thoroughly. I looked at other providers and they were all much more expensive. Since then I've recommended them to other friends and acquaintances.

The roofing job went very well and fast. The siding job took about 2 weeks. The siding has held up very well in the recent hurricane. I am very happy that we had the work done. The only complaint I have is they did a crappy job cleaning up the nails on the ground around the house.

They were quick and stuck to the quote they gave me. They were professional, polite and on time.

First class all the way. Salesman ( Mike Moran) was responsive , patient and promptly returned calls. Price was very reasonable ( especially with Angies List coupon), less than my other estimates. Work crew showed up before 8 Am on scheduled day and worked unitl about 6 PM including good cleanup. Roof looks great. Office promplty returned all my calls and handled all paper work for permits and scheduling town inspection. ( Note: town inspection performed and passed ). Would highly recommend and definitely use again. Woudl also strongly consider Trenton roofing for other services such as new siding, gutters etc.

I called on a Thursday and they came out the very next day. They gave me a ballpark figure on the spot and the next day, a Saturday, they emailed me the details of the quote, which was actually a little lower than the ballpark figure. They are supposed to start putting on a new roof the week of December 10th. They have been very polite and professional so far and I expect this to continue.

This review will cover two separate repairs. The first had the estimator show up exactly on schedule, up on the roof, and returning to me with an estimate in hand. I agreed and an appointment was set. Again, the crew arrived right on time. They set up their equipment and began their task. The repair people began and quickly realized that more effort and materials would be required. They informed me, and I told them it needed to be fixed and to do what had to be done (there was rumor of a hurricane coming) and I wanted that leak fixed. They finished the repair, showed me their work, and cleaned up the whole area of all debris. I asked about the extra costs and they said it was their problem and there were no extra charges. THAT is the way business should be done. One week later and Sandy blew in. When the storm was over, I went outside to see several cap shingles missing (different area). I called on Friday and they set the estimate for Tuesday. Tuesday I received a call from the estimator with another estimate. He said it was a small job and he had a crew in the area. If I approved, they would do it now. Done deal, they would invoice me. I am extremely pleased and have already recommended them to two neighbors, and my mother-in-law (risky business!) Trenton Roofing is a professional contractor to be relied on. Very easy to work with, and dependable! PS I called another guy for an estimate first, ...still waiting to see him and give him the bad news.

The salesman, Cholly, came out quickly and was very professional. He explained all aspects of the job. The warranty is great. The office followed up promptly via email with an estimate which was $2,1000 cheaper than an estimate from another Angie's list member. Yes it was that much. They arrived a bit later but came back early the next day (without my asking) to finish the rest of the clean up which was not that much. My house roof was large, with two older roofs on it but it was done in one day. There was minimal noise. The job looks great. There were a few issues in regard to clean up and some crushed bushes. But they made everything right without any arguments or hassle. Cholly came out personally to ensure that we were satisfied. I would recommend them highly.

They honored their contract. Was on time and did an good job. Love the before and after photos.

One of the guy came to inspect and then told us what was the problem and the estimates.Estimate is not free,charges $175 for coming out and if you have work done by them they deduct the amount from the total

The whole process from estimate to repair went very smoothly and the correspondence was prompt. The person who came to estimate was very helpful, explaining a lot of my questions and making realistic and honest suggestions. The workers arrived on time and performed beyond what they promised to do without extra charge. We will definitely recommend them to our friends and will consider them to install our new roof when the time comes.

they were professional from start to finish. The estimator was good, they price was good - much lower than the competition, and they were qualified by GAF as master builders (which had been the reason the competition gave us the high price). They showed up on time, stayed in communication and finished the job in one day. I only had two complaints. One, I was told by the workers when they showed up that I needed to move some plants from my garden. So I had to dig them up. If I had been told that before, I would have done it by taking the time I should have to do it. When the supervisor got here, and I mentioned it to him, he said I shouldn't have had to do that. these were foundation plants, not bedding plants. The other one is very minor. I agreed to have the sign up as part of the agreement, but they wanted to leave it here for two weeks after the job was done. i left it up for a week and am still holding it for them to come and get.

Using Angie's list , we contacted Trenton Roofing & Siding to assist us with these repairs. Mike Moran, the Salesperson from Trenton Roofing & Siding, provided us with an excellent deal on repairing our roof flanges as well as the flashing on two sides of our house. Unfortunately, due to rain they were delayed by one day. However, the next morning, Omar Sanchez and his associate, Isreal, came to our door and informed us that they would make all of the necessary repairs. Both Omar and Isreal were extremely skilled, efficient and professional in the manner in which they conducted their repairs to our house. They even guaranteed their repairs asking us to call them if we had any problems.

My experience with them was excellent. They did a quality job at a reasonable price. I would definitely use them again if needed.

Trenton Roofer gave me the best price and I am very happy I selected them because their customer service was outstanding throughout the entire process. Paul Drum, my sales representative, was a pleasure to work with. Their work was perfect and they went above and beyond what they needed to do. They capped off my chimney, reflashed some of the area around my skylight, cleaned my skylight and screwed in my gutter while they were up there. I also needed vent holes installed and Paul coordinated the effort with my other contractor. I was definitely at ease.

They gave me an estimate that was right on target. The indiviudal who came out explained everything to me and answered all my questions. THey got the entire job done in one day. When they were finished they cleaned up everything.

Excellent. We would highly recommend this company. From the time of the first email contact to the finished job, they were consistent, professional, clean and hard working. They were excellent with communication, particularly with me living in Cleveland and my Mom in Roebling. You could not ask for a better experience.

After my initial call their salesman came to my home on time. He was very curtious, listened carefully to my issues, informed me of what needed to be done. After hearing my complaint about something brown coming out of my chimney in the garage he recommended I call in a chimney sweep because something may have fallen into it and it needed cleaning. He also recommended that I mention something called a chimney cap to the chimney sweep company. I knew it would take some time because I had to order 1 additional window. I already had 4 out of the 5 windows ordered. Because of my bad experience with a different roofing company I called twice before they came. I was nervous about what to expect and I was also concerned because every time it rained water dripped from my ceiling. Since water leaked into my house I did request that they separate the work, roof repair and window installation, but the person I spoke to made an excuse about having to come out twice. To find something I didn't really like I must admit I didn't like how that was handled because after my window came they ended up scheduling for a Tuesday for the roof repair and Wednesday for the window installation. Being that I work this meant I had to take two days off .. which I did. At that point there was no point to having two days and if the company had a legitimate point to separating the days then do the roof repair earlier to help me out quickly. I mean there was a two to three week wait because of the window order. Anyway.. this was the reason for the lower score on responsiveness. Even so I would defintely hire Trenton Roofing again. The men who came out to repair my roof and install my windows did a stellar job. They were very professional, explained any questions I had, and thier quality of work was excellent. I couldn't tell where the repair was on the roof. They matched the roofing tiles exactly. I complained about water coming into my house via two windows and to help with that issue my windows where wrapped with vinyl which made the exterior part of the windows look beautiful. Now I want all the windows to look like my new windows on the outside. I'm lucky these where in the back of my house because if it where in the front I would have to immeditely do my whole house ... whew averted a beauty emergency. What I ended up with was definitely worth writting this review, which I never do,but will do here on angies list because the reviews helped me find a good contractor. Thanks to all those who took the time ... it helped. One last thing, because of the recommendations made I did call a chimney sweep company and they found a dead body in the chimney ... it was a squirrel but still a dead body ... hahaha! Humm ... that defintely explained why early spring I had a SiFi moment with flies in my garage. I have new chimney caps, no more flies and no more dead bodies. They told me I did not need any work. They were honest and on time.

My neighbor used them so I used them. I just used them the one time. It took them two hours. They were prompt. I like the price and quality of work. They also came back for a follow up. Somebody shot through my window with a bb gun.

This company is the most professional, courteous and thorough company I have ever dealt with. They completed the job and cleaned up perfectly in one day. They showed up bright and early with the dumpster and had the shingles there soon also. Their workers are polite and courteous and worked tirelessly to finish. Paul was a pleasure to deal with from the estimate right through completion. In all of the excitement of the roof installation day, they overlooked putting the new roof on the shed and I also forgot to remind them. I called the next day and Paul managed for them to come right out and finish up the shed. I have already recommended them to several of my friends. Very pleased indeed!

From beginning to end, the process was pretty painless. Cholly, the general contractor listened to what we needed, did a walk thru, gave us quotes and explained the process. He was thorough, professional and patient as we had never undertaken such a large project. There was 2 crews, 1 for the roofing and the other for the windows and siding. The roofing crew worked from 8am until 5pm to remove the old roof, cut the top of the roof for the new ridge vent (which has noticably decreased the temperature in the home), and installed the new roof. The 2nd crew (2 man) worked from 7:30am until 5pm for about 5 days to remove the old windows, repaired one of the windowsill that was water damaged, installed the new windows, and even though it states in the contract that it is the homewner's responsiblity to fix the interior window trim, they did it anyway. They installed green foamboard panels all around the house, installed the siding all around the house and on the back patio ceiling which looks absolutely awesome (thanks for that suggestion Cholly). They cut holes under the roof overhang prior to installing the siding to allow proper ventalation to the roof. They covered every visible inch with siding. This crew did a wonderful job and we could not be any happier with the results.They arrived on time and stopped timely as to not disturb our neighbors peace.They solicited feedback as they went along and completed the work on the day promised. Both crews did an excellent job at cleaning up after the day and the roofers used a large rolling magnet to get all of the nails from the ground. Cholly made sure that we were happy with the progress and was on site on a daily basis to ensure that everything was being done as planned. Needless to say, we are extremely happy with the work done by Trenton Roofing and really thank them for their quality work!!!
