We interviewed three contractors, all from Angie's list, and chose Trenton Roofing based on years in the business and price. They lived up to their reputation. They took care of getting the local permit from the township. They notified me a week in advance as to when they would be arriving. On the day scheduled they were here early and stayed until the job was done to our satisfaction. They had five workers on site and the supervisor gave me his card to say if I had any questions or concerns to call him immediately. No need. Although a hot day, these guys worked like machines. They were extremely polite and efficient. They did a great job cleaning up so when they left you hardly knew they had been there. That is except for the beautiful new roof. They had some extra materials which I alerted the office were still by the house. The next morning they were gone. Roofing companies can be scary to work with. You are never sure who you are going to get. That is one of the reasons we joined Angie's list. In this case Trenton Roofing's excellent reputation was spot on. If you need a new roof or repairs to an existing roof you should put Trenton Roofing on your list. I give them my highest recommendation.

I have used this place several times and I generally have a pleasant interaction with them from first call to the end of the service.

We've used this company twice--once to fix a leaky chimney flashing, once because we thought we had a leak (turns out we didn't). Both times, we found this company to be courteous, prompt, punctual, and reliable, and their work of high quality. Their scheduling staff is responsive and fast, turnaround between the first call and their actual home visit was less than a week. The first time, they came, looked at the situation, and sent us a written estimate. We then scheduled the service, which they performed promptly, well, and for the quoted price, and we haven't had a problem with that leak since. The second time, someone came, climbed up on the roof, looked at the situation, and came down to tell us it was not the roof but a rotting gable vent. No charge for the visit, either. Bottom line, in our experience this is a highly professional business that will perform good work in a timely manner, without taking advantage or trying to sell us more than we need. I'd recommend them, and should we ever have a roof issue in the future, this is the company we'll call.

We were very happy with the reasonable price of the repairs and the prompt and courteous service. The company rep first came out and took pictures of everything while he walked around the entire outside of the house talking with me. When the workers came, they knew exactly what they had to do and they did it. The siding they repaired fits in perfectly with the existing siding. I am hoping I don't have any more siding issues but if I do -- and if I have any roofing issues, this is the company I will be calling. They provided a good solution for our leak. They did not try over sell more services than what we need. They performed the work without any issues. They missed one item, but promptly returned and completed the task.

They were very easy to deal with. They responded timely to all of our calls, showed up on time and were very respectful. They did a great job - the roof looks great and the cleaned up everything as well. They were also very reasonably priced compared to some of the other estimates that we received.

Trenton roofing was great from the estimate to the work completion. They white coated several flat roofs on my home and silver coated one. The estimator was great, taking time to advise me on some other work that another company had recommended. He didn't try to sell me on more work, but just wanted to get the necessary work quoted. The work crew was great, working quickly and cleaning up well. They fixed a leaky portion of one roof, sealed 3 roofs. I would definitely hire them again.

We had initial difficulty with a salesman. When notified the owner and another salesman quickly responded to the complaint, apologizing and offering to help in any way that they could. They called, e-mailed and made a visit to rectify the problem.

This was my second time using Trenton Roofing and Siding as they put a new roof on my house last year. I was so pleased that I bid them again this year for my siding and windows. I couldn't be happier with the results. I took three bids before making my final decision (always do) and they negotiated in good faith for my business. The price was quite reasonable and the work was excellent. I found them to be responsive, punctual, and professional. He was very professional and told me exactly what to do since I am a new homeowner. He was excellent.

I called, they called back and came out and gave me a quote. They came and did the work, I assume. From the ground it looked good. I wasn't here when they came and didn't go on the roof to check. Their price was less than the insurance company told me to expect. My only complaint was that they didn't remove their sign from the yard.

Bid the job fairly, showed up and performed timely and as promised.

We called Trenton roofing and siding to help us identify where our roof was leaking. They scheduled us, provided a reminder email, and showed up on time. The tech that came identified our problem as damaged seals around pipe penetrations in our roof. He said that he could do the work and quote it but if we were handy that we could more than manage it ourselves by buying a pipe boot at home depot and do it ourselves. We do a lot of projects ourselves, so $18 boot and roof cement and about 15 minutes and the problem was solved. I couldn't believe that the tech would have not tried to sell me anything. One thing is for sure, next time I need any roofing or siding need, I'll definitely be calling Trenton roofing and siding!

I would highly recommend Trenton Roofing and Siding. They not only do high quality work with high quality materials but, they understand the value of good customer service. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Trenton Roofing and Siding. I have hired contractors in the past and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. When I called Trenton Roofing and Siding, I actually got a ?live? person on the phone. Some of the other companies that I called did NOT bother to respond after I had to leave several messages. Is that good business practice? The Trenton representative came out to look at my job within the week. He sat down with me to answer all my questions and provide an estimate. He was very courteous and did not try to push the ?hard sell?. The proposal followed a day or two later. My job required the company to completely tear off two layers of roofing, replace some of the plywood and replace two lengths of gutters. This was not a small job. The work was completed as promised, regardless to the 90+ degree heat. The weather had not been very cooperative and we had many days and weeks of torrential rain. This did push the project out a little but, Trenton Roofing and Siding kept me information of the delays. As they say, you can?t fight Mother Nature. Trust me, this company is top notch and you won?t be sorry that you hired them.

Excellent. They respond to calls and e mails quickly. They send the contract out quickly and the work is scheduled within a reasonable amount of time. Representatives of the company have been pleasant, informative and helpful. No one has ever tried to sell me more than I needed. I've used the company 3 times now.

The day I wrote my reveiw of a initial job performed by Trenton Roofing it wast approximately 4pm n the afternoon, I was'nt thinking much would result from it but I could not be more wrong. That night I had a message from the owner of the company,asking me to call him so he could get more information about what happened. The next day I did call and speak to Mr. Guykowitz (not sure of spelling). He was very professional and assured me that the previously qouted price was not accurate and that he would have the posts installled for 100.00 dollars. True to his word, they were installed them same week and for a hundred dollars. Good customer service is hard to come by, but Trenton Roofing went above and beyod my expectations, Originally I wanted a estimate for the posts and to replace my front door. Unfrontunaly they don't do front doors but they did give me the name and number of someone who does do doors.

Trenton's work was excellent. They were courteous and very skillful and did the a wonderful job.They stayed in the time frame and they cleaned up after themselves. My only issue with the company occurred recently. I called for them to install two posts that hold up a small overhang above my porch. The gentleman who came out looked at the posts that I had purchased and said he would e-mail me an estimate. He assured me that he would try and keep the cost down because I had recently made a big purchase from the company. That night he e-mailed and said that I had purchased the wrong posts, stating they were not weight bearing posts. I am not a contractor but clearly on the posts label it stated weight bearing capacity of 2,500 pounds per post. I called and left a message telling him that indeed they were weight bearing posts. A day later he called me and asked if it would be possible to stick a 2X4 up the middle of the post. I informed him this was not possible because the post itself has a metal post through the middle of it and there would be no room for anything to be inserted into it. He then asked me send a picture of the post to his phone and he would look at it and call me back. I did as requested, no phone call back but he did e-mail me the estimate that night for $965.00 and I would supply the posts. Granted he will have to supply some color matched metal sheeting to wrap around the top of the post, so it is aesthetically pleasing. Even if I attribute $100.00 for the sheeting, I am astounded that he wants to charge me 865.00 dollars in labor. This job should take no longer than an hour, at max. an hour and a half.

I called Trenton roofing and siding for estimates two separate times - once to look at a repair that was needed for our siding, and a second time for an estimate to replace our roof. I specifically called them based on reviews on this website, and also because I have heard many great recommendations from co-workers. For both estimate appointments I was given a 5-hour window of time, which meant I was required to stay home from work. Each time, someone came out to look at what we needed and discussed the details with me. And each time, they confirmed my email address before leaving and then I never received an estimate or heard from them again after the appointment. It was truly disappointing, but even more so because of the 5-hour wait window. Every other contractor we met with was able to make an appointment for a specific time, and then followed through with an actual estimate. Although the workmanship may be great, we would not contact Trenton roofing and siding again.

I had a few unfortunate customer service experiences which were quickly fixed by Charlie. He called and immediately asked to rectify the situation by coming out to the house and providing an estimate for the work we requested.

They were very courteous and got back with my quickly. It took a couple of times to get the problem fixed correctly, but they did get it taken care of. It was about a year later that the problem reappeared, but they came back without question to fix it. The crew was all very professional.
